warrantyI've never heard of a one year warranty on a brand new houseI will be looking into this and responding back to you shortlyThis was not discussed during the selling of the houseI was under the impression the the house came with a year warranty from the date of purchaseI've been having issues with the house and the warranty every since I bought the house in which I expressed my concerns with the representatives on several occasions.

This response is the the one I received from the local manager and is the reason for contacting the Revdex.comI didn't need a duplicate! My yard does not in my opinion represent the neighborhoodThey don't live here, I doIf the patio was installed correctly, which it wasn't, and they acknowledged by replacing it, the grading of the yard wouldn't be as severe as it isI want done what I was told would be done back in December I have sent an e-mail to the regional manager, *** *** and he doesn't have the decency to respondThis is the type of company they areNO COMMUNICATIONNumber one builder??? Again, work is done and things are reviewed without the homeowner presenti can scrape my shoe over the area and material will come off of the concreteWhen I take a leaf blower and remove grass clippings in that area, dust flies everywhereEverybody who comes to our house asks what is wrong with your driveway and they tell us it looks terrible. I asked about the pressure washing because other areas are suspectNot sure how the pressure washing was done but if I can remove material with my shoe then pressure washing would remove materialThe joint in the concrete is almost completely gone!!! That is not abloss of surface material? Request Warranty Manager to set appointment to view the issue in person with me.

Per Allstate Electric's email to D.RHorton: The electrician checked the voltages, and took an amp load reading of amps on a amp circuitThis was on 1/3/17. Many steam cleaning units draw between to amps(much like a vacuum cleaner), and it is not unusual for these units to overload the circuit and therefore cause the breaker to tripThis may well be what happened in this particular instanceThere is a bathroom receptacle upstairs which is on a amp circuitPlugging the steam cleaning unit into this outlet could alleviate the overload

While D.RHorton acknowledges and understands Mr*** concerns, D.RHorton follows the requirements of California law with respect to all of our homeowners. Under California law, a homeowner has years from when the home first closes escrow to bring a construction claim against the builder. As I noted in my letter yesterday, Mr*** home closed escrow on June 29, 2003. Mr*** submitted his closet door claim to D.R. Horton in late December 2015. As Mr*** claim was made twelve and a half years after the home first closed escrow, D.RHorton respectfully had to decline his service request. I am rejecting this response because: WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD ABOUT MAINTAINING OUR HOME/ IN FACT OFTEN GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND MAINTENANCE BUT LIKE I HAVE SAID THIS IS A STRUCTURAL DEFECT THAT WAS NOT READILY VISUALIZED AS DOUBLE GARAGE DOOR HEADER WAS WRAPPED IN ALUMINUM AND UNDER THE VINYL SIDDING . IT WAS ONLY DURING US POWER WASHING HOME THIS MARCH THAT WE NOTICED HEADER SWAYING AS IT HAD ROTTED OUT AFTER BEING INCASED IN A WATER LEAK WHERE WATER HAD LEAKED UNDER ALUMINUM WRAP AND VINYL SIDDING OVER MULTIPLE YEARS AND HEADER LITERALLY ROTTED...AND THIS PROCESS DOES NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT BUT OVER MULTIPLE YEARS AND AS I HAVE PREVIOUSLY STATED THIS HAS NOT ONLY HAPPENED TO OUR HOUSE BUT TO OTHER DRHORTON HOUSES IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. SO I KNOW DRHORTON MUST BE MORE THAN AWARE OF THIS STRUCTURAL DEFICIT BUT CHOOSES NOT TO ADMIT TO IT AND THEREFORE THEY ARE NOT THE REPUTABLE BUILDER THEY PROFESS TO BE
