Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
If in fact the business does issue credit for $87.75 that has been paid as indicated.  I will glad pay for equipment return but not for something I don't owe.
Sincerely,

Dear Ms. [redacted]:
On December 22, 2015, we received your complaint, dated December 20, 2015, filed with the Revdex.com.
I unsuccessfully...

attempted to contact you at ###-###-#### on December 22, 23 and 28, 2015, and I left three messages.
You maintain that you never ordered Showtime and you requested a full refund of $280.00. You mentioned that you were already provided with a $184.00 account credit.
A review of this account reveals that on May 17, 2015, you enrolled in a promotion for Showtime for half price for six months. Once it expired, you never removed and you began to be billed at the regular rate. As an exception, I provided your account with an additional $100.00 credit to honor your request.
If there are further questions or concerns about this issue, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.

[redacted]   Dear Mr. [redacted]:   On March 30, 2017, we received your complaint, dated March 29, 2017, filed with the Revdex.com.   You maintain that you did not give DISH Network permission to install the satellite equipment on your property at [redacted]. You indicated that it should be DISH Network’s responsibility to request landlord permission before installing a satellite dish.    When I spoke with you by telephone today, I advised you that this address had DISH Network service from March 24, 2013, to March 25, 2015. Also, as DISH Network does not require the return of the dish, we do not de-install it.  If you would like the dish removed from your home, the starting cost of a de-installation is $99.00. You may also refer to a local retailer for de-installation costs.   We have no record of a recent account at that address. It is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that they are in compliance with their lease.   If this property is now a rental, this is a tenant/landlord dispute.   If there are further questions or concerns about this issue, please feel free to contact me at [redacted].   Sincerely,       [redacted] Phone Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm MDT [redacted]   cc:           [redacted] [redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted]:
On July 27, 2015, we received your complaint, dated August 24, 2015, filed with the...

Revdex.com.
You expressed concern with the limited data and usage with the internet service. You requested a daily usage chart.
When I spoke with you by telephone today, I informed you that we only provide broadband internet (satellite) in your area. Please be advised that the Fair Access Policy and Data Allowance Policy were designed to ensure that all customers have equal access to the network. These policies limit the amount of data that a customer may send and receive using the internet service in a 30-day period before speeds are slowed. Each service package has its usage thresholds for uploading and downloading within a 30-day period.
Common causes of high usage include the following:
Downloading or streaming media (movies, TV, music, video conferencing)
Using download or streaming services (YouTube, HBO Go, etc.)
Unsecured wireless router
Smartphone/tablet using wireless connection
There are different reasons that the internet speed would decrease. It would depend on the time of day and local traffic as well as the actual usage location.
You may log onto your online account to check your daily usage. We do not have the option to individualize usage.
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer DSL internet in your area. I provided you with five free GB for this month and I will release you from the 24-month commitment and early termination fee. Please contact me directly if you choose to disconnect the service.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/09/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I spoke with [redacted] & she was very friendly & helpful. After the conversation was over I can't help but to get the feeling that Dish personnel are in dire need of additional training & Dish as a whole needs system upgrades. I find it very hard to believe that they can charge you for a service that they can neither prove, justify or specify. All they can do is speculate what happened to my data. All I ask is prove it. Can you imagine going to the grocery store & picking up a few items & the check out clerk charging you $500.00. Well I'm sorry Sir that's what the computer says you owe. You have to watch out when you buy various large ticket items. But I didn't buy any of these items. Can you show me why you think I owe $500.00? No sir it's in the computer & I don't have access to that information. This is basically that Dish is doing & in lieu of their oversight I think it is only fair that they are willing to release me from my 2 year contract & termination fees with the understanding that once I have a replacement service in place I will call [redacted] back & Dish will at that time terminate my service.
Thanks,
[redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted]:
On August 19, 2015, we received your complaint, dated August 18, 2015, filed...

