My husband and I stayed in Hickory Woods for our anniversary weekend. It was great! The bed was super comfy, and the sheets were so soft. Everything was very clean and modern, and you could tell the cabin was well cared-for. The canin was also well stocked with basic kitchen items like dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Hot tub was pre-warmed for us, too! We had one little issue where the door code didn't work, but we texted the property management, and they got back to us and fizef the issue within 2 minutes. Excellent service! We definitely want to go back again and rent a larger cabin with our kids.
Just spent five days at the Escape cabin. Everything was enjoyable. This was our third trip staying with Ceder Creek Cabins. The experience has been enjoyable everytime. Wendy is always there to answer any questions you may have. Look forward to staying in more of their cabins.

We stayed at Hickory Woods cabin for our honeymoon! It was amazing! My husband wanted to go to the beach but gave into me, after rainy cold days, he fell in love with the romantic fireplace! We even added on an extra night! It was so clean and the bed was comfy! Communication was done by texting, so convenient and any needs met quickly! We loved it!

My husband and I stayed in the Enchantment cabin to celebrate our ten year anniversary. The cabin was absolutely stunning! The layout was great, the hot tub and the garden tub were glorious! The peace and serenity we experienced during our stay was much needed and appreciated. The location being so close to Helen was fantastic, and the area it was in was something that will be imprinted in my mind forever. The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival and the check in/check out process was a breeze. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to everyone, and would be more than willing to go back out there for another stay. Thank you so much, Cedar Creek Rentals for the trip of a lifetime, we had so much fun! We will be back!

What an Amazing cabin!! It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Very spacious, comfortable, and clean. I'm really excited to book this rental again! The staff was Amazing!!!

Amazing stay, cabin was great. Clean, I normally have to clean when we arrive, but there was nothing to clean, loved that. My kids liked the sauna and pool table. We took family photos by creek and waterfall. Can't wait until March when we go back. Thanks ,Summer

