Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Experian claims that I knowingly enrolled in its 'service', which is not the case.  Said differently, without my knowledge I was enrolled in a monthly 'service' by Experian while accessing my right to a free credit report.  I strongly believe that Experian employs a deceptive business practice when a consumer attempts to pull his/her credit report by obfuscating the fact that they sign the customer up for a 'service' without the customer's knowledge.  Furthermore, I have no record of ever receiving correspondence from them [email or otherwise], indicating that I signed up for the service in question, nor have I any record of received any correspondence from them alerting me to the fact that I was being charged for this service.  I believe that their business model intends on deceptively enrolling consumers and then never communicating with those consumers going forward in an ongoing or clear way to explain that the consumer has and is being charged for the service in question.  Lastly, a simple [redacted] reveals that I am not alone in falling victim to this scam...as this [redacted] reports that more than 11,000 others have as well.[redacted] I am seeking a full refund for the fees deceptively charged to my credit card without my knowledge.

[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The fact that this business which monitors credit reports allows a person with a completely different name than the card holder to open an account - complimentary or otherwise is deplorable.  A female with a completely different name is allowed to open an account using an obviously unrelated person's credit card simply allows the perpetuation of credit card fraud.  The very thing they pride themselves on exposing!

The fact that this company protects the criminal make their actions incriminating and they should voluntarily give the information to the police.
They only provided the female's first name [redacted] and last name initial **  The commonality of the name leaves it almost impossible to deduce who the thief was.

The fact that their response to the Revdex.com is answered with lies further implicates this company.  Their supervisor [redacted] clearly told me that the account was cancelled but the previous charges would have to be refuted through my credit card company.  The refund was issued 5 business days later and not until the Revdex.com complaint was received. Disregarding the truth in order to present a better image is outrageous.

Only when they give the information to the authorities and see that this person is held accountable will their response be acceptable.

Regards,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I clearly stated in my complaint that I attempted to view my Experian credit report via annualcreditreport.com and yet the response from the Business is that I should go to that website to get my free credit report.
In the response, they state that they are NOT the same as the credit bureau. So does this mean that they only provide tools to customers who want to view their own credit score and report? When a bank pulls my credit from a loan, is this the same group that provides my credit information to the bank or does it go directly to the bureau?
If they are not the same as the actual bureau, why isn't this distinction clearly stated on their website? If they are going by the name Experian.com, I am under the impression that I am contacting the actual credit bureau Experian.
Also, they state that their job is to provide me with a tool to view my credit, but I am unable to use this tool because it states that it can't verify my identity. They have not giving me an answer as to why it's failing to verify my identity. They also did not answer the question that I had regarding a potential lender who wants to view my credit. If I can't access my report, does that mean that any potential lender also can not view my report? If so, this means that I could be denied credit.
In short, their response did not address my concerns.
Regards,
