We have reached out to[redacted] regarding his complaint and are working on resolving the complaint with the client. We will continue our contact with the client until both parties feel the complaint is completely resolved.[redacted] has a direct point of contact within our Consolidation Plus...

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/12/07) */
We have contacted Ms. [redacted] and obtained the documents necessary to resolve her account that is being collected by a law firm. In addition, Ms. [redacted] has a designated Advocate who will help her with any questions or concerns for the duration...

of her program.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/12/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Granted they have assigned a person to me which this person seems to be working on it however the whole issue about negotiation with this creditor and law firm are not competed or I have not gotten an update. I understand it may take time however if the VP of this company can agree they dropped the ball on my case and still nothing is completed and there is a date frame in which both the summons and myself have informed this company who is suppose to be representing me are not completed or updated. NO this issue is not resolved and I still awaiting confirmation on exactly what is being done before I have to appear in court
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/12/29) */
We have provided Ms. [redacted] an update on the negotiation status of the accounts she has enrolled in our program. We have also committed to following up with her weekly until she is satisfied with the progress. We will continue to make sure Ms. [redacted] is updated on all progress of her accounts while she is in our program and we are very sorry for any lack of communication. We understand it is a difficult time for our clients and we want to be their advocates while they are enrolled in our program.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 19, 2015/12/31) */
I was pleasantly surprised today with a follow up phone call about my main complaint which as far as I know has been under controlled and hopefully will not have any other problems. It's still unfortunate that I had to place a complain though here in order to get the attention my case required. When in fact all customers should get the attention needed especially since the costumers are paying for a service. I can say I am at least at ease with my original complaint and hopeful that they will continue to do follow up with me. I will still closely monitor my program and hold them accountable for any issues that may arise. I am very glad that they have given me personal contact information and have reassured me that they will continue to monitor my process closely. I can say I am hopeful again that this program will work for me as it did in the beginning when I first orginally signed up

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I still feel I am owed $369.50.  As I stated in previous correspondence, when I spoke with[redacted] on May 15, 2017 he stated that I would received a total refund of $775. I was refunded $386.50 which was only half of the funds left in my account after I terminated my account with Freedom Debt Relief.  Freedom Debt Relief stated I was given a direct contact should I have questions.  That contact was [redacted] who I spoke with on May 30, 2017.  [redacted] was very rude and unprofessional.  Every time I tried to talk, she talked across me.  At the end of our conversation, she did not give me a contact I could speak with if I had more questions.  So the statement made by Freedom Debt Relief that they provided me a contact person to speak with should I have questions, is not true.  In any event, it looks like Freedom Debit Relief is continuing to go against the contract procedures they provided me at the onset of my joining their program.  I only wish I had read the negative reviews regarding Freedom Debt Relief before I signed on with them.Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11509922, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/03/18) */
We are sorry that Ms. [redacted]'s request to terminate from the program was not processed in a timely manner. We have confirmed that her program has been canceled, her funds from her dedicated account with [redacted] have been...

returned and we have reimbursed her the fees that she was charged by her bank.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/03/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/05/21) */
We were able to negotiate a settlement for an enrolled account of Mr. [redacted]. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] missed 2 of his monthly program payments, and this in turn ended up making one of his settlement null and void. We understand that...

circumstances like this can happen, and we always work to renegotiate a settlement when it is broken, for no additional charge. That said, according to the terms of our agreement, our fee is earned upon the first settlement of the debt. Mr. [redacted] has decided to terminate from the program and as a courtesy, we have sent him a partial refund.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/16) */
We spoke with Mrs. [redacted] and she is pleased that we were able to connect with her and address her concerns. We have corrected Ms. McCullins completion packet and resent it to her. She has confirmed the receipt of the new completion...

packet.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
After being in the program for over 3 years it took a Revdex.com complaint to finally get a phone call (4 in one day) from this company. I was pleased with Mr. [redacted]'s review of my case and discovery that I was charged the wrong fees on the account that was actually settled. He immediately issued me a refund in the amount of almost $1000. I think it's unbelievable that an error of this magnitude was never discovered after my repeated concerns regarding settlement of the wrong account. Why I am pleased that I got MY money back I feel the company should have somehow compensated me for their error in the settlement of the wrong account (as I previously stated a difference in almost $4000 which I ended up having to pay due to pulling from the program due to their error). I did receive an email with the corrected spreadsheet, but have yet to receive my completion packet in the mail.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/12/07) */
We have contacted Ms. [redacted] and resent her graduation packet. This included a transaction history of her deposits while in our program. We also processed a partial refund of fees for Ms. [redacted]
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/12/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I still haven't received the packet. Also, the "fees" they refunded were fees that they should have never charged me and if it wasn't for this complaint I would have never got my money.