Absolutely loved our stay with cedar creek cabins! Our cabin was clean and cozy! The customer service was amazing and we have already scheduled our next stay with them!
So I Stayed in the Allure cabin for Octoberfest. And when I got there it was so dirty there was black mold everywhere especially the "Spa" shower. I called Wendy and she sent out a lady with no bleach just a wet rag she literally just wiped and left the mold behind. The phones do not work and there is no Wifi. They did not even try to fix the issues they did not care. Then they sent over the email on what was wrong and how can they fix it and was told a manager would get back to me and nothing. GA was beautiful but not the cabins they do not care! Do not waste your money people!!
If I could leave this business less than 1 star I would. STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! My daughter stayed in one of the cabins on 9/28/18 and 9/29/18 and came home with BED BUGS! The bites from bed bugs do not appear immediately and take up to 10 days to appear. The doctor told us that these are adult bites and there must be a well established colony. My daughter does not have them in her home and has not traveled anywhere else. I have pictures and a note from the doctor stating this is where they came from. When we called the staff were EXTREMELY RUDE and offered little to no help. They told us they had the cabin inspected and do not have bed bugs but refused to show us said report. They refused to refund her money and refuse to take my phone calls although they do text you back asking you not to threaten them. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. These people do not care that they are spreading bed bugs in Helen. My daughter spent $600 to stay here for 2 nights.. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK YOU MAY BE GOING HOME WITH EXTRA PEST IF YOU STAY HERE! If anyone would like to see pictures or doctors notes please respond with your email and I will happily send you the pictures and the doctors notes not to mention the rude text messages from these people. HORRIBLE does not cover it!
My family and I just stayed in one of Cedar Creek cabins last weekend. Although the cabin itself was beautiful, there were many serious issues with cleanliness, and also with the ability to even REACH these people to notify them.
I have tried to communicate with them, and they are not doing as promised.
Here are things we faced in our brief stay there at our rental from Cedar Creek Cabins :
The sheets on 2 of 3 beds were dirty, with sand or dirt grit (LOTS) in them. Toilet paper had been dropped into (some kind of water, eww!) then placed back onto roller !!!! (I'm a LADY, and I WAS NOT using THAT!!)
The upstairs bedroom hadn't been cleaned , dirty floor(pebbles, dirt, bugs), someone's old razor beside tub, and of course, although the bed was made, there was the grit in the sheets. A LOT of grit!
Also, the towel they provided had been USED and had fecal matter on it. too gross....just too, too gross.
Tried to use whirlpool downstairs ; they assured it would have been cleaned (refilled and tested for cleanliness, drained), it was not. Sat in it to soak, and after a few seconds of it running, a large foaming mass of brown dead skin cells was circling around on the water's surface. Had to JUMP out of that whirlpool QUICKLY.
There was no cell service in cabin to call them, so I tried to use the landline there. It did not work either. I had to wait until I left the cabin later that day in order to even notify them of these problems. They said they wd come out and address those then, but by that time my grandbaby was there napping, so I asked them to wait. I had a very busy 2 nights only stay (which they knew, and had screwed up our reservations, even), attending a wedding at nearby Cenita Vineyards. { Kudos to Cenita Vineyards- they are AWESOME!!!}
We had very little time at the cabin, and no way to notify them (Cedar Creek folks) when we were actually there !!! We left that cabin FAR cleaner than how we found it.
I was told by the mgr (after the fact),they could have come out while we were gone (Nobody EVER said that prior) , but , as I thought about that, I knew that my jewelry and my medications were at the cabin, so why would I trust them to come and be honest with my property when they had lied about their own property they were renting me? There is no way I could trust them to come while I was not present!!! Not folks that promise cleanliness, but leave me and my family dirty sheets and nasty toilet paper and towels!!!
They had scheduled a telephone mtg with me on Monday, yesterday, at 11:00 a.m., to address the issues we had with the cabin, and they did NOT call me at all, neither have they called me today. I called them this morning requesting a call back. No calls. So I found their feedback site and sent another review of the troubles we had there, hoping for and requesting some amelioration.
I have now been sent an email stating that they will refund me the cleaning fee ( ??really??? Nasty sheets and FECAL MATTER on bath towel, along with gross tubs???) This compensation is ludicrous, and is a sneeze compared to the grief they brought me and my family during what should have ONLY been a very happy time. We were hoping to, and TRUSTING TO, relax and enjoy ourselves there, but this proved to be impossible, for this cabin had not even been inspected for cleanliness. When I DID get to speak with them,---after checking out (!!), they always had some excuse and passed the buck, saying "we have another source who puts the sheets on the beds", or , "It says in the contract you are to notify us within one hour of checking in if you find any problems" . When we "checked in", We'd been driving 6+ hours and raced in, placed bags in rooms and food in fridge, and in 10 minutes and raced out to rehearsal dinner and didn't KNOW how unsanitary it was until very late that night, we were exhausted and THERE WAS NO WAY TO REACH THEM AS THEIR OWN CABIN PHONE DIDN'T WORK !!
We were isolated, and without a way to call for help of ANY kind. Thank God we didn't have an emergency !!!!!
In the email I've just received, as I stated, I've just heard back from them that all they are willing to do is refund our cleaning fee . This is a joke, and a sign of a very poorly run business.
All I know to say is, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. These cabins are NOT sanitary !!!!!! They did NOT ALLOW me to come to their office and see the owner face to face and present my grievances. Everything they did was by texting, online, and ~maybe~ a phone call. This leaves them ambiguous and un-answerable for their actions/inactions, in my opinion, which is NOT a good thing.
I had other siblings staying in Cedar Creek Cabins also, (someone had recommended them!), and they, too, had numerous issues with their cabins... Cleanliness was a huge issue for them as well!!! But....the most disturbing of all being there was NO WAY to contact the outside world for HELP if you needed it. Other cabins (ones my family were in, far from my own) also had NO cell phone service, NO LAND LINE SERVICE on cabin phone provided, and no wi-fi.
We felt STUCK and under their CONTROL with NO SAY and NO HELP.
and now, NO compensation!
So, now, our large, extended, from multi-states family has a "NO CEDAR CREEK RENTAL EVER AGAIN" policy.
I give them 1 star because the cabin itself was pretty. I'd prefer to give none.
Our cabin was not clean upon our arrival. We requested refund for that night and have not received one.
We rented the Enchantment cabin for the dates of 11/30/2007 to 12/03/2017. Our daughter had a chorus concert on the 30th so we did not leave home until 9:00pm that night which put us getting to the cabin around 1:30am on the 12/01. Upon entering the cabin we noted the bed was not made and there were used towels by the hot tub. The cabin had not been cleaned. We left the cabin and went to Helen due to there being no cell phone service at the cabin. Once in Helen we contacted another hotel to stay the night. We also called Cedar Creek and left a message. As we were checking into the other hotel we were contacted via text message. The message said they would have someone on the way and the cabin would be cleaned in 30 minutes. We told them we had already paid for the hotel, it was late and we were tired. They replied that they would refund the night. We returned to our cabin later that morning and it was clean and we had no issues from there on. As of my complaint we still have not received our one nights refund. This is after 2 different emails were sent and two phone messages left. Finally we texted the number that had texted us and they said they were working on it. The text said the refund was issued December 3rd. The date of this complaint is December 10th.
We just want a refund for the one night that we were not able to stay there due to a breach on their part not ours. It cost us an extra 120 dollars to rent another room and would like to recoup that money.
We have already credited back the one night they didn't use. It takes 5/7 business days to return to there card. That would be 12/11/2017.
So I'm thinking they just didn't wait long enough to get there credit, before filing this.
They called/texted at 1:30am and we responded right then, we went to the cabin at that time, and informed that they the cabin was ready. They had already went into town and got a hotel, before ever calling us. We still credited them back the night.

