Horrible customer service. If you use the 90 buyout option, be prepared. They make you jump through hoops. Know your lease agreement. They will try to *** you over at the end.

I was put in a hardship program for 5 leases with Zibby and was told it was for three payment cycles. I have paid ONE payment and was taken out of the program. They are now demanding significantly more than I paid and telling me the hardship program was for 30 days. 30 days would have covered at least two payments given that they are biweekly, however I paid one payment only. Additionally, I paid off two of the accounts by paying the amount shown in "own your item today for $xx". The money was taken out of my account however they are still showing balances due. One of them I actually accidentally overpaid on. Customer service via chat tells me to call. When you call hold times are significant, and you are told something different every time anyway.

I was approved for months for a KATAPULT account to be used with WAYFAIR. I could not get the Site to take my debit card information I finally contacted customer service and was told on phone it was because DIRECT EXPRESS DEBIT CARD COULD NOT BE USED TO MAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS. Young man said I had to use the same account all of the process. I explained due to the attorney not being in office I could not pick up money to go into my checking account till MAY( office closed due to pandemic). I was concerned because items needed were on clearence and there were few left. He told me not to worry that those items could remain in on line Wayfair cart and that I had until JUN*** to use KATAPULT TO GET THEM! I received an email from Katapult just before APRIL ***. I was informed that I had till APRIL *** to use my Katapult account or it would be closed. I quickly responded giving information I was given by their employee! ( This conversation was recorded so that can be proven). I explained that Bank of America account would have money available for use MAY***. I asked for them to honor their word! When I tried to make the informed order MAY*,it wouldn’t go through! After waiting over an hr for a “CHAT ONLINE “, young woman informed me the account had been closed previous day. Nothing I said made any difference. So, I called customer service, and although I was treated well, nothing old be done without a length review by their administrative team. ( I am trying to buy what I can for as little as possible as my home was vandalized badly, alleged contractor stole so much of what he didn’t destroy, and through fraud of my debit card, stole over $19,000!( this was filed through TN GOV AND SHERIFF DEPARTMENT). I have not gotten back any money and so much was taken or destroyed, my home is just beginning to be put back together). I keep getting alerts from WAYFAIR THAT THESE THINGS ATE GOING OR ARE GONE. TODAY I ASKED KATAPULT BY CHAT IF I COULD PUT LARGE AMOUNT OF $600 down and get the items( I was approved for $2500). In no way would the person even attempt to see what could be done!

I ordered furniture through *** and picked a company called *** to pay over time. *** then sold my account to Katapult which began taking money out of my account above and beyond what was agreed upon with ***. Taking payments every 3 days instead of 1 time weekly. Then they would take the payments multiple times in one day. I tried to speak with someone from katapult and they would not help me or take my payment information off of their system after I told them I didn’t agree to them taking money out of my account in a way which was not agreed upon.

I am still being charged for an item I returned back to Wayfair. I was never told that a confirmation was still needed from Wayfair. Instead, they told me payments would be cancelled and then they shut off my auto payment without my knowledge. Now I am greeted with a lovely email for the last couple of months informing me that my payments weren’t going through and that I now have a late fee.

I have managed to get into contact with them about the issue of still making payments on a returned item. They are insisting I still owe them and told me to speak with Wayfair directly. Wayfair informed me that they could not gain any information in regards to the issue and to go back and speak with Katapult. I then spoke with Katapult again and they told me to speak with Wayfair once again!

Terrible customer service and terrible business practices. Every month they have either not taken a payment (supposedly I wasn't set up on auto pay but no one can tell me when I cancelled the autho pay), randomly taken payments (when in default they have the right to charge the card on file), or taken additional payments (I make a payment because "it's not set to auto pay" then magically it's set to auto pay!). They take no responsibility (it is either my fault or the payment systems) and offer no solution other than "it's a credit to your account so at least it will be paid off faster"... well that doesn't help when you took money for groceries or other bills and will not refund it!

