I paid a huge amount of money only to find they did not fix all of the accounts agreed upon. I have a charge off that was just sitting there. Only found it after pulling my credit for a job. I tried reaching out and no response.

Citadel Document Solutions scammed me and probably hundreds others, maybe more? My account was transferred over to LPG when Citadel closed and that has been a nightmare too with the exception of a summons tended to with me by a lawyer. But clearly Citadel should be sued.

We need to start a class action lawsuit now! I was taken advantage of during the worst time of my life. The owners of citadel should be ashamed of themselves classic rip-off. I've tried to call them repeatedly and you can't even get a hold of anyone. I contacted the better Business bureau and they're great idea was to have me reach out to another company with the same practices as citadel what a joke you can't even get the better Business bureau to protect you.

This company has not fufilled anything within the contact expect submit a few documents on my behalf. I now have debit collectors contacting me for funds that should have ready been paid to them by this company since I paid them almost $20,000 to end nowhere but trying to figure out where and how I am going to take care of the debit still. This should be illegal and sad that the laws protect businesses more than the consumer when it comes to stuff like this. They aren't answering emails or phone calls anymore because apparently, they have gone out of business and not informed anyone.

My husband was struggling with cancer and other health issues, so we fell behind on our credit card payments and we needed help. Citadel seemed to good to be true, but I trusted them. Boy was I wrong. I was sued twice. Their lawyer, JJLaw was a joke and after paying over $12000.00 my credit is terrible. Looking back in hindsight, I should have worked a deal out with the credit card companies that I owed. You don't need this company. I deserve to get at least half of my money back only because I was dumb enough to sign their contract.

I would like to formally file a complaint against the now closed Citadel Document
Solutions. I was in credit card debt when they reached out to me in early 2019. They made many false promises, even guaranteed things. They did not disclose potential harms I might experience as part of enrolling with them. I paid for services they did not render and I was sold on a contract they did not abide by. I am out 17K and never heard from them and now their # is disconnected, sent many emails and no response and they made zero impact. They did not adhere to their contract. I filed a complaint with BBB, and my bank. Sounds like these guys are scams. Anyone hire a lawyer to help? What else can I do besides BBB and filing a complaint with my bank?

I signed up with Citadel Document Solutions with the belief they were really going to help me handle the debt I had accumulated due to my divorce. I made regular payments till the end, received a congratulatory message, then crickets. I have reached out repeatedly to check my standing and to see if there was anything else I needed to do. They said they would handle it. Now that I'm trying to buy a house with my husband, the lenders are finding all of the accounts still in collections waiting to be paid. This is unacceptable.

“Ron R” our of New York/New Jersey somehow got ahold of my SS # and information not even a week after I stupidly gave it to Citadel. Literally have never given out my SS # to any other person and all other instances would have been years ago, so I’m fairly certain they sell your info on the dark web or have a shady person working for them. Got handed over them after talking to *** which could also be the culprit.

STAY AWAY! BEWARE - SCAM ARTISTS! I'D GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! CITADEL DOES NOT HELP YOU - ONLY MAKES MATTERS BEYOND WORSE AND TAKES YOUR MONEY! THEY TOOK ME FOR OVER $4,000! SCAM ARTISTS! DON'T BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY!!!!

Was told not to pay off anymore bills because they would be consolidated and taken care of, resulting with a higher credit score. None of my debt was relieved. Paid $460/month for over a year before I finally cancelled payments because NOTHING positive happened. Credit score is now lower than ever, and I lost over $6000 to them on top of unresolved debt. Full on scam.

I signed up for Citadel Document Services for the reason to assist me in eliminating my debt. I talked to two different representatives who assured me that the debt will go away over time and that this was the best alternative that I had to eliminate this debt. I am 22 months into the program and have had zero resolved issues. They say that I have one account validated, but am still getting slammed by creditor calls. Their pitch is that 3rd party debt collectors have no legal right to collect on any credit card account. This is simply not true. After numerous calls to express my concern, I am no longer interested in this program. I have paid roughly 16,000 into the program and by now I could have settled with the credit cards myself. But now, I am 16,000 into a hole and having to start from scratch on settling my credit card accounts. In my opinion, they are stealing from people and giving false hope that this program works.

Paid them 461.00 month just to be garnish by creditors

Stay far away from this company unless you want to donate money to them.
I paid them $8526.00 over the course of 14 months and they only helped with 2 bills.
I cancelled the program and they would not give me a refund for all the money I paid.
I was even sued by one of my accounts.
So a warning is do not do business with this company. You will be forever sorry.
I would like a refund of at least half of the money I paid.

This company told me the program I was signing up for would clear my debt and increase my credit score. They told me I had to say they didn't tell me to stop paying bills but then said that's what I should do so they could argue the debt. The never answered the phone or contacted me and my accounts went to collections. They refuse to refund the $2700 I've paid saying that they wanted it to go to collection so they could say the collection company had no agreement to collect on. My credit is trashed and they won't stop taking money from my bank.

This company is nothing but a fraud!!!! they lie to get you to sign up, do NOTHING, but still take your money while you desperately try to cancel but they do not answer you back! Many, including myself, are seeking legal action.

They cleaned up almost $20,000 worth of credit card debt. I mostly had *** bank cards and a ***. There were no issues. Nobody tried suing although they did say it was possible. I was nervous about that but they work with an attorney network who would help me pay it off even if it did happen. I am so thankful for this company and the excellent work they did. My credit score is even back up over 700! Woo hoo!!

Terrible company I gave over $ 5,755. They did nothing as promised to help me get out of debt.

If I could give 0 stars I would, they are nothing but thieves. Recruiters will tell you absolutely anything to get you on, promise you everything, and then you are essentially left to pick up the pieces because they will do nothing for you. Employees should be ashamed to work at a place like this.

I took a huge leap of faith joining the program and I have been blown away. I was scared that OI would get scammed but that hasn't been the case. I read the reviews on here and made sure to ask all the questions that people were saying they experienced. Citadel was honest with me. We were able to compare what the sales person said vs the truth. They wouldn't let me off the line until I was understanding everything about the program. I feel more prepared to handle whatever my creditors throw my way. I was too under the impression I wouldn't have to do anything but after speaking with the representatives, they made me understand that I also had an important part in my success. I feel bad for everyone having the opposite experience I have had. All I can say is ask questions before signing up. They arent trying to scam anyone but from my understanding there are things out of my control and definitely theirs.

Contrary to seeing all the bad reviews I decided to join and it was my worst mistake ever. I received a summons today on an account that Citadel was working on. Their response to my summons was to send it to them, they would review it and would tell me how to handle..then I can pay for their attorneys if I want...they are a complete scam. Stay away from them!
