My Dad was in the moving business his entire career. He would always tell me to refer my Real Estate clients to Hansen Bros. Now that he has passed away, I still follow his advice and am seldom disappointed. The big snow storm of 2019 posed some serious challenges regarding my aunts move from *** to *** but once the move happened, the crew was great. Once again, moving during trying times (aka a pandemic) Hansen Bros were there for me and got me moved when I wasn’t sure it would happen. Special thanks to Sam, Jordan and Josh. Also Paula did a great job with her estimate. Thank you! *** Real Estate
Thanks for the kind words. It's good to be known as the movers mover. We appreciate it.
Such an easy and professional move and the movers were extremely fast and efficient. Super impressed and would highly recommend to others.
Thank you very much!
The team was fantastic. John ***, Dallas, and Mike R were on time, hustled, and were wonderful to work with. I've moved numerous times all over the country and these guys were the best I've ever had. Absolutely top notch.. Kudos to Hansen Bros for creating a great culture and service
We appreciate you taking the time to offer some feedback!
Found Hansen Bros thru *** which I’ve used before. I know of Hansen’s good local reputation, similar to ***’s. Hansen’s rep has been very knowledgeable and responsive. Their moving crew were careful and very efficient. Moving is not cheap but Hansen Bros provides good value.
Thanks for your positive review!
The movers were great. My husband had been ill and was not able to pack his office. The movers kindly ordered boxes from the main office and packed for him, even though they weren't expecting to do this. They were very patient and thoughtful. They put the furniture where I wanted it in the new place. I am so pleased with your service and will certainly recommend you to others.

Thanks for the positive feedback!
An absolute godsend during a very stressful time. Very personalized service and not a single item damaged. Pete was an exceptional communicator and very patient and flexible. Beth led the packing crew expertly and provided very helpful suggestions. In-laws were amazed how familiar their new place felt the first time they walked in the door. We truly think it helped them have a smooth adjustment. We can't thank you enough!!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback and kind words. It's our pleasure to service your transportation needs.
I was defrauded by the salesman, who committed to move me at a certain price, then told me that he made a mistake. He never bothered to look at what I was moving, so his quote was based on copying the information from a competitor's quote! Unfortunately, the it misread the competitor's quote and missed 14 crated items. Of course, he stated that he would have to revise his quote due to HIS own stupidity and negligence. My move was 13 days away, too late to find another mover. I WAS EXTORTED BY THIS COMPANY AT THE LAST MINUTE. I complained to the owner, Larry N who refused to take my phone call and did not return my messages. As a result, I will have to postpone my move for a week, and lose two first class plane tickets. In want them to be paid for by this SHADY company.
To Whom It May Concern:We regret the necessity for this response, however we are
happy to provide an explanation for what has transpired with this prospective consumer. On February 14th, the consumer contacted our
company requesting an estimate for a move to Florida. Our salesperson performed a complimentary in-person estimate on February
18th. During the estimate the
consumer spoke very disparagingly regarding a previous estimate she had received
from another moving company. At the
conclusion of our estimate, the consumer mentioned there was also off-site
storage to be included in the move. The
consumer stated she did not drive and would need our salesperson to drive her
to the off-site storage location in order for him to perform a visual estimate
of those items. Due to the length of
time the salesperson had spent conducting the initial estimate in the
consumer’s home and the scheduled time for his next appointment, he explained
he couldn’t do that. He said he would
have to schedule a revisit. The consumer
stated that the competitor salesperson had included the off-site storage items
on his estimate and the salesperson could use that information. The salesperson
explicitly confirmed with the consumer that the inventory of off-site storage
items (6 crates and some cartons) was accurate and agreed to use that
information in his estimate. The salesperson then created an estimate, including the list
of off-site storage items of 6 crates and some cartons from the competitor’s
inventory. There was a slight delay in sending the completed estimate to the
consumer as the salesperson had to solicit and wait to receive costs from a 3rd party crating company, and $500,000 in valuation coverage with special ***
*** authorization. He then provided the completed estimate to the
consumer on February 21st. The consumer
responded to the estimate with some requested changes to the valuation coverage
and stated she was also getting additional moving estimates from other
companies including ***.On February 24th, the salesperson received a message from
the 3rd party crating company requesting actual dimensions for the
crates being moved. The salesperson contacted consumer to ask if she had the
dimensions and she said she would find them and send them to our salesperson.
