Cricket Wireless advertises unlimited data services as a plan which I have been on four over 5 years... Each year the price goes up offering unlimited data with a 23gb lgt data limit. After 23gb the data slow down, but I have experiencing absolutely no data use after 23gb use. The speed slows down so drastically the phone goes into constant time out do to slow or no network. Called cricket about this constantly and they say it's because I used over 23gb of my supposedly unlimited data. This is false advertising and deceiving in words because if I'm paying for unlimited data why is there a limit and the prices goes up for it constantly....

We escalated Ms. concern to our technical department. It was determined that Ms. is in an area of adequate coverage. We advised Ms. when we spoke to her on January 27, 2020, to do a factory reset for her devices and register her new sim cards on her account.
In addition, we also reviewed Cricket Wireless Terms and Conditions. Cricket's Terms and Conditions state that: We do not guarantee the availability of the wireless network or any Wireless Services. You will not have access to our network outside of our coverage areas. Coverage maps, available on our website or in store, show a high-level approximation of wireless coverage and there are gaps in coverage not shown by this approximation; actual coverage may vary and be affected by terrain, weather, foliage, buildings, signal strength, high-usage periods, customer equipment and other factors." I have been a cricket customer for years, I have an LG V35 thinq, I have had the new phone for Six Months as of two weeks ago.
I'm going on a trip to Japan on Thursday, and I need my phone unlocked so that I can use my phone in Japan. I already bought a Japanese sim card.
I have called into Cricket everyday for the past 2 weeks trying to get my unlock code and all they tell me every time is "We have created an urgent ticket for you, we don't know why we can't get your unlock code"
I have talked to dozens of people and supervisors and they all give me the same answer. I'm really worried I'm about to go on my trip and have no access to my phone for travel.
My reference number for these many phonecalls is - Can't provide, Revdex.com thinks it's my SS number when it's not
Any other solutions here? I have gone to three different Cricket stores in town and they all say "we don't unlock phones in store" despite the Cricket website saying they have the ability to do so.
I have sent DM messages through Cricket Support on Facebook and Twitter - I received a response from Facebook DM asking for my account name and number but I never received a follow up from here.
Everyone one has been very polite and kind on the phone, but I am beyond frustrated with this situation in cricket not being able to provide a service for me that they advertise that once you have a phone for Six Months, they will unlocked it for you for free for international travel.
Where do I go from here'?
I can't provide my phone's IMEI number here, Revdex.com thinks it's an SS number, but it's not

I've had my account now for 6 months w/ the same phone number and same type of phone, now the business is stating they will not unlock my phone for another 4 months because I swapped out phones because of my old one broke. I've complained before about this company and nothing was done, and still they are trying to keep me locked in. Something needs to be done, because I've had nothing but problems!

I have had property stolen from me by Cricket Wireless. I sent a phone in for warranty repair. It took them 5 weeks to return it to me.
they kept in their posession the screen protector and protective case of the phone sent in for warranty. That was over $50 worth of products that I had bought for my son. They then sent a second replacement phone, as the first replacement did not work either. When the second replacement phone was delivered, it did not function. I went to chat support with cricket wireless, who told me that I needed to go to a store. My son went to the store to get the phone working, where they demanded over $10 to replace the sim card, which they claimed was "broken" although it was working when it was removed from a different phone. He was told at the store that the warranty department owed him a brand new sim card. We were told by the warranty department that we needed to contact customer service, we were told by the customer service rep that we needed to /go to the store, in an endless loop that always ends in paying for products and services that are contractually obligated to the customer. They have developed the ultimate ponzi scheme. They (cricket wireless) documented most of this (the receipt of the phone, the delay in returning it to my son. They prey on my son because he is mentally disabled. Thank You for your help in resolving this. His phone is not working because they refuse to provide the sim card that is owed to him as part of a warranty replacement. They also refuse to return the property (protective case, screen protector) which was received but not returned by warranty department in Dallas, TX. They have every ability to make the phone work, and keep attempting to charge him extra to do so.

Complete the warranty repair (for the second attempt) and send a working sim card to the address on file. Send stolen phone parts (protective case and screen protector) to the same address in Austin, TX. We would greatly appreciate if Cricket Wireless stop committing ponzi schemes by having customer service refer customers to warranty department, then have warranty department refer customers to Cricket stores, for cricket stores to refer same customers to call 611 to avoid extra charges, in an endless, ponzi loop.

