Review: I paid off my 2007 jeep commander last year and I am still waiting for my gap insurance and extended you want you to be refunded to me I've spoke with several different departments regarding this and they both told me that I need to send a fax in saying that I want a refund and I want to cancel the service even though I don't longer own the car I've done that multiple times I never hear anything backDesired Settlement: I would like a refund immediately of the money owed to me I like him to contact me as soon as possible to 1-210-724-1293 I would like that money as soon as possible I'm owed it the vehicles been paid off paid in full but I'm still waiting on this money if you could please help me I'd appreciate it

Review: requesting due date change from 13th of month to the 23th of the month. denied.actual contract singed in april, due date 13 april paid april 21, now being told actual contract signed in feb.incorrect.bogus company.if contract was approved in feb with no payments car would have been repoed.Desired Settlement: request extension of due date starting in aug to the 23rd of month

Review: I refinanced my car in November 2013 to a different company. I applied to at a local bank for pre approval for a new car loan. I was denied because Crescent Bank & Trust never updated my Credit reports as a $0 balance. It still states the same balance as of October 2013. I called to have the report $0 balance and the phone clerk acted like its my issue to resolve not theres. Then she put me on hold for long periods of time because she didnt know how to help me. She said will have to dispute it through the credit bureau. I dont think this is my issue. They got paid they should report $0 balance. She later came back on the phone and said her supervisor would do the dispute for me, if I would like. This is a horrible company. I wish the poor service on no one. Your treated like crap from the day you signed the note. I was glad to get refinanced from this company.Desired Settlement: Would like to have them update my credit reports all three.

Review: I've been a customer of this bank for almost two years. My monthly payment is due each month for 552.38. My loan is currently past due for 43 days. On August 20, 2015, I went onto their website and scheduled my payment to come out of my checking account for 1,135.12 for August 28, 2015 from my personal checking account with confirmation#. On August 25, 2015 I got a ride to work because I did not feel like driving and I left the car home. I received a text from my mom saying that Crescent bank called. Five minutes later, I received a call followed by a text saying to call now because my car is being taken. I called to home where the car was and I spoke with an agent from Select Recovery. I advise the agent that I have a payment schedule to come out through the Banks website. He informed me to call the bank and find out what us happening. I called and told them that I have a payment scheduled to come out friday but there is someone at my home to repossess my car. The agent said "well our online systems are not recognized here and we have no idea". I adv that it's set up and gave the conf#. They told me in order to release the repossession I have to pay 1575.00. For some reason this do not sound right because I had the payment set up to come out automatically. I've been without a car for 2 days and I'm being forced to pay money I feel as though I shouldnt have to pay because it is not my fault your systems do not read online payments.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the additional 700$ I had to pay to them and the select recovery. Or I would like a release from my loan. I do not want the car any longer and I want the tradeline to be deleted off my credit report. There should be no record of me even doing business with them.. or my next action will be to place a suit against them for bad practicing.

I am in receipt of [redacted]’s complaint regarding an account with Crescent Bank (Crescent). At the time of repossession Ms. [redacted]’s July and August payments were past due and phone calls made to her were not returned. The contract Ms. [redacted] signed for the purchase of the 2013 Hyundai clearly states payments of $552.38 are due on the 13th day of each month. It also states if there is a default on the contract (any payment due that is not received within 10 days of the due date) Crescent may take possession of the vehicle.

Payments made online are not recognized until processed. Entering a payment on line does not automatically post to an account; the funds have to be verified by the issuing bank. If Ms. [redacted] had returned our calls and advised us she was making a payment online the repossession assignment would have been put on hold. The repossession fees are allowed under the contract and will not be reimbursed.

The contract is a legal obligation and Crescent will not release Ms. [redacted] from her obligation. Crescent reports customer information to the credit reporting agencies and will continue to report complete and accurate information concerning Ms. [redacted]’s account.