Ms. [redacted] was under the impression that one of her accounts was in a structured settlement when it was not. We are sorry for the confusion and we have offered Ms. [redacted] a partial refund to assist her in resolving this debt.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

We are making attempts to reach out to [redacted] to discuss her account and her complaint. We will continue to make attempts to reach the client in order to resolve her concerns.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/25) */
Ms. [redacted] signed up for our debt settlement program in June of 2015. Freedom Debt Relief does not charge any fees until we negotiate a settlement and in the time she was enrolled in our program we did not settle any account or charge her any...

fees. Ms. [redacted] is requesting that Freedom Debt Relief pays her $28,245.39, which is the total amount of one of her debts enrolled into our program. Ms. [redacted] received a settlement offer for this debt but did not have enough money in her dedicated account for us to accept the settlement offer. Per Ms. [redacted] request we have terminated her program and Crossroads Financial has sent her all of the funds from her dedicated account.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On September 11,2015, a representative called us in reference to an offer of $1400 of which we had $1604 in FDR's dedicated account. We were told the original offer date was September 9,2015. As one of your litigation representatives stated before, if we only had $300 in our account it would have been enough to negotiate a settlement. We called over and over again and was told by representatives they would have to put in a request to negotiate this account but FDR did not follow through with the offer made nor ever called us back in reference to it. Mr. [redacted] attempted to call me on November 16th and followed up with an email with a best time to call us back. On the 17th, another email apologizing for not calling. On the 19th a representative called to apologize for
Mr. [redacted] Mr [redacted] called 4 days later apologized for our outcome, he requested the breakdown of the account which I faxed it to him. I called to ask if it was received and left a message because I didn't get an answer. On November 25,2015 the same representative called to apologize for Mr [redacted] again because he has not called us back. The representative stated he has reviewed our account and can only offer $1000. This is not acceptable. FDR is responsible for the additional $8020.72 of fees that we have incurred because they did not do their job.
Our account fell through the cracks and as you've witnessed terrible customer service. Someone should have followed
through with the settlement offer and they didn't. Once we received our funds this account was settled for half of what was in our dedicated account. They just didn't do their job and we feel they should pay if not half of the balance, all of the additional fees of $8,020.72.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/01/25) */
Mrs. [redacted] has been offered a partial refund and stated she would contact us by the end of this week to accept the offer or not.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2016/02/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I have not heard from a representative from the Freedom Financial network. Sincerely,[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/12/02) */
Mr. [redacted] joined our debt settlement program in October of 2013. His program was estimated to take 36 months to complete, which is explained in his contract as only an estimated time frame. The settlement for Mr. [redacted]'s Discover account was...

authorized by him on 8/25/2015. Per Mr. [redacted] request, we have offered him a partial refund of $787.00 and we will continue to negotiate settlements for the rest of his enrolled accounts. Mr. [redacted] would like to be completed from our program by 10/2016, and we will do our best to hit this goal. But, with the information we have now, he will likely need to increase his monthly deposit to hit this date.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I have asked to quit calling me about settlements and I still have been getting called daily...

although I was supposed to be unenrolled. I received two unwanted calls today. I am short on my mortgage for this month due to them withdrawing money after I was supposed to be taken out of their program.Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for your assistance. I have heard from their point of contact and look forward to a prompt resolution.

We have reached out to[redacted] to resolve her complaint and had a thorough discussion regarding the account, structured settlements and settlement fees with her. We have provided requested documentation to [redacted] so that she can reference that information at any time. Additionally, we have...

provided [redacted] with a direct point of contact should she have any further questions or concerns regarding her account.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/04) */
We received an email request from Ms. [redacted] to terminate from our program. After attempting to reach Ms. [redacted] 3 times, we terminated her from the program on 8/21/2015
this caused her settlements with Bank of America and Discover cards to...

become null and void. On August 24th, the client advised their intent was not to terminate, and we reinstated them. Ms. [redacted] wanted us to make sure her 2 voided settlements would be reinstated at the original agreed settlement. We were able to arrange this request with one of her accounts. We recently have a new settlement with Discover and as a courtesy we have refunded Ms. [redacted] the difference of the first settlement to the second settlement.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not ask to be terminated from the program, I asked for one account to be terminated. Freedom has already acknowledged that this was their error. They have made no new settlement with Discover. They made one with a different account, but there was no courtesy anything involved. Their response is filled with misinformation. In the meantime, they have my money and have charged me fees for an account they blundered.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/12/18) */
Ms. [redacted] had 2 accounts in the program for us to complete. One of the accounts has been settled and the second one is currently being negotiated for a settlement. We anticipate that there will be a settlement before the end of this month. Once that account has been resolved, Ms. [redacted] will be completed from the program. Ms. [redacted] does not owe any more fees to Freedom Debt Relief and a full transaction history has been provided to her.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 14, 2015/12/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They appear to be fulfilling their obligation to settle both accounts for the money I gave them to do so, as instructed by their representative.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/05/21) */
Mr. [redacted] was only enrolled in our program for 3 months before he decided to terminate from the program. Freedom Debt Relief only charges fees for accounts that have been successfully negotiated and approved by our clients. When Mr. [redacted]...

terminated from the program, we had negotiated 2 settlements for him and had scheduled to collect the fees for these 2 accounts, according to the terms of the client agreement. Mr. [redacted] was not happy about the fees, and as a courtesy, we have provided him a partial refund of his fees.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2015/05/26) */
The company has contacted me and promised to resolve the issue. Please suspend my complaint for now. Thank you for your assistance!

We have reached out to[redacted] regarding his complaint and provided a resolution that both parties find agreeable. Should[redacted] have any future questions or concerns, he has been provided with a direct point of contact.
