These guys are great Priced competitively, efficient workers, and providing excellent servicewhat more could you ask? Bottom line, they were true to their word and they handled my furniture like it was their own I'll know who to call in the future!
We just did a move with Jones Moving and Storage this past weekendIt was hard days of a complex moveTravis, the owner's son, was the foreman of the crewBrian, Alex, Richie, Matt, John, Robby, and a young man who had just joined the company (sorry I didn't get his name) rounded out the groupWe weren't expecting so many folks first thing Friday, but after a quick walk-through at the first location, everyone got down to work packing and movingEveryone in the crew was attentive and willing to do whatever it took to get the job doneOne of the main reasons for choosing Jones Moving, aside from the excellent ratings, was that they also have secure, climate controlled storage at their warehouse, which was needed for much of our large, and some antique, quality wood furnitureThe crew was efficient, and the teamwork was evident and necessary to maneuver the largest pieces out of the house and on to the truckThey even accommodated our baby grand player pianoI did not have time to gather multiple estimates for this job, as it was emergentI would guess Jones is not the least expensive company in town, but they have been around a long time (over years), have a solid reputation, and hire excellent peopleI'll look forward to seeing them again when our remodeled home is ready to receive our stuff
Our family just moved locally from North Scottsdale to a little further North ScottsdaleI highly recommend this amazing companyFrom the moment I opened my door to greet them to the moment they were all done with my move - the entire staff and crew were incredibly professional, optimistic, polite, easy-going, and conscientiousMoving is a stressful time and these professionals helped to minimize the stress of moving dayI was so grateful to have them help us moveI will recommend them to all my friends and anyone that asks for a moving companyAmazing and truly if there were six stars to rate them, I'd give them that!!!!
We had a Great Experience with the crew, they went above and beyond what I expected

Thankfully we will not be moving again but if I did I would call you again!!
Thank you again!!
I moved with this company six weeks ago They quoted me a price range based on hours of service and they went well above that Their quote, walkthrough, and confirmation phone call all stated they would use the semi truck because of the amount of furniture we had The four movers, who were very kind, arrived with a smaller truck and the lead mover said that was the third time that week they were told that the customers were quoted the semi but told to arrive (by ***) with the smaller truck I even have the lead mover’s cell phone number and he said he’d gladly confirm this is true When we went to pay, the bill was $over the high end of the estimate I asked the lead mover to speak to *** and asked for a discount because we lost over two hours by making three trips with the smaller truck *** wouldn’t even address the truck situation and blamed my mother for taking time to dust the furniture as it came in the house She repeatedly said the my mother dusted the e
I stumbled upon Jones Moving and am completely thankful I did They were the most professional movers I have ever used They showed up on time, packed my home with care and moved it from *** to *** with no issues Their pricing was reasonable and the took ownership for everything If shopping for movers, I would give serious consideration to Steve, Candice and team A+!
Mr *** was set up for moving on Sun:8/25/in the AM, he called me on Sat to move his date to Monday, I told him we could move him on Monday ,but I was unsure on the time due to fitting him in the scheduleI told mr Stieinberg the driver would call him when he was in route to his place, he
said that was fine. Our Driver called when he was in route to Mr *** that morning.Mr *** stated to the driver he wasn't ready Our driver said if you need more time we can come a little later,No just come now."Mr *** had the option to call the office as well , and set the appointment for a little later that morning, he never called me.The driver never said to him he would need to reschedule for another day, Thats Simply Not True! Our driver would've told him to call the officeOur crews simply don't know the schedule. The driver and his helper got there and did expectally what Mr & Mrs *** wantedBetween Mr & Mrs *** arguing about what was going and what wasn't goingThe two kept giving our guys different messages, very confusing and chaotic to our guysOur guys packed with what the customer provided us with ,so I don't understand when he says with wrong cartonsOur guys pack all the time and know how to pack with proper material. He is just trying to find things wrong to justify to get money back.Mr *** said to our driver that he wasn't going to pay for the 2-3hrs of labor. He wanted to negotiate the time the guys where there And not pay for the labor they where working.I'm sorry ,but once our guys started working on the clock , we started our services at a hourly rate .He wanted free labor. Our guys worked hard and professional the whole time they where thereReference to invoice from our driver.BRIAN the driver has worked with our company for over 8yrs and has a very good Reputation our customers. Mrs *** even Tipped our guys $and said to tell my husband. No compensation is deserved. Candice
Had a great experience with Jones Moving & Storage this past week We just moved and our sellers left all their furniture behind, so after sifting through their stuff and our's we needed to have lots of big, heavy pieces of furniture moved to another floor or just out the door The guys did a great job and were very quick about it too Don't know how they moved some of the pieces, but very grateful they did Best experience and will certainly used them again Thanks
The two men were more than great! One of the best customer service experiences I've had!