Cedar Creek refunded our night's stay.
We reserved cabin "Inspiration" due to hurricane Irma coming to our area unfortunately it turned and came to the cabin. Our reservation was for the week of 9/8-9/15. We know your company had no control over the power going out however, it was very inconvenient with my elderly parents who are in their late 80s. The power went out & after the 2nd day of being out we were told we would have blankets, flashlights and some firewood. Your staff finally arrived the 2nd evening and they only brought 1 flashlight, NO blankets and some firewood. We lost all the food we just purchased because the only way to cook was a charcoal grill with no charcoal or lighter fluid. Stores were closed, limbs were down. We couldn't bathe or flush the toilets. We headed back home on Tuesday night 9/12 at 8pm. We had power back home so there's no sense in staying at the cabin in these conditions. not to mention it took us several hours to get the TV's working the batteries were not working in most of the remotes. There were about 9 light bulbs missing in the kitchen and other rooms so it was very dark and hard for my parents to see. The heating and air was very difficult to work even following the instructions and texting someone to change it from hot to cold. You could on set 1 temp for the whole cabin so it was freezing downstairs burning up upstairs and only the main floor was a decent temperature. The hot tub was dirty and smelled really bad. None of the pool table sticks worked. another couple was given directions and the code to our cabin and almost entered as we were opening the door. we were not there on vacation it was due to an emergency situation. I am set back financially thousands that I did not plan for or expect. Also, a tree limb fell on my car at the cabin and I had to file a claim and we were overcharged from the original price quoted. We have tried to resolve this matter by text and email with no resolution. We were sent an email with excuses & a promise of a call however we did not receive a call.

Refund Would like a refund of the amount of $278.56 that was overcharged as well a refund of $1,573.61 which is half of the total of the correct amount for the stay. This is a total of $1,852.17 refund. Weather is something neither of us could control however the right thing to do is to refund some of the cost, we didnt even stay the full week and the time spent there was not pleasant.
The Power is out of our control, We had no way of knowing the storm would turn, same as you. We addressed any needs you had while at cabin, we delivered wood, etc when power was out.
You have travel inc that you can do a claim on for the nights you were at cabin with out power. We are happy to address any over paid amounts, if thats the case. We offered to fix this with the guest, they agreed and then later that day we got this. So we will go though this to come to a agreement.
We are happy to offer a credit on there future stay with us also.

They keep repeating the same thing. The power is out of our control" That has already been acknowledged. That is not the point, the point is there should have been better provisions made and they should have been willing to offer a partial refund without us having to ask and without it having to get to this point. They say they addressed the needs, again this has been acknowledged in the complaint. The point is they addressed the needs "late" a day and a half later. we agreed after waiting to hear from you for 2 weeks of texting and emailing and being told we would receive a call. We were not told during that time that we could file a claim against the insurance. When we finally talked to you by phone( we called you, you never called us back) you told us it would be resolved and you would file the claim so we would be able to get some of the money back as well as refunding a nights stay. This still has not happened and we havent heard anything else from you. Also we do not want a credit towards another stay. If this is how they treat customers we would never stay at any of their locations again. Thank you
