I am rejecting this response because:
HRB was notified by the IRS in 2011 within days of my 2010 tax return being rejected.  HRB NEVER informed me of the rejection.  My2010 income taxes were NEVER properly filed by HRB as contracted.  HRB received my full payment for services to be rendered and none were rendered.  If HRB's final reason for not paying me ONLY the actual tax consequences incurred is that I did not reply to them within 60 days 3 years after I was informed by THE IRS and NOT HRB of HRB's failure to file my taxes as contracted 3 years earlier, then this is a truly criminal company.  I will not stop here and if HRB cannot own their EXTREME NEGLIGENCE and reimburse me for ONLY the remaining amount of their negligent mistake then I will take further action to receive further damages in a court of law.  I will also take this issue to the ** State Attorney General and all elected officials in state, local and US government.  I was a loyal customer of HRB for years prior to this egregious error and your treatment of a customer whom you have obviously harmed and wronged is appalling and shocking.  This is your last chance to correct your mistake and make good on only what you fairly, ethically, morally and legally owe me for your errors.

I am rejecting this response because:I opened the Complaint ID: [redacted] on: 2/24/2016 at 11:24 PM. HRBlock contacted me to try to find a solution but all of a sudden they went silent and no resolution has been offered. Revdex.com closed the case since they didn't hear from me after 14 days of idle activity but I was still waiting to hear from HRBLOCK. I am really trying to avoid legal action and try to work something out with HRBLOCK and settle this the easiest way possible for both sides. They also made me realize that they messed up my tax return not by $2,768.25 but by more than $5,000. I'm attaching the original complaint on a PDF file. Desired Outcome:Same as the original complaint.

began an investigation into her complaint. Our records reflect that on 2/25/2016 Ms. [redacted] was provided a Provisional Credit and on that same day those funds were withdrawn from an ATM. Please be advised that the ATM owner have until 3/25/2016 to contact our office and advise if whether the ATM balanced or not. Ms. [redacted] had to cut the call with him short, so he emailed her the contact information to his department for her to call (###-###-####) and activate the offer for the complimentary product as well as case number [redacted].We would like to encourage Ms. [redacted] to call back in for us to further assist. If she chooses not to contact us, we cannot further assist. As a result, we consider this matter resolved. directly with the client. As it relates to this situation, our records reflect that the office prepared an amended 2013 return at no charge to the client in order to correct the mistake that will allow the IRS to reimburse the clients for the tax liability along with the interest and penalties previously paid. As H&R Block is not at liberty to refund the full fees under the Maximum Refund Guarantee, which states that a claim can be made within the current tax year which was 2013, the client was offered a partial refund as a client service gesture. Revdex.com:Michelle From the H&R Block Advisors escalation office contacted me on the 24th and addressed the issues I have encountered. Currently the myblock website has some issues as my files are dispersed between 2 accounts. I was instructed by the cs technical department to set up a second account as the first account could not verify my id. Now the the second account as of the 24th has my ID verified but only has tax records from 2013 and 2015. The first account I was told holds rest of my previous years tax records, but as I am not able to verify my id for that account. Michelle has contacted online technical department to have those accounts and previous years tax records merged. I was told it may take a some time but that I will be contacted when finished, hopefully soon. Anacani has been helpful in pursuing with me an explanation as to my tax increase of 2016. As the increase I was told resulted from investments with my financial institution. Anacani and my Bank are currently investigating this as to specifically define what caused the tax increase. So to prevent such occurrences from occurring in future years.I appreciate being compensated the $20 for the copy of my 2015 taxes I needed to obtain. As well as being credited back half of my preparation fees. As this tax year was rather strange as was my initial and subsequent visit's to the [redacted] office. And Block phone support for both technical and tax issues took some time as well and are still being looked at. As I stated earlier Anacani has been helpful and Michelle has provided good assurance that my tax and myblock issues are nearing completion, she also spoke highly of Anacani. So I feel at this time accepting the business's response is the reasonable action to take.

In response to this matter, our investigation has determined that Ms. [redacted] complaint is against an independently owned and operated franchise office, which has the responsibility to resolve matters directly with your office and with the client.   H&R Block prepares millions of tax...

returns each year, and if we do make an error, we are committed to making the situation right.  It is H&R Block Franchisee, David Steven's belief that he has done so in this case by amending Ms. [redacted] tax return to accurately reflect the appropriate information as she was mistakenly recorded as an [redacted] resident. Mr. S[redacted] also corrected a typo on a prior year return and paid penalty and interest assessed for the error (explained below) and he offered a free return to be prepared for Ms. [redacted].   In 2016 Ms. [redacted] had another company discover a mistake with a typo on real estate tax deduction on one of her rentals. Ms. [redacted] informed Mr. S[redacted] of the errors and he corrected it, resulting in Ms. [redacted] having to pay $867 as a correction of the tax assessed for [redacted]. When Ms. [redacted] received the interest and penalty assessment from [redacted], it was mailed to Mr. S[redacted] who issued payment per the H&R Block Guarantee. At that time, Mr. S[redacted] states he also offered to prepare a return for free for the coming year, however, Ms. [redacted] informed him that it was already being done. All of these instances occurred within the same calendar year that the return was paid for.   Mr. S[redacted] believes he has assisted Ms. [redacted] to the fullest and at this time is declining her request for a refund of preparation fees, as all return matters brought to his attention were corrected and Ms. [redacted] declined the offer for a free return next season.   As a result, we consider this matter resolved. We assure you that we take the concerns of our clients seriously and make every effort to resolve matters thoroughly and fairly.   We respectfully ask the Revdex.com to close this case.
