Forward
Movement Recovery (“FMR”) has received the above complaint and appreciates the
opportunity to respond in kind
FMR
was attempting to locate a consumer with the same name as Ms***. In our skip-tracing efforts, we take great
care to follow federal law and treat all
consumers with respect. We appreciate Ms*** brining her
bankruptcy to our attention and will make sure it is noted and she is not
contacted again
We reviewed the
remainder of the complaint with our representative that spoke with Ms***
and, while we disagree with her interpretation of what took place, we have
placed a note in the representative’s folder and have sent him back for
re-training. We sincerely apologize for
any lack of professionalism Ms*** may have experienced
We are not sure how else
we can assist Ms***, but we assure that FMR will not contact her again
Please
contact the undersigned if we can be of any additional help in this matter
Sincerely,
Nick W

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to mePlease pass the message to Nick that apology is accepted as I had thought the representative hung up on me when I was trying to get the information about the creditor in which my name was used for a loanI haven't applied for credit (other than a car loan just recently) in a very long time, so it was a concern to me to be made aware that I have a debt I did not apply forI thank you all for your timeRegards, *** ***
Dear Ms***, FMR would like to apologize for any inconvenienceWe have tools in place that exclude any consumers who are in bankruptcy from collection effortsApparently the system failed in this instanceThe account has been closed under bankruptcy and there will be no further collection
efforts. Regards, Nick W
Dear Ms***, FMR is well within their legal rights to contact other individuals regarding location information if we do not have a confirmed number direct to youThe matter was placed with our office to inform you of a personal business matterIt is not our responsibility to figure out why another company would be contacting youYou do not even know why we were contacting you because again, you hung up on the representatve before they could even verify who they were speaking withYes, slander, wich is defamation based on an untruthNot one person that is employed by FMR would ever threaten anything such as you statedThe matter that we were contracted to handle has been closed and returnedYou will not hear from our office againNick W
