We moved a fairly large home from [redacted] to [redacted] We packed our own boxes but had Jones Moving do everything else They did a fabulous job They had loading including the owner of the company and four of them travelled and unloaded at our new home, so they did not have to pick up local labor They were quick and efficient Everything was wrapped and taped with blankets and they were very careful not to damage anythingI would highly recommend this company

Re: [redacted] *** *, complaint# [redacted] On September 9, at 4:p.m Jones Moving sent [redacted] ***, our representative to prepare an estimate of moving costs for [redacted] At that time *** [redacted] stated that he wanted Jones Moving to pack all breakable items and that his wife would pack all books and some non-breakable items [redacted] , asked [redacted] if he could bring by some tape and paper, and further stated that he didn’t need any boxes because he had a lot from his last moveOn September 13, 2014, [redacted] delivered rolls of tape and bundles of paper to [redacted] ’s house Also discussed on September 9th was the fact that [redacted] was unsure whether or not some of the pieces in the house would need to be moved.September 30, A crew from Jones Moving arrived to pack [redacted] informed the crew that his wife only packed three boxes and provided the crew with unused rolls of tape and bundles of unused paper [redacted] again stated that he wanted us to use the old boxes from his last move [redacted] informed [redacted] that the estimate given for packing would now be voided for two reasons, 1) there were now a lot more items to pack, as there were many books that were to have been packed by his wife; and 2) because he wanted to use his boxes, Jones Moving usually charges for packing by the box and would now need to charge by the hour, plus materials [redacted] agreed and said we need to get this done The crew began to pack as directed and about an hour into the job one of the crew members contacted me to inform me that [redacted] and his family had been drinking and had become intoxicated Further the crew member stated that the situation was uncomfortable and that he did not feel right about moving this customer under these circumstances I received another call later in the day informing me that [redacted] and his family were continuing to drink I asked the crew to continue to packing There ending up being too much to pack in one day so the crew had to return the next day to finish packingOctober 1, 2014The day of the move, the Jones Moving crew arrived and found that [redacted] and his family were again impairedNevertheless the crew got to work, finished the packing and started loading the truckIt was getting late in the evening when they finished loading the truck [redacted] requested the crew to wait unload the next dayOctober 2, [redacted] and the crew arrived at the unloading site and found that the driveway had a steep slope and there was a long walk to the front doorAdditionally, there were stairs going down to access the living room, family room and kitchen and stairs going up to two bedrooms an officeAt the [redacted] ’s request the crew moved furniture around several timesUnfortunately we cannot foresee these types of issues when preparing an estimateAll of these factors will cause an estimate to be incorrect and the cost will increase Upon completion of the move, [redacted] paid for the move by check The check was deposited to our accountTwo days following the deposit, our bank informed me that [redacted] ’s account had insufficient funds for the check to clear I called [redacted] and he informed me that he would make a transfer between accounts and during the call he told me that our crew had done a great job for himA week later [redacted] called me with questions about the bill I told him I would have [redacted] call him to go over it with him [redacted] called him the next day, went over the bill with him and answered all of [redacted] ’s questions [redacted] explained that we had extra packing to do and at the unloading there was a long walk and steep hill and stairs that he was unaware of and that’s why the increase in the move costHe indicated to [redacted] that he understood and that it was fineI received another call a few days later and [redacted] was again questioning the bill, he also said that he was missing a small bottle and a small ivory item I told him that the crew uses a lot of paper when packing and asked that he check all of the paper, because it is easy to lose small pieces [redacted] requested to talk with [redacted] ***I told him that [redacted] is out of state on a job and that I would have him call him on Friday, October 24, He said that fine.October 23, [redacted] called me asking when [redacted] would be calling him and I told him he would call the next dayTo which he responded o.kOctober 24, [redacted] Jones called [redacted] who again had questions regarding his bill *** told him that the crew had to do a lot more packing than what was originally requested Per the estimate and considering the additional factors which Jones Moving was required to deal with to complete the move, including the steep incline from the truck, the many stairs, the requirement of the client that the crew move furniture around several times, all added to the cost of completing the job Prior to the crew packing [redacted] discussed with [redacted] that [redacted] understood that the charges for his move would exceed the estimate [redacted] reminded [redacted] that he had agreed and said that they just needed to get the move done During the conversation [redacted] began making derogatory comments about [redacted] and me [redacted] told him that he could not continue the conversation with him, as he was slurring his words and had begun making the derogatory comments [redacted] replied that the conversation was over and that he was done and wanted nothing more to do with [redacted] and Jones MovingDuring the conversation [redacted] never once mentioned anything with regard to missing items.November 27, [redacted] called me and asked when [redacted] would be calling him, I told him [redacted] had called him on Friday, November 24, and you told him you were done with him and Jones Moving [redacted] said, I never talked with him, I said, yes sir you did, because I dialed your phone in his cell phone and handed the phone to him to speak with you [redacted] said, I'm sorry, but I don't rememberI told him that [redacted] Jones would not be speaking with him further since [redacted] sated he was done with Jones Moving [redacted] went on to say, well what are you going to do about the damage to my grandfather clock and tableI told him I was not aware of such issues, as he had not mentioned this previously I told him I would check with [redacted] and the crew and give him a call backI spoke with [redacted] and the crew and [redacted] told me that the issues with the items were present at the time of the move and that the issues were pointed out to [redacted] before the pieces were moved [redacted] showed him the leg on his table was cracked before moving it and he was going to tape up at the unloading for support until ** [redacted] could fix it and his said that fine.I sent out a couple of guys from the crew to view the two pieces When they did they reminded [redacted] that they had pointed these issues out to him on the day of the move The crew informed me that the two items are very old and were badly marked up and glued up and that at the time of the move when they were discussing the items with [redacted] he was already quite impaired[redacted] called again and asked what we are going to do for himI informed him that Jones Moving had done everything he requested with the packing and moving and that the damages he was complaining about were not caused by our crewSince that time, I have received numerous calls from both Mr [redacted] and his son continuously threatening me and Jones MovingSincerely, [redacted] ***, Office Manager

