I have reviewed the
response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThe letter from Chase reads: "You changed your account from Freedom to Sapphire on [...], but that does not make it eligible for the new account bonus of 50,bonus points after spending $4,on purchase within the first three months of the account spendingThe offer is only available for new accountsIf you wish to apply for this or any other available offers, you may visit chase.com/credit-cards."I have noticed that a clarification was added to the card description that reads "You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products." That was not there when I changed my credit card, and I am happy to see that added to avoid customer confusion.I did like the Sapphire card, highly recommended for travelling internationallyFor the time being, I switched back to Freedom as advised by Chase managers over the phone, and I have moved my spending to another credit card company with better benefits than FreedomI suppose Chase cannot care less about that, so we are all winners
