For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.We have NOT received the $overdraft refund as of 1/15/15. I called and asked about it and we were told a paper check was mailed on December 31, 2014. I was also informed that we would not be able to have replacement check sent until days after the initial check was cut and if it had not been cashed. To insinuate that the matter is resolved is hardly the truthSecondly, if the statement regarding "card sent directly to customer" is suggesting that we didn't have to pay $to receive said gift card, that would be incorrect as well - see document attached. The exception would be if ANOTHER $gift card has been requested and we were not made aware - in which case - that would be wonderful, but very doubtful that this is the case. While, I am thankful that the $has been refunded back to my account - the issue still remains that I had to fight for weeks and send document after document after document to PROVE that the company made a huge mistake. Their good-will token was a gift card that I had to pay to receive. Here are my concerns:1) What actions are being implemented by the company to prevent this from happening to someone else?2) What SOP revisions are being made to allow for customer to receive money is a timely fashion when it was taken from them - to weeks is a ridiculous and unnecessary turn around time. 3) What advertising revisions are being made to make the customer aware that their $gift card is going to cost them $to receive it - because I ASSURE you, it is no way shape form or fashion verbally communicated.4) Where are the customer service ethics and values? Request to speak with management is refused - you merely get a lead. They take your money and make you perform a horse and pony show to get it back. How much is your time worth? Perhaps, I should calculate up my time on hold, printing copies, faxing paperwork, arguing with customer service reps and send a bill for my time. It has been made CLEAR that my time is of no value or importance, only taking my money. It is quite possible that I will never be satisfied with the outcome of this complaint - Protect Your Home claims it is resolved and yet, it still remain open, with me being owed money and left holding the bag. I am SO thankful that I can say that my personal business has never had a Revdex.com complaint and it's been in business for years. Regards,*** ***

I had to close that account to prevent any further charges to us and have so advised Kevin Allsabrooks who is going back to accounting as of 3/2/to have them issue us a *** since they cannot reverse a charge on an account already closed. As we advised Kevin, we told him that that account was closed when he called with the settlement option. Upon receipt of the funds we will accept their settlement.

Have they been stolen by their employees?I ask that they please locate the remaining documents and respond with why I was asked to submit Sensitive documents if they didn't believe the refund should have appeared in my account, as they insinuated that it had.Thank you!

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not accept this responseThe company I was assumingly doing business with was ADT and not PROTECT YOUR HOMEOnce it was realized, after the installation, that a third party was being used and ADT DID NOT disclose this information, I decided to look at other companies for home securityThe representatives at Defender were told I did not appreciate the nondisclosures and misinformed informationThey were warned that another company was being looked at by meThey offered MY WIFE, who is not on the account, so called "perks" in order to stay with themShe was unable to talk with me until after the fact due to me working during her phone conversationsI do not feel I was correctly informed, and did not receive what has been stated regarding an additional motion detector or a smoke alarmDefender was going to have me pay $for exterior camera's, thankfully I did not, and found out shortly after the offer of gift card that this company did not even install exterior camerasThere was already one motion detector installed and there was no statement agreed about a smoke alarmThe phone conversations are not being listened to by DefenderI am wanting my account closed without penalty fees and someone to pick up the little amount of equipment that was partially installedI am not interested in being part of Defender's customer baseThey were notified prior to me finding out that my system was placed on "Test Mode" the entire week without my knowledge or authorizationI want to have this resolved soon and my credit report cleared of Defender's so called debt.

We have researched into Mr***’s complaint and located his account. Our records show we installed an alarm system for him on May 24, 2014. The sales record shows they did offer a Wireless Touchpad (a $value) OR an exterior camera (a $value) and we installed the WL Touchpad for Mr***
I did call and speak with Mr. *** today. I explained the sales offer and Mr. *** stated he might have misunderstood the offer. However, I did offer to provide an exterior motion camera at no cost to Mr***. I also explained this would require an upgrade to his Pulse system, which would increase his monthly rate to $and require a separate $camera activation fee. Mr. *** thanked me for my offer and stated he would think about it and let me know if he decided to take advantage of the offer

Thecustomer contacted us December 22nd regarding system issuesregarding the sensors. Defenders, Inc. DBA Protect Your Home is
an Indiana corporation that specializes in selling residential alarm systems
We have been an ADT authorized dealer since that sells and installs ADT
monitored security systemsOnce the security system is installed, the contract
is then purchased, billed, serviced and maintained by ADT
In summary, Ms*** states that she did not receive all
of the equipment that was part of her installation orderSince it was not
installed she would like the charge refunded and keypad installed
Ms*** upgraded her alarm services to Pulse with video
and home control featuresThis included the keypad (door lock), lamp control,
camera, and some other upgradesMs*** was not explained that what she paid
for was the activation for the level of service she wantedShe has now been
advised and has decided to have the charges refunded and not have the system
upgradedShe said she would prefer to have the basic Pulse servicesI advised
that a new contract will need to be collectedI am currently working on making
that happenA full refund has been submitted for the activationI apologize
for the poor experience