with the Revdex.com.
You requested to have a credit of $311.07 applied to your DISH Network account.
I attempted to reach you at (XXX) XXX-XXXX on August 20, 21 and 24, 2015, and I left three voicemails.
In my last message, I advised you that our Bankruptcy Team adjusted your balance due at the time that your bankruptcy was filed. You received two $78.20 credits in July 2014, which more than covered your balance due at the time. As such, we are not able to apply further adjustments for this issue.
Please note, a review of your billing reveals that although we have received no payment since May 26, 2014, no late fees have applied to your account.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have been trying to resolve this since July of 2014 and have sent certified letters and received no response from the company...they have customer service reps and supervisors who say they are giving a credit but it never happened nothing was credited to the account because they charged the same amount they say was a credit so it was a wash out.....Dish is a rip off as I have seen from the numerous complaints on this site alone...They might as well give a credit for the balance because they will not get any money from me ever again. If Dave contacted me on the above dates he did not let any messages I would have certainly called him back so he is a liar

Dear Ms. [redacted]:
On September 11, 2015, we received your complaint, dated September 7, 2015, filed with the Revdex.com.
You indicated that a credit was applied to your account but you were then charged the same amount. You also maintain that you were offered additional adjustments that you did not receive, and that I did not leave you any voicemails.
On August 25, 2015, I responded to the voicemail you left me in response to my previous messages. I was unable to reach you and I left you a fourth voicemail advising you that we have no record of any offers for additional adjustments beyond what you received from our bankruptcy department.
Please note that you received 16 months of service without making a single payment. As you indicated in your voicemail that the service was in use the entire time, we request that your balance of $1,075.55 be paid.

[redacted]   Dear Ms. [redacted]:   On April 14, 2016, we received your correspondence, dated April 13, 2016, filed with the Revdex.com.   You stated that when you purchased your DISH Network from Infinity Sales Group, an independent retail service provider, you requested no contract as you had concerns with moving your service. However, you were assured that we could move your service and/or work with you if you were unable to retain it. You recently requested that your account be disconnected and you were informed that the early termination fee would be enforced. Additionally, you expressed concern regarding the signature obtained on the contract when the service was installed. You requested that your account be disconnected on April 30, 2016, without an early termination fee.   When we spoke today, I explained that your sales call was reviewed and your claims regarding your contract were confirmed. I agreed to waive your early termination fee as a courtesy and I scheduled your service disconnection for April 30, 2016. You accepted this resolution.   If there are further questions or concerns about this issue, please feel free to contact me at [redacted].   Sincerely,       [redacted] Dispute Resolution Specialist Executive Escalations Team DISH Network, L.L.C. June 30, 2016       Mr. [redacted]   Re:          Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted]                 [redacted]   Dear Mr....

[redacted]:   On June 29, 2016, we received your correspondence, dated June 28, 2016, filed with the Revdex.com.   You said you authorized your daughter, Ms. [redacted], to use your credit card account to pay her DISH Network bill in March 2016.  You disputed the payments that were collected after this date and you requested a refund.   When we spoke today, I informed you that the credit card ending in 4861 remained on the account after the payment was made in March 2016. Please note the credit card account in question was not set up for automatic payment. The payments collected were processed per the customer’s request through the automated phone system or through agents over the phone.   I removed the credit card account ending in [redacted] from your daughter’s account. Since the payments were authorized by the DISH Network account holder, your refund request cannot be honored. Dear Ms. [redacted]:
On November 4, 2015, we received your complaint, dated November 3, 2015, filed...

You disputed the 24-month commitment associated with your DISH Network account. You stated that you were provided incorrect information concerning downloading movies and internet service.
I attempted to reach you at (XXX) XXX-XXXX November 5, 6 and 11, 2015, and I left three voicemails.