Found out straight talk gives 5x the gigs to surf internet for less $ than cricket. Moved my phone # to straight talk. Called cricket to get refund on
$65 that was on my account. Lady said we don't give refunds.

They don't deserve one star. I've had a plan with 5 lines for the last 5 years. My sister was on my plan but she is going on her own plan. So she was in town and ported her line to her own carrier. We told the Cricket store that we were doing this to make room for my 11-year old to get her own phone and line for Christmas. The store should have told us to WAIT and do it at the same time. They KNEW what our plans were. NOT ONCE did the store mention that we would lose our 5 line plan for $100 and now be charged $110 for 4 lines or even more for 5 lines. We would have just waited one week to do it at the same time. We hadn't found a phone for my daughter yet and but we could have arranged it. The store probably got credit as getting 4 new customers on a plan which is why they did not say a word. SCAM. When I called customer service and talked to 2 managers, neither had authority to help me and said it was UP TO THE STORE to help me. So the liars are supposed to help me? Yeh, OK. SCAM - stay away from Cricket. You get what you pay for and low life employees who will lie to your face to make a dime.
I recently learn that you own cricket carrier. Ever since they change to you. To your satellite, I don't have the service work. I'm not a technician. This place is full of crooks and scam artist. We spent over 500 dollars getting our kids phones in which we specifically asked the rep if cricket has service in elizabeth co where we live. Oh yeah we have service out there no way not a bar none of the phones work through our entire town usless. rightfully so we have no use for phones that dont work where we live and tried to return the next day. Oh you cant return the phones but the activation fees and service fee which I might add is 290 dollars worth of the bill bad buissiness beware lastly the manager amber is extremely unprofessional in which I have a call recording I'll be sending to coorprate in Regards to her unprofessionalism
On 11/22/2019 I purchased a phone from Cricket. Throughout the transaction the rep continuously asked me out and made small talk that he was new to the company,how the company was very unprofessional, and he didn't have manager codes. My rep Dwane was very jittery through the whole process which combined with his constant attempts to ask if we could hang out made me very uncomfortable. Towards the end of the process he attempted to make an outbound call but could not, he then stated the sim card was bent and placed a new sim card in the phone but still could not make an outbound call, then he tried to call the cell phone from the store phone but the call did not generate on the phone I was attempting to buy. Dwane then said the phone just needed a few hours and should work with no problems he then rang me up and followed me to the door and asked could he call me later, I said no and he locked the door for the evening. The next day when the phone still didn't work, I returned to the same store for a refund at 11:00am. I spoke to the store manager Moommbi who stated I could not be refunded my activation fee due to company policy. After I explained the issue I had purchasing the phone Moommbi called her manager Rob who also denied my refund and advised that I speak with his manager Len. Moommbi called Len who agreed to refund my full $72.49. After the call Moommbi stated she did not have enough cash on hand although she should and asked that I return later that day. I did return later that day around 5:10pm at that time Moommbi stated she had to email corporate to get an approval for the process. After me waiting for 1.5hours in the store Moommbi stated the corporate office weren't receiving her emails and she could not give me a refund without corporate approval. I returned to the store Monday was told the system was down, Wednesday was told the system was down, Friday system was down, and again Saturday and was told I was past the 7days and my refund could not be processed.

Ive been a customer with cricket for a long time and have had many phones over the years with them. Right now I have two lines/2 phones. I decided to upgrade my phone and bought one on cricket store online for 79.00 for a lg harmony3. There was a upgrade fee also of 25.00. I recived the phone and I was unable to activate it do to the sd slot would not open. I returned the phone and got only the 79.00 back. The 25.00 upgrade fee they said was non refundable even though I was unable to upgrade. When I wanted to talk to a supervisor about perhaps applying the 25.00 to my account for a future upgrade, the customer service person said the supervisor would have to call me back. A woman claiming to be the supervisor called me back. How ever she said she couldn't understand me and there was lots of crackling on the line. It only happened, the crakling, when I was wanting an answer about the fee.