Review: In February of 2014 I purchased a vehicle from Barker Kia in Houma, LA. They were able to acquire a loan from Crescent Bank and Trust to finance the vehicle for me. On May 5, 2014, I was involved in an accident in Raceland, LA that caused my vehicle insurance (Geico) to total loss my vehicle. I had purchased GAP insurance that is also through Crescent Bank and Trust. AFter my Geico Insurance has paid 15,336.00 to Crescent Bank and Trust, I am now having a problem getting any response from the Gap department at Crescent Bank. When I call they tell me that I must make a payment or they will report me to the credit bureau. The balance on the account is a little over 1700, and I purchased the Gap to cover this. I call the bank and have spoken to several representative that tell me they cannot give me any answers as to when the GAP will pay. They say it is processing, but I still need to make a payment. When I ask for a number to speak to someone at the GAP dept, I am given a number that automatically goes to voicemail and no one ever returns my call. This is going on 2 months, but no one can answer a question of when the GAP will pay or if it will pay. They continuously harass me for a payment. Saying that I am 2 months behind even though they recevied a large sum from my vehicle insurance. I am very upset that this has taken the amount it has taken. I cannot purchase another vehicle until this is solved and the fact they are threatening to make marks against my credit on something that should have long been completed and paid out...may cause me to have trouble to get another vehicle period. This bank has poor customer service and seems to have no idea what is going on in any of it's departments.Desired Settlement: I am hoping that this will quicken up the process. I am having to get rides to work and anywhere else I may need to go. I am hoping that by this complaint, this company will begin to treat other clients more respectfully.

Review: So I purchased a 2009 Chevy Malibu from IDA (Independent Dealers Advantage, who went out of business year 2 of me having the car. My contract was with them and not Crescent. I have asked Crescent to change my pay date to later in the month so my payments are not late and they refused. Then a rep tells me I am being charged 5.00 per day for every day my payment is late. This is not fair and my balance is not decreasing although I pay 431.00 every month even though it is late, my payment book stated that after the 10the of the month the payment of 410.00 is 431.00. never said anything about other late fees. I want any and every late fee outside of the 21.00 put towards my payment and I would like to receive a payment history in the mail. and a copy of the Contract I supposedly signed with this bank.Desired Settlement: I would like a pay date change.

Crescent’s policy is to not allow a payment date change if the contract allowed for 45 days from the contract date to the first payment date. Independent Dealers Advantage, LLC (IDA) was the original owner of the contract. It was later assigned to Crescent. Review: After receiving a call from [redacted] regarding my late payments, I spoke with her and told her that I had been down on my luck, she was very helpful and looked to see if I qualified for any repayment assistance. She then transferred to her manager Judy who was very rude and threatened to come pick up the vehicle. She accused me of intentionally being late and was bullying me into a repayment on today. When I told her that the soonest that I could pay was on Friday, she kept yelling at me to give up the vehicle. This was very poor customer service and as a result, I am feeling shaky and nervous and as if I do not have a way out or any assistance being provided by the company even though I work diligently to pay my car note on a monthly basis.Desired Settlement: I believe that the company should be willing to extend the payments. Everyone has hardships and I never had these issues until my loan was transferred to this company.

Car is still at the body shop as of yesterday Monday March 28th 2016 I got pictures of it. It is sitting out in front of the body shop. My insurance company's adjuster wrote the car up totaled last Friday March 25th 2016 so the car will paid in full by grange insurance

Review: In 2013 I received a loan from Crescent Bank and Trust with a ridiculously high APR of 19.4 which is understandable because my credit was barely existent so I accepted because I desperately needed a car. It's been over 2 years and I have never been late on a payment. My problem is this bank ALWAYS waits till the day my payment is past due to cash my check, that I send 2 weeks before just to ensure they receive it before it's late, and then charge me a $30 late fee. I tried other alternatives with my bank to pay my car note but it was just as bad because they sent a check that was also cashed late, I do not want to give them access into my bank. Their have been 2 occasions when they claimed to not receive a payment so I would call and make the payment over the phone, miraculous the next day the company cashes the check they claimed was missing and wouldn't issue a refund or the refund would take 4-6 weeks, which by that time the following month payment would be due. Then they charged me a late fee and didn't advise me so the fee has been accruing interest even though I pay $10 extra every month on my car note. One month while I was sick and in the hospital, even though I sent my payment in 3weeks earlier that month, they harrassed me and called my phone 20 times due to my outstanding "late fee" of $20. I would never in my life recommend this company to anybody. My loan was for 15,000 and I'm paying 15,000 in interest.Desired Settlement: I want a loan forgiveness for being harrassed and because I've already paid almost 18,000 for a car that was worth 14,000

The contract included the required Federal Truth in Lending Disclosures that clearly stated the terms of the contract. The contract also provides for late charges equal to 5 % of each installment if a payment is not received within 10 days after it is due. Ms. [redacted]’s monthly scheduled payments are $396.16 and are due on the 13th of each month. The charge for late payments is $19.80. Late charges do not accrue interest. Crescent processes payments daily, all payments are posted as of the date received. Payments are never held from posting unless they cannot be identified. There is no indication in Ms. [redacted]’s file that Crescent received unidentified payments on her account. Payments were posted when they were received.