[redacted]   Dear Ms. [redacted]:   On August 17, 2017, we received your complaint, dated August 16, 2017, filed with the Revdex.com.   I unsuccessfully attempted to contact you at [redacted] on March 1, 11 and 13, 2017, and I left three messages. I also sent an email to [redacted] with a request to contact me.   You expressed concern that you were unable to schedule a technician visit for the following day when you began to experience technical issues, and with the customer service you received because you were unable to escalate the call any further.   Please note that our technician schedules are set according to availability. The date you were provided was the first one available. You accepted a time-without-service credit ($23.50) on August 30, 2017, for the inconvenience.   Please note, the Office of the President was designed to handle the highest escalation levels. Since your call was late in the evening (9:36pm EST), the installation office in your area was already closed.   Our records reveal that a technician visit was completed on August 20, 2017. The technician indicated that you have a line-of-sight issue due to a tree obstructing it. You requested a second opinion.   A second technician visit was performed by a Field Service Manager and he confirmed that you do not have a clear line of sight due to the obstruction of a tree and a building. He recommended that you either suspend your service or disconnect it. Please contact me at the phone number below with instructions on how you would like to proceed.   We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.   If there are further questions or concerns about this issue, please feel free to contact me at [redacted].   Sincerely,     [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Dish network is giving me the options to pay for the rest of the contract either by canceling and paying for the reminder of the year without the service or to pay for the rest of the year with the horrible package, so either way the only one who looses is me, we are not gonna reach an agreement at this point, again is a horrible company and I regret ever considering them for service and will tell everyone I know about my horrible experience with them.

February 5, 2016 Ms. [redacted]  [redacted] Re:          Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted]                 8[redacted]###-###-####463 Dear Ms....

[redacted]: On February 4, 2016, we received your correspondence, dated February 3, 2016, filed with the Revdex.com. You said that DISH Network refuses to honor the referral promotion for you to receive an Xbox and you requested to cancel your service without penalty. You also disputed the signature on your Digital Home Advantage (DHA) agreement. Our records show that you spoke with Ms. [redacted]i, a DISH Network Dispute Resolution Specialist, on January 30, 2016. She advised you that we are unable to honor the Xbox, as one of your referred customers did not activate their service on or before the December 31, 2015, promotion deadline. However, you will receive three monthly $5.00 referral credits for ten months. In addition, on this same date a one-time courtesy credit of $169.58 was applied to your account, which covers the amount due for service rendered through March 7, 2016. You established your service under the DHA contractual agreement with a 24-month commitment on June 8, 2015. A copy of the signed document was sent to [redacted]. Because you agreed to the term commitment, we provided you with free equipment and a free installation. You also received a $35.00 monthly discount and a $5.00 Seasonal Sale discount for 12 months along with the HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz and Blockbuster @Home channels free for three months and the Protection Plan free for six months. When we spoke today, I advised you that the signature on your DHA agreement was collected on an electronic pad during the installation of service. As the stylus or finger swipe may track slower than expected, your signature may look distorted. Since you maintain you did not agree to the terms, I offered to waive the early termination fee; however, this action will result in the $35.00 monthly promotional credits being removed from your account. Although we would like to accept her proposal of 50 GB for $59.99 I have requested that we receive confirmation in writing. Dear Ms. [redacted]:
On November 10, 2015, we received your complaint, dated November 6,...

2015, filed with the Revdex.com.
You indicated that you filed a damage claim when you experienced a power outage after the DISH Network service was installed, and you have not received any follow-up.
I forwarded this to the Corporate Field Resolutions Department and they informed me that the installation office has denied your claim. They found that it was a standard installation and it was not the cause of the damage. I have enclosed a copy of the denial letter.
However, as we do not have a Digital Home Advantage 24-month agreement on file for you, I removed the commitment and you will not be charged an early termination fee. Although your service is currently on DISH Pause, you will not be charged an early termination fee when you disconnect the service in May 2016.

After what I have been through for the last 7 month the DISH network will never receive my business again and I will let other individuals know that ask what I have been through and what still needs to be done that DISH denies but is clearly evident at my seasonal residence that there is damage that needs to be repaired and they refuse to do so.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The complaint manager [redacted] stated I was going to get some discounted services and that I would not have to enter another two year contract. The serviceman came out did the work and stated I needed to sign that the work had been done. Then I was emailed my new two year contract that I am legally bound to. Both documents are attached.
