Gerber Collision & Glass has been in contact with the complainant to discuss his concerns and have been unsuccessful in reaching a resolution. We have spoken with the complainant on several occasions, but has been unhappy with any suggested resolution.

I am rejecting this response because: I have reviewed the document that was signed by my husband and there was nothing about a tear down of the vehicle that we authorized. It only stated that we were responsible for repairs of of which there were none. and to remind Gerber Collision and Glass this was an accident caused by [redacted] Insurance's Client. I will warn others about Gerber's business habits should they ever get involved in accident. I will never ever bring a car to any collision center, especially not this one. Deceptive practices by a business does not make "legal" okay. Also the estimate stated it was not an authorization for repairs. We were offered 4700.00 for the full BB Value or 3900.00 to keep the vehicle by [redacted] which we planned to do since it was our only vehicle. They did a tear down of the vehicle before I even signed the title. I had no choice but to sign the title over once they fully damaged the car. Why did Gerber Collision go forward with a tear down when it was already claimed a total loss ? I have filed a complaint to the State Attorney General with photos of the damage from the accident and a photo of what the car looked like when my husband went to pick it up and drive it back to [redacted] to sign the title over that day. [redacted] said they were not aware of a tear down and extended the rental car for three days. I have also forwarded all documents to the State Attorney General's Office, and will also be filing to the State Insurance Commissioner.

Gerber Collision & Glass has been in contact with the complainant regarding her concerns with the bumper cover. We picked the complainant's vehicle up on April 20th to install the new cover and delivered the vehicle back to her on April 21st. Since delivery of the vehicle we have tried to...

10/18/2017. Complainant has been back to Gerber Collision and Glass on 10/23/2017 to have outstanding issues addressed. The shop is working with the complainant to complete vehicle to satisfaction. This is an ongoing process right now.&n**p;

Gerber Collision & Glass has been in contact with the complainant. We are trying to set up an inspection with hope in resolving any out standing issues the complainant may have. Thank you.
Gerber Collision & Glass has has offered complainant a meeting to review and address concerns. Complainant has declined and will be going using another collision company to address outstanding concerns. Gerber Collision & Glass will follow up with complainant to verify decision.

Gerber Collision & Glass has reviewed the complainant's rejection. We have the necessary documents to show that we did get authorization for tear down from the owner of the vehicle. Gerber Collision & Glass still stands by our original response that the shop was unable to reassemble and return the complainant's vehicle as they requested when [redacted] deemed it a total loss.

reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while they are working to complete work on my car, it is still not finished (10 weeks and counting). I am hesitant to accept the response given that the final product is still not delivered and they have failed to meet promised and even es[redacted]ated deadlines multiple [redacted]es. But I'm also unsure of what other options there may be. This company has been terrible since the beginning. I do not recommend them to anyone and I never want them coming near my car(s) ever again in the future.

Gerber Collision and Glass has been in contact with the complainant. Gerber has completed all covered repairs as well as the warranty repairs. Complainant has picked up the vehicle as of 11/16.
