Did a wonderful job cleaning my exterior windows and frames of my house today. She was very up beat and pleasant to speak with, she explained the process and the benefits for her to clean the windows including why they use a filtration system. She was able to quote me right on the spot and get started. *** worked very hard and was both efficient and maticulace in cleaning the windows. She also proceeded to come back later on the day to make sure I was satisfied with the job she completed. Great job great customer service. Thank you
Hello Becky and thank you for your email. We are very happy to hear that you were happy with both Harmony and the services completed!
came to the door offering driveway sealing. The price was reasonable and it was done immediately. He did a very professional job, taped my interlocking brick, sealed the big cracks and used a tool to ensure there was no over spray. The driveway looks fantastic and his timing was perfect. I would recommend this service.
Hello Kate and thank you for taking the time to write a positive review. We are happy the service was completed to your satisfaction!
did an excellent job of washing our home windows. 10 out of 10.
Hello ***,
Thank you so much for taking the time the write this review. We are glad to hear that you were happy with the services!
and *** did an excellent job cleaning my external windows. Very friendly guys I encountered while out for a walk, and after agreeing on a price they came right over and got to work. *** even helped me pop out my screens when I was struggling. Thanks so much!
Hello Jill! Thank you for the positive review! We always love to receive this feedback about our technicians and the work they perform. Have a great summer!
We signed up for a full service on our lawn for April 2018. We were unhappy with our service and requested contact.
We signed up for a full service in April 2018. After our service, we were unable to see ANY seeds or fertilization. We reached out to the local company, and they continuously said that they would come to review and repeatedly never came. After 2 months, we finally called and asked for a refund. They said that they would be there before end of day to review, and we asked that they do not come as it was too late and we had dethatched, seeded and fertilized ourselves.
The local branch said that it was now a head office issue. We have called head office several times with no response.
We would like our *** refunded as soon as able. We feel this is justifiable due to lack of follow up, response, and customer service. Additionally, we've already spent the money and completed it ourselves as it is late in the season.

Dear ***,
Please accept my sincere apologies, on behalf of Canadian Property Stars regarding this issue.
After you were speaking with the local office they passed along the details of the situation to us at the head office. At that time they had requested the you be refunded in full for the services.
At their request the *** card, under ***'s name, was refunded, in full, on June 19th, 2018. I have also sent a "refund receipt" to the email address listed above for your records.
Again, we apologize about the experience that you had this season, however, we feel as though your desired resolution has been met.
Kind regards,
***