I went on Lenovo's website to purchase products and they have different ways to pay I was trying to choose the option through lenovo to pay for the product in 4 payments. I noticed too late that I actually chose a leasing agreement. When I explained it to the company I was told even though it was a mistake the could not give me my money back even though I didn't receive the product. The 90 was non refundable. I really just want my money back the told me they're not required to in ny

I have contacted the company about the matter several times, and explained the situation and the response was basically oh well you live in
NY so we aren't required to give you a refund. Cheating people out of money is not a good way to do business. The products never shipped and it was a mistake.

Had I realized that the product would end up costing me more than double the price I would never used this. I guess if you are like me and your credit isn't stellar then it is an option, but I don't think it is a very good option. I would not recommend this to anyone.

THE WORST they have the MOST RUDE CONDESCENDING CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE EVER!!!!
Katapult is the WORST! Order and received items and returned them within 24 hours and was issued a refund by *** BUT after a 2 weeks my account shows no return I waited a week before requesting a refund and after s waiting for SOMEONE to "CHAT" with me I was told my account would be closed and a refund would be made in about 3 to 5 business days. It's been 3 weeks since and no refund issued they blame the other company I have called the other company several times the other company has issued the refund I have tried several times to resolve this and depending on who I speak to I get a different story including 2 different "Supervisors" with the exception of 2 people I have be treated very rudely and talked down to like I am an It for wanting my money back for stuff I don't even have. THE NERVE OF ME. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES!!!!!

Very high fees if you didnt decide to buyout (pay full price of the item) in the first 90 days.

Used this company through *** and I NEVER USE AGAIN!! I wish I read these reviews before hand. They took down payment for patio furniture leasing but the order never went through on the *** side. *** has NO record of my order. Items still appeared to be “in cart” but Katapult had taken its money out of my bank account straight away my and created a payment schedule. I’ve called, I’ve texted and tried to cancel this bc ultimately I don’t want to be paying bi weekly for patio furniture that’ll never get.

This is a scam. They charge you $45 just to run the application and it doesn't go towards your payment. They add additional fees and penalize you for paying off early. Avoid at all costs.

SUCH A SCAM
I went in a week ago and made a large sum payment with my stimulus check to pay off my items and be stop these stupid weekly payments. Guess what came out today. ANOTHER STUPID WEEKLY PAYMENT!!!! I called to see why im still getting charged and he basically blamed
me for not paying in February and how I got some automated email about how I paid off my account but I still owed and I need to pay x amount more to pay it off..... Uhmmm WHAT! I paid it off last week! I got an (apparently an automated) email saying “congratulations, you now own your items!” You know why systems send any automatic email?! Because you paid off your items!! So now another payment came out, which I don’t have the money for because nobody has any work and I certainly don’t have the money to pay off what they say I owe. It’s literally theft. They can just add whatever amount they want to say you owe and there’s nothing you can do about it. I even went on my account and it says I owe $60 something and in the phone he said I owe $100 something. Soooo what’s with the discrepancy? They are liars and cheaters and frauds and I am so angry at myself for ever using them!! Do not use them. I repeat do not use them!!!
At this point I’ve paid wayyyy more than that couch I got was worth.

Absolutely do not do business with this shady company... They will constantly charge you when it's not your payment date and double charge you, and give the run around about how they can't do anything about it. You are better off going to progressive leasing or saving money. Progressive at least works with you when needed and has stayed on track with payments with no issues.

Absolutely do not use this place for anything or else you will regret every second with them.

I signed a lease originally called Zibby. They withdraw on both my accounts twice a month leaving 8 payments total a month 9 payments to date. One item loan is $562.49 as of 3/*** I have already paid $503.28 of 3/*** they state my payout to be $575.52 totaling my amount to be $1,138.01 FOR THE TOTAL LOAN!. My second item loan is for $1,079.97 as of 3/*** I have paid $924.66 as of 3/*** they state my payout to be $994.51 totaling my amount to be $1,919.17 FOR THE TOTAL LOAN. As I addressed this with customer care, she stated we signed a contract that stated this additional amount, I refused to believe I would sign anything that ridiculous. So I pulled up the screen shots (Since they did not have a download copy) and to my surprise it was blank! They did not allow me to screen shot what I "signed". Zibby is now Katapult, and they are screwing people over by not being honest of what we are first shown in the contract, secondly they are not upfront monthly of what is being paid, and how much remains as you pay, leaving you to do the math yourself, figuring out the time frame of payments so that they hide what they are doing. Furthermore, I ask for a copy of this "so called signed contract" and there it was, Big and BOLD. I 1000% know I would never sign such an agreement, nor would my husband. We only agreed to do this payment to increase our credit, not because we needed the money!

