Review: Crescent Bank took a repo on my vehicle over $45.30 late payment. Instead of helping me resolve this small incident. This company took it to there obligation to get my vehicle and charge me outrageous fees to redeem my vehicle. After receiving my payment to redeem my vehicle. The bank then stated that I will not be able to redeem my vehicle unless I showed proper documents to receive the car. I then show them the documents and im still being denied my vehicle. I payed crescent bank and trust $1297.30 and faxed the company all required documents to redeem my car. I owe $3,797 to this company for my vehicle. and the company repo my vehicle for $45.30. The plan is to hold my car as long as possible. Raise fees hoping that I will not be able to afford to redeem my vehicle. this company is a scam and needs to be investigated for loan sharking.Desired Settlement: I will like Cresecent bank & trust investigated

Review: Crescent bank refuses to be forthcoming and professional with me regarding an vehicle account I had with Exeter finance. They called me via phone and told me that I have to make my payments to them now, without sending any form of notice. They are very unprofessional and it seems as if they are trying to get more money from me. I have been trying for weeks to get a professional to contact me regarding this issue. I have never been late with any payments but the way that they are handling my account it seems like its a scam brewing.Desired Settlement: I would rather have Exeter Finance back or another financial institute that conducts their business clear and consistent.

Review: This is a fiance bank for sub prime borrowers. Since my husband and I have had the DIS pleasure of paying our car payment through this company, it has been an absolute nightmare. Along with threatening, and harassing phone calls, the unprofessional employees that work for them have no knowledge of how a loan actually works. I have had many car payments go "missing" even after Crescent Bank has CASHED said payment. I called to try to set up a payment on the back end of my loan and was told that is "illegal" , which know is not only legal, but also common practice among most car loan companies when the borrower has in fact lost their job. While not working we fell behind on our payments. The payment was not even 30 days late yet, and there was a bank "manager on the phone telling my husband and I that they were going to REPO the car if we didn't make our payment. These calls came all day everyday until the SCHEDULED payment was PAID on that following Friday. Threatening actions such as arresting us for grand theft, and repossessing our car after one late payment is UNACCEPTABLE. I not only want to file a complaint, but also want this bank investigated. I have researched and read over 100 bad reviews and accusations of fraudulent behavior on the the part of this bank.Desired Settlement: I would like a full investigation of this company and its practices.

Review: I have an auto loan with crescent bank in new Orleans. They have been harassing me everyday with phone calls and also harassing the reference names from my loan application for a late fee of $43.91. I had their permission to skip my Dec. 2013 payment and add it to the back of the loan. They are also telling me my Jan and Feb 2014 payments were late, when they automatically deducted them from my checking account in a timely manner. I am never late with my payments and I need them to basically erase this $43.91 in late fee's which I don't owe. When I made my regular payment for June 2014 they took the $43.91 late payment out of that regular payment which is now showing that I am 16 days late on my payment. I do not have any documention from the bank.Desired Settlement: I would like the bank to erase the late fee of #43.91I would like my account to be put back in good standingI would like the harassing phone calls to stop.

Have they reported it yet? As per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, there are rules they have to abide by. I am starting a full investigation into them and once I have enough claimants, I will be filing a lawsuit. Mainly if they don't report properly to your credit, and your denied credit, well it's illegal.