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /(2000, 7, 2018/06/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
We appreciate the refund and response.
I paid for aeration services. The company did my small piece of front lawn and never returned to do the back yard. I phoned and e-mailed several times and was told this would take place. It never has. ***.
Canadian Property Stars forced their way onto my property, irrigated my new yard and smashed out my large back window in the process.
On April 26th 2018, Canadian Property Stars forced their way into my back yard, which was locked, irrigated my yard, which was brand new landscaping, and smashed out my back window of my brand new house, leaving my deck a mess from the mud, and broken glass on my lawn. They proceeded to leave the property, left an invoice and did not mention breaking the back window. I have done all the work to find a repair company and the process is going to be another 2 months. CPS has offered to pay for the window, which they have sent the cheque, though I am asking them to have someone come in this week and board the large window up properly. I am on my own and currently have a piece of cardboard being held up to the window by a wheel barrel. This is hazardous not only to myself, my pets, and there is access to my home. They advise it is not their problem the wait for the glass to arrive due to a cheque error in address, and the glass requiring to be special order. I have been in contact with *** at Canadian Property Stars out of Ottawa.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/06/11) */
Dear ***,
Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Canadian Property Stars regarding the damages that occurred on your property. As mentioned in our previous correspondences, Canadian Property Stars takes responsibility for the damages and are doing what we can to resolve this issue.
After *** selected a company for the window repair a cheque was issued to the company. Unfortunately, they had recently moved locations and therefore the cheque was unknowingly mailed to the old address; it was then returned to the head office. After determining the new address, the cheque was mailed out once again. Unfortunately, this has delayed the repair process for ***.
Although window repairs, or temporary repairs, are not part of our services, we had a manager go out to the property of *** to provide a temporary closure on the window until the glass can be replaced.
It is my understanding that when *** was at the property sealing up the window *** was on site over-seeing the work completed.
As per ***'s request, payment has been made to a company for a replacement window. Also, until this repair can occur, we have now also provided a temporary securement of the damaged window.
Kind regards
I had received lawn aeration from Property Stars for several years now. Generally received good service until this year. This year they came too early in the spring while I was away. My backyard has secure gate and they we re unable to access the backyard, also they did not aerate 1 portion of the boulevard in front of my house. I contacted Property stars on 2 occasions asking them to return and complete the service. They suggested I could make a partial payment, but I wanted the service completed. To date they did not return not did I receive any call back.
Hello ***,
Thank you for taking the time to write the review. We are glad to hear that you were happy with the services in the past and hope to correct this issue for you as soon as possible! I see that we have the back and boulevard that still needed to be completed and we should be in your area towards the end of this week!
Kind regards
They canvased my neighborhood last year, and they did it on the spot and I was happy. This year they called me and I paid up front on March 6th!! It is now May 25th, and *** came on Mothers Day and did the aerating, then asked for a drink so I gave him a pop and hot dog and he sat on my front stoop for over an hour. I have been in constant contact with them to see how much longer till they come back to complete the rest of the work, and they cannot confirm a date. My lawn looks like crap, and now I need to go and do it tomorrow, before it dies any more! SO PO'd with this company!!! They've had my money but nothing is getting done and my lawn is dying!
Hello Sue,
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry to hear that we have not been able to compete this for you as soon as you may have liked! With the late spring we have had this year everything got delayed. I see that we were able to complete the core aeration for you and our *** location has now begun completing these additional spring services! They will give you a call the day or two prior to heading out to your specific area.
Kind regards
charged $69. on April 3,2018 for lawn aeration. It was supposed to take place within 2 weeks.
Service booked and paid April 3 but never happened. I called multiple times to cancel and request refund. Could only leave messages. They would call and leave me return messages that refund was coming but as of today, May 22, no refund and no return call from my call to them today.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/05/28) */
Dear***,
Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Canadian Property Stars in regards that this process has not occurred in the time that you expected.
Since we were unable to preform the service in the initial scheduled time line, due to factors such as the weather shutting our location down for the better part of April, a cancellation was requested on the service.
A message was left at the head office on May 8th, to cancel the service. We returned this call the next day, unable to speak with ***, left a message indicating that the cancellation was put through and she was also put in to receive a refund. I apologize if it was not also indicated at this time that Canadian Property Stars refund policy is 2-3 weeks.
On May 22nd *** left a message inquiring about the refund. On May 23rd, one of the head office staff called to let her know that this would occur prior to the end of the week as per company policy.
On May 23rd, two weeks after the cancellation had been put through and the refund requested the $69.00 was refunded back on the ***. This typically takes 1-2 business days to post.
We believe, although *** did not receive the originally booked core aeration service in the time frame expected; we have complied with the customers desired resolution.
Kind regards,
***

Excellent job and service by ***!
Hello Joanne! Thank you for your review! We always love to receive this feedback from our customers! Have a great summer!
Lawn aeration work was very timely and efficient. *** did a great job with no issues or complaints. Thank you!
Hello Ken! Thank you for your kind words! It is always great to receive this feedback from our customers about the work completed on their property! Kind regards
I paid company to airate lawn and they only did half.
On May 10, 2018 at approximately 6pm Property Stars came to my house and offered to airate my lawn. We agreed upon the cost of $45 for the gentleman to do the front, back, and both sides of my lawn and not the large hill in the back.I paid up front because I needed to bath my kids and put them to bed. The next day I went to mow my lawn and noticed the from and back were done but not the sides other than one path leading to the back.

Dear ***,
Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Canadian Property Stars in regards to the incomplete core aeration completed on your property earlier this month.
Our workers are thoroughly trained after speaking with the customer to complete the full property, or in your case the full area discussed, prior to leaving the property. Obviously errors do occur and that's why we have our company's National Head Office.
Canadian Property Stars is proud to offer a 100% workmanship guarantee. Meaning if the work on the property was not finished, or not done correctly, we will send another technician back out to the property to complete, or redo, the job.
If there are ever any concerns our customers can call our head office at 1-*** or contact us via email at *** to resolve these issues.
The service will be completed the next time we have a crew, or manager, available and near the *** area. This should be completed in a few weeks.
Kind regards,
***