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by ***. In this complaint, Mr. states he canceled service with Cricket Wireless and is requesting a refund for his unused portion of his account balance.
We reviewed Mr. account and found that he ported to another carrier on December 9, 2019 causing his account to be canceled before his service period ended.
We would like to advise Mr. of Cricket's Terms and Conditions of service, available online at www.cricketwireless.com/terms: Amounts paid for service charges are non-refundable and account balances are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. If your account is suspended or cancelled, for any reason, any remaining balance in your account will be forfeited.

On 11/29/2019, I contacted Cricket customer support, and I informed them that I would like my number disconnected because I was switching to a new carrier. I did mention that I would like to keep my phone number and take it to the new carrier during the call. The representative said "Okay". The representative told me that she was about to disconnect the number, then the call ended. My new phone carrier attempted to port my phone number. The port was only successful on the new carrier's end, but Cricket had not released the number. I was able to make calls and send texts but I couldn't receive anything; Whenever I'd call my number, it would say the number was no longer in service. When a rep from my new carrier contacted Cricket support, they stated the port was still pending, and that it should go through in the next day or two. Three days later, I was still unable to receive any calls or texts. My account with Cricket was still in good standing when I left them, but when I contacted them, they refused to reactivate the line at no charge and reattempt the port. Per Federal Communications Commission, "Once you request service from a new company, your old company cannot refuse to port your number, even if you owe money for an outstanding balance or termination fee." Other (Requires Explaination) I would like for Cricket to be made aware that it is in the best interest of their representatives to properly advise the customer. During the very first call with Cricket, the representative clearly heard me say that I wanted to keep the same phone number for my new carrier. Since I was unfamiliar with how the porting process worked-- my new carrier was supposed to contact Cricket and request the port-- it was her job to advise that I should request a port, not disconnect the line.

This correspondence is in response to a complaint filed by Ms. ***. In the complaint, Ms. states her phone number was canceled (lost) because Cricket's representative did not properly inform her of the porting process.
We spoke to Ms. in reference to her complaint on December 17, 2019. She advised that she no longer wanted her canceled Cricket number because she had obtained a new phone number from her current provider. Ms. is aware that we have forwarded her feed back to the correct management team to be used to educate Cricket's representatives in the future.

I bought a phone for my disabled mom after thanksgiving and was told it'll be here on monday when I got up I got an email telling me it got delayed and couple mins later got canceled.I called them and said it would take 4 to 7 business days so I waited it out and no refund in my bank account it's been a week I need my $30 refund I think there just keeping it I put in a case for it yesterday I got a text from them they will call me couple minutes and at 12:58PM my case got closed saying the tryed to call me but never did

This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by *** A ***. In this complaint, Mr. states that he requests a refund for an online order.
We thoroughly investigated Mr. concern. It was found via tickets XXXXXXXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXXXXXXX that there was a pending authorization hold when Mr. placed the online order.
Mr. online order was subsequently canceled. We reviewed payment history and the pending hold generally releases in 2-7 business days after purchase. Mr. should contact his bank if he has any further concerns.

This correspondence is in response to a rebuttal filed by ***. In his complaint, Mr. is requesting a $30 refund for a canceled online order.
Upon reviewing ***'s account, we again verified that the $30 charge was a pending authorization. We cannot refund Mr., as Cricket did not receive these funds. We encourage Mr. to contact his financial institution if he feels he needs further resolution.
We respectfully request that this complaint is closed at this time, as we are unable to further assist the customer.

I purchased a new phone from Cricket but could not get adequate service at my residential address. I switched providers but Cricket refused to unlock my phone stating a 6 month minimum service after new phone purchase to be eligible for unlocking. This information was not provided to us prior to phone purchase. We asked Cricket to either unlock the phone, take it back and refund our money or restart service with a monthly credit to cover our cost until 6 month service requirement has been fulfilled. They refused any accommodation or compensation.

Eligibility requirements for current Cricket customers are:
A phone/device designed for use on and locked to the Cricket network
Cricket service for at least 6 months*
An active phone number that has not been reported lost or stolen or suspended for fraud

Notwithstanding, the current Unlock Policy an exception was made, and Mr. device was unlock request was submitted. Mr. was instructed via email that he needs to complete the unlock process through the app.

Cricket allowed an exception and unlocked my phone as requested.