I hired them for a local move and according to their paperwork, they are not responsible for anything I had a lot of smaller boxes already packed so they packed them in bigger boxes and charged me for that There was a box marked FRAGILE on it and it was packed toward the bottom with heavier boxes on top of itThey also broke a lamp and to file a claim for $it is hard to replace it for that price It was also packed in one of the boxes they packed with stuff on top of it They overcharged me, I unfortunately did not check the math while they were here I just had my wife sign the form The math was wrong and they overcharged me thereSince I was charged a 5% service charge using a credit card They would probably charge me a service charge for a refund

I hired this moving company after several issues with [redacted]  it was a last minute decision I wish I could take back I was moving from Phoenix to CanadaThe service they quoted me was not the service they provided Once they unloaded my belongings off of the [redacted]  truck and had it in their possession the agreement changed Their truck broke down which caused a delay in me getting my stuff once I questioned that to Candice the owner she was sure to voice her opinion No customer service was provided and she did not hesitate to yell at me/ hang up the phone and let me know not once but twice she threatened to drop my stuff off at a storage facility Who threatens to put your stuff in storage especially along the one way move I would never recommend this company to anyone The address they provided in Michigan belonged to another company We unloaded across the street in a building that was for sale Steve made sure he received the cash for the delivery before remo

Jones Moving and Storage was excellent! They moved me twice and each time they were professional, on time, and extremely careful with my belongings All the movers were cheerful and most efficient in how they moved things in and out of my residence Excellent! I would definitely recommend them!

We moved long distance , from Dallas,TX to Scottsdale,AZ The crew was fast and friendly and I loved that the owner was on my move from start to finishGreat family business , they made it stress-free for my family

This move went horribly
They were booked for a PM moveThey showed up 3-hours early without explanation, while we were in the final stages of packing our stuffWhen I asked if they could come back later that day, they claimed we'd have to rebook for another day (not possible)
The moving crew was entirely unprofessionalThey kept ignoring our instructions as to what to move, leaving closets partly or completely filled without explanationEach time I informed them of these lapses of attention, they had to stop and move stuff into already packed boxes or mix the items with other boxesIt made it difficult to unpack, since the requested labeling was wrong or non-existent, and goods were put in the wrong carton
My wife is still looking for toiletries and clothing since things were put into the wrong cartonsIn all, it probably took an extra two hours for them to finish loading the truck due to this carelessnessPart of that time was the result of being forced to allow t

To correct the misinformation and defamation from the vendor:When the driver arrived at least three hours early, I asked him to come back at the promised time (PM), and he said I’d have to call the office to rescheduleWe had to move that day, and thus rescheduling to another day and time would not be possibleWhen I notified him that I do not wish to be held responsible for the extra time that resulted from not being finished with our part of the packing, due to the early arrival ge told me to contact the office about arranging for a credit. At the start of the move, I informed them precisely what had to be taken, which was basically everything but heavy appliances and the range-mounted microwaveDuring the course of the packing operation, they kept missing items in closets and elsewhereThey ignored a full linen closet, and thus they had to go back and repack boxesOther items were thrown in haphazardly in boxes that were mislabeled or not labeledIt took us days to sort things outThis irresponsible behavior probably extended truck loading time by one to two hoursWhen I tried to pay in accordance with the advertised terms, partly in cash, partly via credit cardThey refused to take the credit cardsI finally persuaded them to take one, but I still wasted nearly half an hour going to the bank to get cash advances to cover the balanceThey charged me for the time I was forced to wait as the result of their decision to violate their own termsI requested a credit due to the above issues, that I should not have to pay for their unsatisfactory performance, the delays occasioned by the early arrival, and the delay that resulted from having to get unexpected cash advances while the crew waited and did nothing.I am not asking for free serviceI expect to pay a fair price for satisfactory work, but a reputable vendor should provide credits for the reasons stated aboveThe accusation that I expected service without paying is defamatoryIt requires an apology, removal from all public locations where this falsehood was posted, and for the unnecessary and unprofessional threat to call the police if I didn’t pay them immediately instead of addressing my reasonable concerns.*** ***

Jones Moving did a great jobThe guys worked hard despite the heat and stairsPunctual, professional and courteousPrior to moving day the front office was responsive and communicated well with us via emailWe intend to use Jones Moving again in a few months to move us from our temporary residence to our permanent home

They delivered what they promised Candice at the office was a pleasure to work with, and Steve and his crew were professional and friendly I would highly recommended them for any more and would use these people again

We would definitely hire Jones Moving and Storage for a move again! They communicated frequently, provided helpful tips, were punctual and had good help In our case, we had the boxes packed, which they loaded, and they took care of packing and moving all of the furniture We hired them based on the recommendation of another family member and they did not disappoint!

If I could give higher then a "Positive" rating, I would!! The whole process, from the first email to Candice, to handing the cash to the movers, Travis and AJ, at the finish, was nothing but smooth, fast, efficient and pleasant!!!!!!!! Everything was wrapped, and handled professionally and placed exactly where we wanted They also (very cheerfully) moved a couple things around for us after the fact Generally speaking, moving is not a pleasant thing However, this company, specifically, Candice, Travis and AJ, made it effortless for us Such a pleasusre to work with a professionally run company

this and has contacted ***. I have attached a copy of email correspondence between Mr*** and *** stating that he needs to file a claim with ***