Jada went above and beyond to understand my frustration and cleared my confusion. However my issue still remains with the company. Jada was not responsible for the initial contract or website discrepancies. Katapult, previously known as Zibby is blind siting people by not being clear in their contracts or 65% added leasing charge. Lease to loan seekers be warned not to use Katapult as I'm sure you will be blind sited and not warned about this top dollar increase added to your total amount. Although my issue was cleared I still lost money in this transaction. This business should NOT be functioning as they are stealing peoples money and getting away with it! NOTHING IS WORTH IT!

I had two separate leases with Katapult that started at the end of December of last year. I completely paid off one lease in the middle of March and the second lease (for a couch), I paid off on March ***. At first, I thought I had paid off both leases prior to March *** because my online account reflected I had a suspense balance (extra money I had previously paid that would be applied to my account) and I also made a 300.00 payment to go along with that, which should have taken care of my lease. Well at the end of March, on the *** to be exact, I received a notification saying that I failed to pay off my lease so I would have to pay over 400.00 extra. I called customer service and the agent claimed that the suspense account balance had already been applied and was not yet reflected on the payment screen, so I only owed an additional $98. It was pretty fishy to me that I still owed money on a lease that I always paid on time and even paid extra on but I still paid the $98. She told me to make the payment on the phone rather than online so that it can be put in the notes that I owed no more money. She also stated I was not responsible for any more payments and that both of my leases were officially closed out. I was so happy to not only be done making those payments but also to be done with this company because I feel it was a complete scam. Fast forward to today, April , and I get a notification saying that my recurring payment is due by Friday. I called and Rudy, the man I spoke with, completely talked over me, told me that I needed to pay over 300.00 and then finally stated that he would roll my case up to a supervisor because he was incapable of resolving it on his end. I am so infuriated. I had been making payments on time every other week since December. I also paid EXTRA multiple times that was deposited into some “suspense account” that never seemed to be accessible for future payments. I spoke with multiple people to help me get this resolved so I do not owe any more money and now I feel that I am back at square one. I was told by multiple people that this would be in the notes section for my account so that this mistake would NOT be made. I was told that my leases were complete.

I lost my job due the pandemic, I called the Katapult call center I told them that the only money that a had in my account was for feed my kids and some for the health insurance copay because a have a son with underline chronic health issue, but they did anyway and took them money out of my account, please for the sake of God come and pick up those horrible furniture to my house and give the money that I already pay back, I have a family to provide, and me and my wife aren’t working at this moment, I need to pay my son medication copay he needs his medication Avery 14 days, I need to choose between keeping pay you guys or provide my so medication copay, this ridiculous what you guys doing, Ounce again please come and take your furniture to my house, and give my money back.

I paid off my lease with for headlights I ordered 2 years ago, I got a email confirming I pod off the lease back in February, they still keep trying to take money out of my account and are stating I am pst due. I have tried to email the company in reference to this multiple times with no response yet they keep charging fees and trying to collect payment for an item I already paid off. They started a whole new lease for the same product with a start date in March when I paid off the items in February of 2019! I did not sign nor authorize this!

My number has been the same for 12 years... so that is not true and you have not tried calling me. My items were paid off and you started a new lease for the same items I own without my consent or signature which if fraud... so fix your mistake and take ownership. At first I was fairly pleased with this company, in giving me a chance, but upon purchasing another order and using zibby (now Katapult) I am now, dissapointed. Upon making a purchase, I found out, that the payment price for my order was 3 X`s the amount that was offered. When I contacted the customer service they were rude, judgemental. The agent amount offered was weekly not monthly (did not say that) So I had to cancel my purchase, and now that I have, they not only have kept my down payment, but have taken out additional payments on a previous loan. In which I have never ever been late on. Despite them not accepting debit card all because it's a MasterCard. So used my account instead, Yet they continue to claim they never received, them. And they are quick to report your behind more then your current on your credit report.