On February 24th, the consumer sent the salesperson the dimensions for 17
crates. The salesperson contacted the consumer to discuss that there were
only 6 crates identified previously on the competitor’s inventory and the
consumer stated that there were actually 20 crates in total. The
salesperson explained to the consumer that he would need to send an updated
request to the third party crating company for the additional 14 crates not included on the original estimate. During that conversation, the consumer
became overtly hostile and verbally abusive. The consumer then called both our Vice President of Sales
and our Corporation’s President around 6:45pm on Monday, February 24th and left distressed voicemail messages for each, as it was after business
hours. Our VP of Sales contacted the consumer at 8:15am on Tuesday, February 25th to listen to her concerns and to try to resolve the situation. The consumer was
highly hostile and verbally abusive and she hung up on him mid-call. He called
her back at 9:03am in an effort to continue the conversation but after
additional verbal assaults by the consumer, he ultimately clearly stated that,
based on her abusive behavior and level of unreasonableness, Hansen Bros. was,
unfortunately, refusing to service her move – the consumer proceeded to hang up
on him again. Our salesperson did provide an initial estimate to the
consumer, but never had the opportunity to present a revised copy with all of
the necessary crating. Neither the
initial estimate nor any additional paperwork was signed or returned by the
consumer. There was never any
contractual agreement or obligation and no services were rendered beyond the
complimentary in-person estimate appointment. Given the abusive behavior of the consumer, our VP of Sales clearly
explained we were declining to service her move. In addition, the consumer never paid anything
to our company. While we are sorry the situation presented itself, Hansen
Bros. did absolutely nothing wrong in regards to this consumer’s relocation
request. We are not responsible for the
consumer’s other expenses and deny any requests for reimbursement. You can see from our history and numerous positive Revdex.com
reviews, we operate a very transparent and professional service. Our 130 years of history speaks to those
qualities as well.If you have any further needs for information, please feel
free to contact us.

I am rejecting this response because it is provably false.
This company has responded in a dishonest and defamatory attempt to blame the Complainant for their own incompetence, and their statements are provably false. Their response is unprofessional and legally actionable.
Factually, and for the public record: The appointment scheduler and the salesman were both told, before the appointment, that there were two locations and to schedule enough time to survey both locations. When he arrived, the salesman briefly inventoried the home. He was offered the competitor's bid, and informed that the inventory list taken in the home was not accurate, as several items had been listed that did not actually exist. There was nothing further said by the Complainant to disparage their competitor. Obtaining several bids is a standard and well-advised practice when hiring a moving company for a cross-country move. The Respondent's statement that the Complainant had disparaged the prior surveyor is provably false, and was made by the Respondent, for the sole purpose of portraying the Complainant as an unreasonable, inflammatory individual and to defame her character.
After his brief survey of the Complainant's home, the salesman was offered the keys to the storage location, and asked to return them after his assessment of the contents. He refused to go to the storage locker, saying that he "had to be in Seattle by 2 PM". The time was 1:16 PM, as recorded by the Complainant's home surveillance recording. Two other movers had gone to the storage location, assessed the contents, and returned the keys - within 20 minutes, as the storage location is less than 5 minutes away. That the salesman did not have the time in his schedule to allow him to perform an accurate assessment demonstrates the Respondent's initial failure to perform the committed services, representing their initial breach of contract.
This salesman chose not to survey the storage unit, saying that he would "use the competitor's estimate instead". The Respondent committed to providing a moving estimate, based upon their own survey, representing a second breach of their contract. The salesman submitted a written contract, based upon his estimate of the Complainant's moving cost. This contract was accepted by the Complainant, who asked that a deductible be changed for her insurance coverage, and accepted the contract pending this change. The Respondent replied, stating that a Docusign would be sent for electronic signature. At that point, both parties had a written acceptance and Contractual Agreement of the services that the Respondent was to perform, and the price for which the Complainant was to be charged.
The Respondents breached this Agreement, and refused to provide services, when the salesman discovered that he had failed to copy the competitor's bid correctly, and indicated that he would "need to get another quote" from one of his subcontractors. When the Complainant refused to accept this Breach and attempted to contact the Sales Manager and the Owner, she received no response.
The following day, the sales manager called the Complainant, angrily defended his salesman, and stated "Do you think that he should have been late to his 2 PM appointment, just to accommodate you?". He then advised the Complainant to "call ***" and accused her of "not liking anybody". The Complainant disconnected the call at that point.
