I spoke with Mr [redacted] on 7/25/17, I then closed his collection account with A.R.Mand cleared any outstanding balance on his account with the Star Telegram
Ms***, I apologize for the confusion on your account Per our conversation, it appears that whomever moved into your old address started the newspaper, the name was not updated on the account, the new resident did not pay for there subscription which led to the final billing.I have clear the outstanding balance from the account and removed your name & phone number for your previous address so this doesn't happen again
We have adjusted the customers account and she will not expire until July 6, Advised her if she has any other problems to give us a call in the Fort Worth office
We are working on this matter now
Mr [redacted] , There are residents who enjoy reading the Star Telegram Express in your subdivision, so we are unable to stop all deliveries.Our distribution manager has spoken with our distributor about delivering the Star Telegram Express in Liberty Crossings and have agreed to instruct the carriers NOT to deliver a paper if they see two copies on the premises which haven't be picked up and to make sure all papers are not delivered into the street Thanks***

Since they have no legal requirement to act on anything communicated by telephone anything less than written communications is smoke in the wind. Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Revdex.com File # [redacted] UPDATE On August Star-Telegram responded to Revdex.com that "The refund is being processed" I still did not have the refund on August 23, so I called Star-Telegram for the status of my refund I spoke to *** She told me that the refund of $had been credited to our MASTERCARD I told her we do NOT have a MASTERCARD I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told they were busy [redacted] promised that a supervisor would call me back by then end of the day No one ever called August 24, I called Star Telegram again and spoke to representative [redacted] [redacted] informed me that the credit of $was processed to a MASTERCARD on AUGUST I told her we do NOT have a MASTERCARD, I also told her that when Revdex.com contacted Star-Telegram on AUGUST 17, their response was that the refund was being processed I asked [redacted] if I could speak to a supervisor, but evidently a supervisor would not talk to me [redacted] came back on the phone and told me that I was correct that I had paid by check and that I never paid with a MASTERCARD She said they would escalate this, that they needed to find out about the credit they issued on a MASTERCARD, and that she would call me back I asked her when I could expect to hear fro her and she said Sunday I am so frustrated [redacted]

I have called the customer a number of times and no answer
The collection agent has been contacted and it will not effect your credit
TST did call me back and assure me that they would stop delivery immediately, which I appreciate However, I have received such assurances in the past and have no evidence that any attempt has been made to keep their promises In fact, all previous evidence demonstrates their casual disregard of my concernsAlso, no commitment was given to reimbursing my disposal fees I will not close this complaint until the initial two requirements are met: Delivery stopped to my address forever (I'm willing to establish a trend over the next six months and use that in good faith) Payment in full of the money they owe me for disposal of the litter they deposited on my propertyI have given TST everyopportunity to resolve this matter on their own over a couple of years, and this outcome has always been in their control And I do not think my desire to not have their paper thrown on my property is an unreasonable request Because they forced me to this point, I will accept nothing less then 100% [redacted]
This is a valid debt, but we will go ahead and write the balance off this one time only. Have called customer and advised.
Ms [redacted] account with the Star-Telegram was son automatic payment On 5/30/her automatic payment was declinedThis caused her account to become a billed account, an invoice was sent on 6/1/ Her subscription was automatically cancelled on 8/19/for non-payment The collection department called her in attempt to collect payment on her account.Ms [redacted] called the Star-Telegram and made a payment on 8/30/17, prior to that I do not see where she contacted the Star-Telegram to cancel her accountHer payment has posted to her account and cleared the outstanding balance The collection calls have stopped Thanks***
Ms. ***, I apologize that your original refund was not the correct amount. We will send you a refund of then additional $45.

I left Mr*** a message on 07/25, informing Mr*** that I would clear any outstanding balance with the Star Telegram and contact the collection company and have him removed from collections efforts