Review: I purchased a car from IRIDE auto back in June 2014. But I financed thru Cresant Bank &Trust. I have had the car now for 10 months and have only been able to drive the car 3 months due to having legal paper tags. The bank never received the title form IRIDE so that has caused a mess for the last 10 months. I am not able to get the car registered due to not having legal paper work for this car.I have tried to contact Cresant bank thru email, mail, phone calls on my own and never heard anything from anyone so I finally got my attorney involved.The last we heard my attorney spoke with the in-house counsel [redacted] back on 1/30/15 and [redacted] stated that the bank had received the title to the car and that I would be getting all the documents in the mail that week so I could finally register the car. We are now on February 26, 2015 and I am still without a car or money. I have sent the bank a few letters stating that the bank could come pick up this car. And for them to reimburse me back for my down payment, payments and the money I have had to use to rent a car and to pay for my bus tickets to and from work. Or for them to just hand over the title and let me walk away from this chaos. This has affected my credit, my family & my life. I just want out of this mess so I can move on and never look backI need transportation for my family. Please help me get out of this mess.Desired Settlement: pay me back for all the money I have spent on car, down payment & payments and now on bus tickets and rent a cars. so I can go buy me a car. or just hand over the title and clear me from all payments. Review: I bought a new car in june and my payment hasn't been over 30 days. my payment is due on the 20th. if the payment is not received on that day Crescent bank continues to call my work and leaving messages. I've received at least 2 messages a day. Today is the 9th of Oct and I get paid on the 11th and that's when they will get paid. It is harrasment to call about a payment until it is over 30 days. They have been paid before the 30 days period since I purchased the car.I get paid every 2 weeks and sometimes it can not be paid on that exact day.they have also been putting hard hits on my credit report. Which is making my score even worse. They can not report late until it is 31 days late. I want them to stop calling me at the work place before I get fired.Desired Settlement: I would like this bank to stop calling me until the payment is over 30 days late and do not hit my credit report until the payment is late. i've seen thousands of complaints about this bank.

Review: I have dealt with this comapny for 3 Years now. I have never had anything good to say about them. Everytime I have talked to them they have been rude. IN the past few months I have hit hard times. They came once to get my car and I was not home. Then continued to call for months saying my car is not at my house. I have explained to them that it is there and we had already cleaned it out. They would not come and get it. I called Health and Human Srvs today and they needed verification that I was in fact behind on my payment. They explained to me on the phone that they could not send any information to them. I set up a payment arrangment so I can get the car sold. Called the H&H Srvcs explained it to them and she said she still needs to call and verify that they will not send it. So she did. She called me back and informs me of how rude they were to her as well. Then Ms [redacted] from CB&T calls me telling me that she told me that they could not give her any info and that I was already told that. She then says that she will call the H&H Srvcs back and tell them that I set up a payment plan, threatening me saying that I will lose my food stamps. The whole reason I called this car company was so I could get food for my kids. The car is the least of my problems. I do not appreciate them threatening to take food away. Again this is not the first problem. They have cussed me up and down.Desired Settlement: I honestly dont know what I would like done. The issue of the car being behind is my fault but I do not agree with them threatening me. I set up a payment arrangement for a reason not to be harrased. I just want it resolved. Review: Crescent Bank and Trust gave me my car loan in 2011. This Aug 11/14 I paid off my vehicle in full thru my own bank Savannah Bank Waterloo NY. However they have taken out two full payment since the payoff. One on Aug 14th and again on Aug 28th. I have called them 3 times in regards to getting my money back. I have been told that it was on file and would be mailed back to me (that was the first payment taken out) I have received nothing. Now another payment has gone thru. Today I was told they have no "notes" indicating they have received these payments yet it is gone out of my account. Review: I had a loan for an SUV through Crescent Bank and trust that started in February of this year. I was in an accident in May where the vehicle was totaled. My insurance made a payment of over 15,000 and then my gap insurance policy paid off the balance. This was completed by August. It is still showing on my credit as open for the amount of 17,211. I have contacted the company an they have told me that it was reported paid out the month after it was paid out. All credit bureaus are still showing it as open. When I asked for a date that it was reported, I was told they wouldn't know that information, and she had no one she could transfer me to give me this information. I have filed a complaint with Revdex.com previously about the rudeness and incompetence of this company. I had nothing but trouble with getting any answers or help with any information after my accident, an am still having the same issue after they have received the money owed to them in the full amount.Desired Settlement: I am wanting this to be showed as paid in full on my credit so that I will not have any more problems in getting a vehicle

