On that same day, you agreed to maintain the membership in response to our retention efforts, in this case, a 50% discount of the monthly billing fee. The credit card provided was charged our monthly fee of $14.97 on or about the 8th of each subsequent month. Based on your complaint, we have issued and additional refund of $14.97 on April 10, 2015 and cancelled the membership. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I did in fact receive a refund from my credit card company and do not expect Experian to pay that amount again, obviously, since I received my money. However, I do think what they are doing and advertising on their website is misleading to consumers and should continued to be reviewed. I stand by my original complaint which was about the incredibly misleading way in which Experian tricks people into buying services they don't want. I think the Revdex.com should consider reviewing these standards to better protect the consumer. Thank you for all of your help on this issue.

Our records indicate that Jerry Fetters enrolled with CreditScore.comTM on April 11, 2014, utilizing a Visa card with the last four digits [redacted]. Since the membership was not cancelled in accordance with the published terms of our offer, the card provided was charged our monthly membership fee on May 11, 2014 and on the 11th of each subsequent month for the duration of the membership.
Additionally, our records show that you contacted CIC on October 5, 2014, and stated that you are the holder of the Visa card followed by a request to cancel the membership. In response, CIC cancelled the membership. At the time of cancellation, a one month courtesy refund was issued for $9.95. It is important to note that our products are intended and designed only for individual consumers to check their own credit reports, not to obtain credit reports about or on behalf of other people. Whether or not you have their permission to access someone else’s credit history, to do so through our products is not permitted under our terms and conditions.
