Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage

I recently moved across town and used Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage to move me. I was extremely happy with their service from the office personnel and there movers. They were very friendly, efficient and took great pride in their work. I plan to use them again in July and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

I hired Hansen Bros. twice in the past year. Both moves were flawless. I have never seen movers so gentle with my furniture or careful with my walls. I can't recommend them enough. Their office staff was always courteous and easy to work with.

Moving my 90 yr old aunt across the state was stressful on many levels - but the actual move was handled beautifully by Hansen Brothers. From my first contact with the company to delivery on the East side everything was handled in such a professional manner. Dave and John handled my initial questions and got my estimates done quickly and answered all my questions. Moving day itself was a so smooth - Zach, Kevin and Ray were a great team - FAST and efficient. I highly recommend this company and am happy to pass along referrals to friends and family.

I am so impressed by the work done by the team that did our packing and by the delivery team as well. My fragile items were packed with the utmost care in custom boxes when needed. They were quick, timely and professional. Fantastic service from A to Z!

We received customer complaint #*** regarding insect damage incurred
to his belongings during storage. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to
address this unfortunate situation. The customer initially rented one of
our Portabox self-storage containers in June 2012. At
that time he was
presented with a detailed storage contract which he reviewed and signed,
indicating his understanding and acceptance of the associated terms and
conditions. He accessed his storage container at our facility one time on
October 6th, and then had the container redelivered to his residence
on 12/22/- we then retrieved the empty container from his residence on
1/5/
He reported to us that his goods were damaged due to insect infestation
We investigated his claim and determined the following:
In approximately years of operating the PortaBox storage system we have
never previously had a report of any insect problems in any of our
containers. The containers are stacked high and deep in climate
controlled warehouse. No other containers adjacent to this customer's
container had any sign of insect presence or damage
The customer reported he had stored rugs as part of his storage items
Our research shows rugs are a common source of insect infestations
Insects lay eggs in carpeting or rugs which can remain dormant for long
periods of time. If the rugs are not professionally cleaned and treated
prior to storage, they are often a source of insect problems. We believe
the customer's rugs contained insect larvae which hatched following his
one visit in October of 2012. The newly hatched insects used his goods as
a food source but quickly ran out of anything to consume and died inside
the container. No live insects were present in the container on 12/22/
nor was there any other evidence to suggest other possible scenarios
Regardless of whether this is specifically how the insects came to be in
the container, PortaBox carries no liability in this matter. Our contract
clearly states, "PortaBox Storage is not liable for any loss of, or damage
to, the goods from: (I) Perishables; (II) Customer's act or omission,
include failure to keep the promises made in this agreement; (III) defect
or inherent vice of the goods; (IV) Insects, moths, vermin, ordinary wear
and tear, or gradual deterioration". The customer was given an
opportunity to review these terms prior to signing the contract
As a final note, the customer was presented with valuation coverage
options at the time he rented the container. He chose the basic coverage
Even if there was any liability on our part, which there isn't, it would
be limited to cents per pound per article with a maximum value of $
per container. This is also clearly stipulated in the contract signed by
the customer
While we can understand and empathize with the customer's frustration at
the condition of his goods, we had no fault in how the goods were damaged,
nor liability for the condition of the goods

Dallas and Kevin were a well-practiced team. Prompt, fast, resourceful and competent. They listened to every instruction and carried out every one in full. A fast, efficient and great experience all around.

This company does an amazing job. Their work is great and they really communicate. I always knew what was happening and when. Their workers doing the packing and loading are first rate. I couldn't believe they had everything packed and loaded in only 4 hours.

I have used Hansen Bros twice now. Both times they did a wonderful job. Today Dallas and John B were great. Good attitude, hardworking and careful. Moving is not fun but they made it a much better experience.

All our questions, no matter how small, were answered quickly and accurately. The relationship was very positive. The crew did an efficient job. It was a big relief for a stressful time as we moved. Thank you!

My moving experience with Dave, John, Stephan and Daniel could not have been better. Dave provided useful suggestions for packing as I was doing my own packing. Very helpful and much appreciated. On moving day, John, Stephan and Daniel were easy to be around, professional and friendly. They worked tirelessly and efficiently to move me from my condo to storage. They carefully wrapped and packed fragile objects such as large mirrors. Most importantly they thoroughly packed and safely moved our piano. They are fabulous! I plan to hire them again when I move. The visit from Dave to set things up and get a bid was very helpful and thorough, and he put my mind at ease knowing everything would be taken care of. John B led the crew on packing and moving day, and I was glad he was there both days. I can't say enough about how professional, flexible, and courteous he was, along with being very understanding about the stress of moving. Everything arrived intact. They were careful with all my large art pieces, and but were also very fast and efficient, On moving day Daniel, Ray, Mike R, and Kevin S were the movers. They were amazing, careful with things, and flexible about where to put stuff (since I had two locations to move things to). Their cheerful and positive attitudes helped to make the day go smoothly. Start to finish this was hands down the smoothest part of our move. Our Sales Rep Brendan was so helpful and reassuring, he quoted us almost exactly what the move would cost and our movers Rick and Andy were both very professional and careful with our belongings. They covered doors and floors to avoid any damage to walls etc. They carefully placed furniture where we wanted it and were patient when I asked them to move things around because I didn't like the placement. This was a very good experience during a really stressful time. Thanks Hansen Bros. we highly recommend your services.

The moving crew worked extremely hard and efficient. Cory was the lead for team and was great to work with. Thank-you for such a drama free move.

We are over the moon with our service from Hansen Bros. Moving is so incredibly stressful, and in our case, we were undergoing a complete remodel of our house and needed to be out for 8 months and have all of our belongings stored. Hansen Bros. employees were incredibly helpful and understanding on the phone, and the guys who both moved our stuff out and then moved it back in were professional, careful, thorough, and kind. They also all maintained a great sense of humor throughout, which also made them fun to work with. Not one single item was damaged, much less broken. Thank you so much, Hansen Bros.!