Review: I have not received a stament in 60 months however the rep Ms. [redacted]y advised me that I owed $613.79 in late fees my last payment was suppose to aug 15,2013 , inadequate in sept 13,2013 I was told my loan was complete paid off . They call today and said I owed 1500.00 in interest and fees . I believe they are lying to me I have looked at reviews on Cresecent bank and trust I am not the only person that they have done this to they are scamming me out of money please help me get this fixed . They tried to say because of my extension I owed but that doesn't make any sense because it was suppose to be paid off in March but with extensions it brung it to August witch it was paid. Review: I purchased a 2008 Chevy Equinox through my local Kia dealer. I went through Crescent Bank for my loan. We made are payments on time then my wife lost her job. We then were "late" but within the "late period" for three months. Then as we still struggled we fell behind two months. Yes they called, as they should have and as we expected, but calling 20 times in a 5 minute window which they did a few times while my wife was at work is bordering harassment.Once we we on our feet again money wise we tried to call in one month of are behind payment. Actually it was also $100 toward the second month we were behind. We tried telling them that we could pay the second month behind in two weeks, which was are next payday. Instead of working with us they required us to pay 3 months with payments to avoid repo. We could not afford this but were trying to make arraignments, which they refused. The third month which they were requiring was not due for another two weeks. They were demanding and advanced payment in order to keep our vehicle. Needless to say we were unable to do this, and our vehicle has been reposed.Desired Settlement: We would like to arraign a fair payment to recover our vehicle, and have the vehcile returned to us with no other fees.

Review: I had a joint loan with my husband with this company for a 2005 ford explorer limited addition. I purchaced it in 2010 for 28k. I was always current on payment at one point got behind and pd a lump sum of 3k to keep the vechile. I was being harrassed daily by the company if I was one day late. At one point the vechile was stolen and even after they spoke to the police the rep called me a liar. The truck was recovered and I made a payment to bring it current. The company was aware that I got pd by ss benifits each 3rdof the month. I also had just made a payment that Monday and on Thursday (8 days into the 10 grace period) they repossessed my vehicle with all my belongings including my id cc cards birth certificate s ss cards and medication and would not allow me to get it out with out paying 200$.I was not late my loan was current and I only owed 8k. The women when I called including the manager said thats to bad and that that is what I get for not answering her hateful nasty calls. I lost my vechile not by defaulting the loan but because the women didn't like me.she said maybe next time I should learn whos in control. I list my job due to having no transportation.Desired Settlement: I believe I should be refunded the entire amount of the loan or the vechile replaced because by no legal right did they have to repossess it to begin with. The loan was not in default. It was just pd to get out of default and another payment was made and that months payment would have been made on the 3rd of that month as usual but the truck was already repossessed from my home with everything included all my clothes in it.

Review: I financed a brand new vehicle thru Crescent Bank & Trust on August 19, 2007. I satisfied the terms of my loan on December 10, 2013. I contacted the customer service department on December 10, 2013 to make my last payment at which time I inquired about the title of the vehicle. The representative said someone would contact me. On February 7, 2014 I attempted to leave for work. I was unable to leave because my vehicle was missing. I reported the vehicle stolen. To my surprise, the vehicle was not stolen but "recovered" by the direction of Crescent Bank & Trust Pre-Charge Off Department. I spoke with [redacted] on February 7, 2014 and her Supervisor, [redacted]. I was informed that my vehicle was recovered due to unpaid fees. Fees which I was never made aware of. [redacted] explained that my contract ended in November 2013 and since I was no longer under contract and still had a "balance" the car was picked up. I requested an account history on February 10th. I received the account history via fax on February 12th. According to my account history my account has been "charged" multiple "late fees" and "misc fees" from 2007 - 2013 totaling $3,717.89. This is the amount Crescent Bank & Trust require in order for me to recover my car. The balance is based on misc fees, not the loan or interest. Crescent Bank & Trust stole my car after I satisfied the terms of the loan. My car is going to be sold in a private sale on Monday, February 17th. In addition to the $3,717.89 they are also requiring $1,350 for "recovery costs." Please help me. I spent 6 years paying for that car. My loan ended in November 2013 and they took my car.Desired Settlement: I want Crescent Bank and Trust to return my vehicle and mail me the title.