Jones moving did an exceptional job at moving out of our 1800sq ft townhouseTheir equipment was new and the movers were on time and very cautious with our furniture etcI would highly recommend Jones to anyone looking for a professional move
Jones Moving Company moved my belongings a storage unit full from Auburn Hills Mi to Peoria AZ on Friday August 24. Mr. Jones was very friendly answered all my questions and concerned. He had two workers that worked with him they also were very friendly and helpful. I asked how long will it take to move all my things to the large moving van, I was told about a hour and a half. they were done in an hour. Jones movers worked quickly, fast being careful with items that needed special attention. When they were done I felt very confident without a doubt that I had made the right decision when selecting Jones Moving Company. My brother was in Peoria to receive my belongings and again Mr. Jones was very professional went right to work emptying moving van and placing my item carefully where I wanted them. They also put my king bed and dinning table together. Wonderful, fantastic, hard working and responsible company. Pricing was very fair and reasonable. Thank you Jones company Also to his wife who answered all my question and concerns.
Re: [redacted] *, complaint#[redacted] On September 9, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Jones Moving sent [redacted], our representative to prepare an estimate of moving costs for [redacted]. At that time [redacted] stated that he wanted Jones Moving to pack all breakable...
items and that his wife would pack all books and some non-breakable items. [redacted], asked [redacted] if he could bring by some tape and paper, and further stated that he didn’t need any boxes because he had a lot from his last move. On September 13, 2014, [redacted] delivered 12 rolls of tape and 4 bundles of paper to [redacted]’s house. Also discussed on September 9th was the fact that [redacted] was unsure whether or not some of the pieces in the house would need to be moved.September 30, 2014 A crew from Jones Moving arrived to pack. [redacted] informed the crew that his wife only packed three boxes and provided the crew with 11 unused rolls of tape and 4 bundles of unused paper. [redacted] again stated that he wanted us to use the old boxes from his last move. [redacted] informed [redacted] that the estimate given for packing would now be voided for two reasons, 1) there were now a lot more items to pack, as there were many books that were to have been packed by his wife; and 2) because he wanted to use his boxes, Jones Moving usually charges for packing by the box and would now need to charge by the hour, plus materials. [redacted] agreed and said we need to get this done. The crew began to pack as directed and about an hour into the job one of the crew members contacted me to inform me that [redacted] and his family had been drinking and had become intoxicated. Further the crew member stated that the situation was uncomfortable and that he did not feel right about moving this customer under these circumstances. I received another call later in the day informing me that [redacted] and his family were continuing to drink. I asked the crew to continue to packing. There ending up being too much to pack in one day so the crew had to return the next day to finish packing. October 1, 2014The day of the move, the Jones Moving crew arrived and found that [redacted] and his family were again impaired. Nevertheless the crew got to work, finished the packing and started loading the truck. It was getting late in the evening when they finished loading the truck. [redacted] requested the crew to wait unload the next day. October 2, 2014[redacted] and the crew arrived at the unloading site and found that the driveway had a steep slope and there was a long walk to the front door. Additionally, there were stairs going down to access the living room, family room and kitchen and stairs going up to two bedrooms an office. At the [redacted]’s request the crew moved furniture around several times. Unfortunately we cannot foresee these types of issues when preparing an estimate. All of these factors will cause an estimate to be incorrect and the cost will increase. Upon completion of the move, [redacted] paid for the move by check. The check was deposited to our account. Two days following the deposit, our bank informed me that [redacted]’s account had insufficient funds for the check to clear. I called [redacted] and he informed me that he would make a transfer between accounts and during the call he told me that our crew had done a great job for him. A week later [redacted] called me with questions about the bill. I told him I would have [redacted] call him to go over it with him. [redacted] called him the next day, went over the bill with him and answered all of [redacted]’s questions. [redacted] explained that we had extra packing to do and at the unloading there was a long walk and steep hill and stairs that he was unaware of and that’s why the increase in the move cost. He indicated to [redacted] that he understood and that it was fine. I received another call a few days later and [redacted] was again questioning the bill, he also said that he was missing a small bottle and a small ivory item. I told him that the crew uses a lot of paper when packing and asked that he check all of the paper, because it is easy to lose small pieces. [redacted] requested to talk with [redacted]. I told him that [redacted] is out of state on a job and that I would have him call him on Friday, October 24, 2014. He said that fine.October 23, 2014[redacted] called me asking when [redacted] would be calling him and I told him he