We reached out to [redacted] and explained that there was a rate increase of approximately $2.00 and at the same time a promotion he had ended.    We offered a new promotion to reduce his rate to $39.99 + tax for the next 12 months.    [redacted] agreed to this offer.

I am rejecting this response because:
The modem was successfully latching to multiple channels three days ago.  The hardware is in perfect shape.  There has been a change in the network configuration file that is being passed.  I would happily purchase a DOCSIS 3.1 modem to future-proof myself, but RCN does not allow for that, in spite of making a big deal of being the first vendor in the area to offer DOCSIS 3.1.

I am rejecting this response because:This response proves that RCN isn't knowledgable and just says things. "You have a balance" doesn't answer my questions. Here is what I need addressed:1. If I am "carrying a balance from the month before," my balance should be $66.60 + late fee + rejected payments fee. That should amount to at most $161.60 for last month. With this month, my total balance should be $228.20. I never asked for free internet, but I will not pay for something I didn't buy.2. Explain origin of balance with detailed explanation and a breakdown of actual services vs. Feb, 2015 mystery balance + your piles of fees. So that would be two columns--services vs. everything else.3. Justify why you're charging me for Feb., 2015 balance.4. Explain why you haven't allocated any of my payments for the past 18 months toward said past balance "originating in February, 2015."5. I need you to explain this because it seems like you are taking my money and stealing it, rather than updating my account.6. Justify making someone pay $458 for one month of internet + one late payment7. Tell me if you would personally pay this if it happened to you and why.

I reviewed the account and spoke to [redacted]  She has been having issues with the service connecting.  I ran tests and could see issues with the signal.  We had a technician come out and repair the issue and it is now working properly.