Review: I began this loan a year ago and was told after begin this car loan that I would receive a welcome packet explaining the terms and including information about the bank along with a receipt payment book to mail in my carnotes every month. Over the past year I have requested this welcome packet 4 times and still have not received it. This has forced me to pay my carnotes online or over the phone which is an additional charge of roughly $9.00 dollars on top of the carnote. This has been extremely frustrating because I am not able to mail in my payments and am spendingvextra money to make sure it is paid on time by the due dates.still waitingDesired Settlement: I am requesting better service by this bank as well as compensation and refund for my inconvenience. I should not have to be subjected to such inconsistent service and lack there of. Full refund of extra charge and additional compensation for the inconvenience and better service would be greatly appreciated.

Review: I purchased a '08 Impala from Paddock Chevrolet March '12. I was financed thru Creascent Bank and I've had billing issues throughout the loan. I requested payments be taken from my account and was told they do not accept partial payments. I gave them a payment thru my checking accont and was informed the payment didnt go thru. I then gave the rep my debit card number to process the payment. She guaranteed me all was well. Needless to say both payments were processed and overdrew my account. Then I was unable to reach anyone to assist me. Finally I had to keep requesting supervisors to get one that would take into account and assist me further. My car was recently in horrific car accident during ice storm here in Buffalo. My car was totalled and Crescent told me I had to continue to make payments. My insurance company tried for 2 weeks to close out this matter. They mailed a check for the book value $8700 on 3/6/15. Crescent says they dont have the check. They were also telling me I had a balance due of over $5000 that had to be paid on top of monies from insurance company. I wanted a breakdown of payments and interest charged during life of loan. I also requested amount of interest I was accruing on dailey basis. I received a printout in the mail and via fax that you need can barely read. I inquired if any of the money would be given back to me since they were telling me I owed $13,000 which is higher than the sticker price I paid and I was also infored if the life of the loan were paid I would have given them $20,000. Is ths a bank or a collection agency? You are set up to fail with these people and its unfair collection practices. I've been overcharged, ripped off, and unable to try to get a car for lack of funds and the "your don't have defiecency balance" letter. They even collect 5 names of friends and family to call as "references" they called several times to inform people I owed a payment on my car! Who does that? People have their owe matters to deal with!Desired Settlement: $2500-$3000

Review: I pay my car off on February 27,2015. The bank does not post it paid til March 3,2015. They owe me a refund for over payment and the title to my car.They said I would have it in 14 days. Day 15 I called the bank, they say I'll have it in 4 days.No I don't have it. What kind of lying bank is this?I find them very unethical/their word means nothing!They have no integrity, this is by far the worst banking experience I have ever encountered.I recommend that anyone considering to do business with Crescent BankTo reconsider. Review: The following is an actual letter I sent to Crescent bank and trust in hopes to pay off a car loan and they refused to credit the account even though I was given a different amount: Im writing a letter in order to possibly get a credit for 126.60, since as of May 9, 2014 I have paid off majority of my loan in full with the exception of 126.60. The total payoff amount was not made clear when I ask for the pay off amount on April 18,2014 at 4:08pm when the representative confirmed that my pay off amount would be 1,649.85. This amount would be sustain until April 27,2014. Upon making contact with the representative Miss/Mrs. [redacted] she also confirmed this amount was accurate. Giving me the understanding that all charges owed are included in this total. On May 7,2014 at 7:55pm I spoke to two different representatives in an attempt to pay off my account, these representative expressed the amount for the payoff is 1,801.76. When asking why is the amount nearly 200 dollars more than the previous pay off amount, she explained that roughly 126.60 was a past due fee that wasnt included in the 1,649.85 and the remaining amount 25.31 is the interest rate fee. I dont understand why this was not stated clearly when I spoke to the prior representative. The Representative that is assigned to my account confirmed 1649.85 was the total as well.When a customer is asking for the TOTAL pay off on their outstanding account, attempting arrangements to pay it off in full total. The exact total should be made clear. I have received no statements to keep me updated of current account. I requested statements several times so I can keep track of my account, but merely received one form of a unreadable. Crescent Bank and Trust never provided online service to their customers in order to keep track of the account the only service extended is online payments. The only way to receive any information about the account is to call customer service and/or the representative thats in control of the account in hopes that the information provided is accurate. I am greatly disturbed by the lack of unprofessionalism and am confident all matters regarding my account will be resolved.Desired Settlement: I am hoping the 126.60 can be credited to the account so I can end this loan and retrieve the car title.