would call the next day. To which he responded o.k. October 24, 2014[redacted] Jones called [redacted] who again had questions regarding his bill. [redacted] told him that the crew had to do a lot more packing than what was originally requested. Per the estimate and considering the additional factors which Jones Moving was required to deal with to complete the move, including the steep incline from the truck, the many stairs, the requirement of the client that the crew move furniture around several times, all added to the cost of completing the job. Prior to the crew packing [redacted] discussed with [redacted] that [redacted] understood that the charges for his move would exceed the estimate. [redacted] reminded [redacted] that he had agreed and said that they just needed to get the move done. During the conversation [redacted] began making derogatory comments about [redacted] and me. [redacted] told him that he could not continue the conversation with him, as he was slurring his words and had begun making the derogatory comments. [redacted] replied that the conversation was over and that he was done and wanted nothing more to do with [redacted] and Jones Moving. During the conversation [redacted] never once mentioned anything with regard to missing items.November 27, 2014 [redacted] called me and asked when [redacted] would be calling him, I told him [redacted] had called him on Friday, November 24, 2104 and you told him you were done with him and Jones Moving. [redacted] said, I never talked with him, I said, yes sir you did, because I dialed your phone in his cell phone and handed the phone to him to speak with you. [redacted] said, I'm sorry, but I don't remember. I told him that [redacted] Jones would not be speaking with him further since [redacted] sated he was done with Jones Moving. [redacted] went on to say, well what are you going to do about the damage to my grandfather clock and table. I told him I was not aware of such issues, as he had not mentioned this previously. I told him I would check with [redacted] and the crew and give him a call back. I spoke with [redacted] and the crew and [redacted] told me that the issues with the items were present at the time of the move and that the issues were pointed out to [redacted] before the pieces were moved. [redacted] showed him the leg on his table was cracked before moving it and he was going to tape up at the unloading for support until ** [redacted] could fix it and his said that fine.I sent out a couple of guys from the crew to view the two pieces. When they did they reminded [redacted] that they had pointed these issues out to him on the day of the move. The crew informed me that the two items are very old and were badly marked up and glued up and that at the time of the move when they were discussing the items with [redacted] he was already quite impaired.[redacted] called again and asked what we are going to do for him. I informed him that Jones Moving had done everything he requested with the packing and moving and that the damages he was complaining about were not caused by our crew. Since that time, I have received numerous calls from both Mr. [redacted] and his son continuously threatening me and Jones Moving. Sincerely,[redacted], Office Manager
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
While Jones Moving & Storage believes they are powerless to release my furniture, this is only a front for the fact that he is stealing my furniture to settle another business debt. Jones Moving acts as a contracted agent and willfully accepted my merchandise with full knowledge of their intent to either hold it until their dispute was settled or to sell it to settle the outstanding balance. I consigned my furniture to [redacted]'s agent, Jones Moving & Storage. As a contracted agent, Jones Moving is bound to operate under those contract rules but failed to do so. They should have taken delivery of my merchandise and then performed the services they agreed to upon accepting my furniture. Instead of doing this, they decided they could use my merchandise to force [redacted] to settle some preexisting disputes they apparently have with them. My merchandise is only related to the dispute through bad timing, from my brief conversation with David at Jones Moving, he is holding other merchandise hostage as well, so he knew well in advance that he was planning on this course of action. Amazing, my best guess is that [redacted] owes Jones Moving & Storage money and because Jones Moving couldn't get that debt settled, they decided to take my furniture to either leverage [redacted] to pay their bills or to keep my furniture to pay off those bills. In either case, this is bad business and they should not have a A rating here. Keep in mind this isn't some chump change, there are 27 pieces of furniture worth over $7,500 on Jones Moving's dock. The local customer who paid for the furniture in full was made to sit with an empty house for almost two weeks before I had to opt to send an entire new order while Jones Moving steals mine. They claim they can't release the furniture but that is simply untrue because they acted as an agent and can thus act as an agent and release the furniture to its rightful owner. There is no shortage of documentation proving who owns the furniture, but the real reason Jones Moving is not going release my furniture is because they don't want to let go of the furniture and if their dispute with [redacted] isn't settled, they are going to sell my furniture. Does that sound like upstanding business practices?NO, the response from Jones Moving & Storage is not sufficient, they do not own or have any right to hold my furniture to settle debts unrelated to our contract at hand.