What followed next was a series of emails from the salesman stating that he did not understand the Complainant's "problem", as he had no intention of changing his quote. The salesman's entire visit was recorded on the Complainant's home surveillance system, transcripts of which are admissible. The Complainant responded that she did not trust the salesman, and that the owner needed to contact her with the name of a different employee to coordinate her move, and that Hansen would be held in Breach of Contract for refusing to perform moving services. This represents the Respondents' THIRD BREACH OF CONTRACT in this matter. The Respondent failed to respond, and the Complaint ant has retained counsel to recover her damages for nonrefundable plane tickets and issues related to her inability to perform time-sensitive contracts at her destination.THE RESPONDENTS BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT WITHIN 9 DAYS OF THEIR COMMITTED PACKING DATE.
This matter will be referred to counsel, as there are damages for breach, defamation and personal injury as a result of Respondents conduct that the Complaintant has suffered due to the direct and intentional actions of the Respondent.
I request that this case be registered as "UNSATISFIED" and be made a permanent public record of the Respondent's Revdex.com profile.
Sincerely,
***

Their movers were on time, worked with great precision and care and made the moving experience so much easier. Highly recommend!
Thanks for your positive feedback!
I was very impressed with Hansen Brothers. They showed up on time and all the workers were polite, hard-working and paid attention to detail. We mistakenly forgot a small refrigerator out in the garage and they came over and moved it for me a couple days later with no charge. That was great customer service.
Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
Best moving experience we ever had. Entire team professional and courteous. Will use again for any future moves.
Dallas and Chris did a great job moving my stuff and got me moved super fast! Great guys!
Thank you!
Mike, Chris, and Dallas were very professional and completed move safely and quickly. I was very impressed with their teamwork and overall it was an amazing experience. I used Hansen Bros. for my move 15 years ago as well and have had amazing service both times. I will recommend to anyone planning a move. Thank you! Happy New Year!
Thank you very much for leaving such positive feedback. We appreciate it.
Before selecting Hansen Bros. for our move, I interviewed and got quotes from three other services. From the beginning it was clear that Hansen Bros. was a cut above. Dave did a walk through and review of our property to assure he had an accurate count of all furnishings and small objects for which your company would be responsible. He was clear about the timeframe of availability for the move, and was open to modifications to our needs and moving dates as we moved toward our "drop dead" date for the move. Your Crew, the crew, the crew! I can't say enough about their expertise and professionalism. They were well coordinated, and a model of precision and team work. The foreman for the job, George, and the lead packer, Rico, were in constant communication with us to assure we were satisfied and that nothing had been missed in the packing or our expectations. From entering our home to meeting them at the storage facility to review how they stored our belongings, no one on your team/crew disappointed. Were your rates a little higher?? A bit, but worth every penny! Well done.
Spectacular service through some trying times, through this long-planned move, and unexpected death of my father. Deeply grateful. --
Thank you for your review and our deepest condolences for your loss.
We were moving across town and Hansen Bros were wonderful! We had a difficult driveway at our old house and they came out to see it prior to the move and to give us a quote. They were realistic and honest. On the day of the actual move they were prompt, efficient, and careful with our belongings. We were very impressed and would highly recommend them!
Thank you for your positive feedback!

Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage is amazing, stop here and look no further. I had the best experience with them.
Kevin - thank you for getting the quote done and all of the up front assistance in answering ALL of my questions in a professional manner!
Pete, Kyle, Corey, Jared, Beth and Luanne - I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work (Downsizing/Packing/Unpacking) and assistance in getting this move accomplished for my client, I seriously could not have done it without each one of you. You are an AMAZING team of hard working individuals and you should be so proud of yourselves!!! You definitely went ABOVE AND BEYOND and it did not go unnoticed. If I ever have to do this again, I would want your team backing me up hands down, no question.
Thanks again for all that you do, just remember it matters, you make a huge impact and each one of you is INCREDIBLE!!!
Thanks for taking the time for your review!
Hansen Bros made my move as painless as possible. The crew was professional, careful with my belongings, and efficient. I’ve used them three times in the past few years and have had an excellent experience every time.
Thank you for the positive review!
Hansen Brothers moved us from NW Washington to SE Washington. The move was fast and easy. The guys were friendly and helpful the entire time. They were so careful with my things and helpful in placing everything. I had used them before for a local move in the Everett area and am so glad I used them again for the 300+ mile across state move.