Review: My 2013 Nissian Versa Was repoed on 5/13 and I had 10 Days to get it back that would of been 5/22/13. I got a call from the repo department and they sayed on 5/16/13 my car was being sent from Liverpool, NY to Buffalo, NY for action on the 21st I was never informed this in the letter I got from Creasent Bank, So I went up there to liverpool, ny to get my stuff and I was charged $40.00 to get my personal stuff out of my car and there was no signs hung up say there is a $40.00 charge and then I was being charged $25.00 a day for my car to sit in the repo and again nothing from the bank or the repo department had informed me of this so they wanted me to pay $1200 to get my car and another $125.00 for repo and $40 for personal stuff then I was told if it goes to buffalo it is $500 to get it back from buffalo so they wanted me to pay a total of $1,865 to get my car back the letter I have from the bank says pay $1200 to get car back by 5/21 nothing in the letter says anything about it being sent to another location to be actioned off and nothing in the letter says hidden fee's so I borrow $1000 from my boss and I had $200 so I had the money for the bank to get my car back on 5/16 my car was sent to Buffalo, NyDesired Settlement: I want to get refunded $1,865 for all the promblems and the cost of loss of work to get my car back.

Review: On August the 7th I contacted Crescent Bank and had a pre-scheduled payment canceled for the 8th. I spoke to a gentleman who assured me the payment was cancelled and would not post to my account.I asked him several times if the payment be cancelled and he again stated it had been and not to worry. He stated in order for me to RESCHEDULE another payment I would need to give him the last 4 digits of my debit card, which I did not have at that time.On August the 8th, I received an email stating that a payment has been processed in the amount of $441.19 out of my checking account.I called immediately and asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told to call my bank and tell them the charge was unauthorized, that I would be able to get my money back that way, and if not I would have to fax a letter, such as this, and a copy of my bank statement showing the deduction/transaction had been made.I called my bank, in order for my bank to cancel the transaction they would have had to cancel my debit card and re-issue another one to me. A process that requires a 5-7 working day period. I would have also had to contact all my other creditors and alert them of the change in my account.I was given the "run around" several times, I was given 3 different fax numbers all of which were incorrect numbers. I was told they did not know when the check would be sent or when it would be processed. I have been put on hold each and every time I call, only to speak to another "manager/supervisor" that claims they haven't any information as to what I am talking about, or that they can not contact the person whom I spoke with previously.It is now the 14thof August, I had not received a check or any confirmation that one has been sent. Again I called, same thing with fax numbers and several different managers that can not give me an answer. I am now being told, they do not know "if" they will reimburse me. That they will have to listen to the phone calls again and determine if they are at fault.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my refund and I believe they should be held responsible for all the bank charges, as well as any late fees I have occurred due to their negligence. I have had nothing but terrible customer service. I have been told that basically, and I quote, "I am thankful we were even able to give you a loan Ms [redacted] due to your credit history."I was told my car would be reposed when my payments were not even due yet to get me to pay earlier.