In respond to [redacted] second letter. This estimate wasn't a Binding Estimate due to much uncertainty for the pack & move.Sorry for the misspelling of [redacted] name I copied it from the Revdex.com letter. It is very unfair for [redacted] to judge the experience of[redacted]s he has been in the family business for many years and is highly recommend by many customers to be on their job. This is funny that on the second day I talk to [redacted] about him wanting to unload the next day. He state that [redacted] was a wonderful young man and he is doing a great job. And again the day I talked with him about his check, he also state that he was impressed with [redacted] and now is cutting him down.As I stated in the first respond that [redacted] verbally stated that Mrs Bucklew would be packing all books and [redacted] noted it on the hard copy of the estimate.[redacted] called me when he arrived that says that she only packed three boxes and that. [redacted] wanted to use all his boxes from his past move. [redacted] did tell him that the estimate would be voided, and we would be doing the packing by the hour. We do our packing by the box and it includes the box, tape, paper, & labor. Sorry the [redacted] does remember, because of his state. One roll of tape was slightly used and no paper was used at all for her packing. So thirteen boxes were never packed as [redacted] stated. So [redacted] calculated $2,460.00 than the packing is under the packing quote, but the next day we had one man finishing the rest of the packing and he was on the clock by the hour.I don't understand why [redacted] is breaking our hourly rate per man.Our hourly rate includes much more than per man rate. It includes the use of the truck, tools, pads, dollies ,gas , insurance on the truck, cargo insurance ,licensing,State taxes and the men. No real moving company does there rate by the man.You can't compare your last move, because every move is different. With different circumstances like stairs, long walk , steep incline in which we accrue with your unloading location. That we were unaware of due to us not having the address and with a free estimate we don't go to assess the unloading location. [redacted] was aware of the move quote going over , because of the long walk and incline from our 48ft trailer not get close to his home.As far as the large use of paper, we have to use a lot paper so things do not break and if you would have done the packing by the box you wouldn't have been charge for paper ,because it's include in to the box price. I'm pretty sure [redacted] over looked the small piece they are looking for , because it would have been wrapped with lots of paper. The crew member did point out the damage in several occasionsAnd [redacted] did point out the leg and grandfather clock with picture that were attached. Why in the first email you were trying to said we damaged the grandfather clock, now you are saying we pointed it out to you. If we damage something we would be the first to step up and fix it. But we are not going to fix things we clearly did do.As far as [redacted] calls to Jones Moving, I did answer all of his calls up until the complaint to the Revdex.com and I told him that from this point out you will get my respond from the Revdex.com. And that there is nothing more I can do for you.We did a first class pack and move and I feel like he is trying to just get money back ,because he doesn't want to pay for good service.Sincerely, [redacted]Jones Moving
We understand Mr. [redacted]' frustration and suggest he continue to pursue a claim with [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] is not our customer nor does he know the details of the contract between Jones Moving and Storage and [redacted]. Also, the freight in question has been shipped out of the warehouse by [redacted] and is no longer in our possession.
Follow up letter on my response to complaint.Anwser To 1. Like I said in my first responds to this question , my driver BRIAN called Mr [redacted] before arriving to his place and when Mr [redacted] said he wasn’t ready, my driver told him he could wait and come out a little later.Mr [redacted] Said NO Come now. I never received a phone call from Mr [redacted] saying he wanted us a come back later. So this statement is completely false. Answer to 2. Mr [redacted] never said anything until later in the middle of the move. He stated to my drivers that we would be giving him a three hour credit. My driver called me about this matter and I said No we aren’t giving any credits. We don’t offer free labor. He had the option have us come back later. Answer to 3. Our crew said that Mr & Mr [redacted] kept saying one thing about what was going and they were arguing with each other about it. it got very confusing who they should ask on that matter. The drivers called me about the packing, Mr [redacted] just want it put in the boxes with no protection, so my drivers put on the bill can do my job properly due to customer. So the problem was Mr. [redacted]. Not letting the crew do there job.answer to 4. Mr. [redacted] knew before the crew went to the unloading go get cash out and I was on the phone when the driver told him and he said ok,due to the circumstances of how Mr [redacted] was acting , my driver was getting a Bad vibe from him. So that was on Mr [redacted] that the crew had to wait on him. Mr [redacted] received a professional moving service and should not receive any money back for services we have provided him , our crew worked the whole time and even got a tip from Mrs [redacted]. I haven’t put false statement on any bad review your wrote about our company. We have a very Reparable company in the valley for over 30 yearsCandice J[redacted]