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First off, before I submitted a complaint, I did call your head office and left a message and no one got back to me. Second I'm not satisfied with your solution. If I tick my complaint as satisfied, the Revdex.com will mark situation as resolved. A few weeks is not reasonable I'm marking the situation as not resolved until my lawn is properly airated.
Final Business Response /(4000, 9, 2018/05/28) */
Dear Mr. ***,
Please accept my sincere apologies that you are still waiting for this to be completed.
With our workmanship guarantee we want to make sure that we can resolve all situations, and return to all clients properties that had an issue with their service. As previously mentioned, we work on a rotation; therefore, the redo will get completed as soon as we have a crew member or manager available.
However, after speaking with the Head of Administration in *** about your situation we have moved you to the priority list therefore, if the weather and staffing remain as scheduled, we will be at your property within the next few days.
Thank you for your business and we hope to have the opportunity to service your property again.
Kind regards,

On May 2, 2018, while I was away from home, the company aerated my lawn and left me a bill for $79.10. I had not asked them to do the work.
On or about April 30th, 2018, I received an unsolicited voice message from Property Stars. I did not return the call.
On May 2, 2018, while I was away from home, someone from Property Stars aerated my lawn, and left a bill for $79.10. I had not asked for this service, nor had I given permission for the company to carry out the work. On my return, a Property Stars agent came to my door and asked to be paid. I refused to pay, as I hadn't asked for the service.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/05/17) */
Dear ***,
Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Canadian Property Stars in regards to the core aeration completed on your property earlier this month.
The reason that the core aeration was completed in the first place, by the technician on May 2nd, 2018, was due to the information we had on file regarding the booking. According to our records, which I believe *** explained via the phone call on May 3rd, we have that the service was renewed for the 2018 season. Our files indicate that on February 3rd at 8:09pm our ***, called and spoke with '***' on the phone number listed above to renew the service that *** had done with our company previously. During that phone call it was also noted that there was an in-ground sprinkler system on the property so a call a day or two ahead of time would be required so the customer would have time to mark off the location of the head should they choose to do so.
After ***'s conversation with our head office representative it was discovered that there was no recollection that this conversation occurred.
In no way would Canadian Property Stars expect a homeowner to pay for a service that they did not authorize to occur on their property. After this phone call on May 3rd, 2018, invoice number *** had been waived and there is no balance outstanding on ***'s account.
Since the invoice was waived already and the account is clear we believe that the customer's resolution has been met.
Kind regards,
***

Aeration service is excellent, and I love the energy and enthusiasm of the young people. BUT every year they're too eager to start too early in the season. In normal years in *** they should aerate in May and June when the grass is growing, but they schedule their first round in April. When they phone in March, I always ask to be scheduled in May because our backyard is in the shade and takes a while to thaw and dry out. This year (2018) is not normal, but somebody showed up unannounced yesterday, in late April, when we still have snow piled in the shade in the backyard. My partner sent them away. Now I'll phone. Minor: They should aerate from driveway to driveway, even 4 feet past our property line, without asking. But I have to ask.
Hello Patsy,
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your continued business with Canadian Property Stars. We believes that the best way to kick start growth in the lawn is to aerate as soon as the snow is melted. This way we can de-compact the soil from being weighted down by snow all winter lawn and the nutrients from the early spring season can get down into the root system. We understand that some lawns, depending on the property type, can take longer for the snow to melt than others and are able to complete these the next time we come through the area!
Kind regards,
Canadian Property Stars -Head Office
Canadian Property Stars was hired to "rejuvenate" our lawn. The service is expensive (over $520), but we thought it would be worth it . About a week ago, one worker spent about 2 hours mechanically de-thatching the lawn, applying lime and fertilizer, and seeding. I am very disappointed with the service. The thatching job was patchy; where the worker couldn't reach with the mechanical de-dethatcher, he did nothing. There are still patches of lawn with thick moss and/or weeds, which will make it difficult for the seed to take. The worker was stingy with the seed. There are large patches in the front, back and sides where we can't see any seed. The worker also left a mess for me to clean up - bags of moss (which the company did not tell us we'd have to deal with when I signed up for the service), and dead grass all over the paths.
I cannot recommend this company. My email to them expressing my dissatisfaction remains unanswered after 5 days.
Hello Karen,
Thank you for your review. I apologize about the experience that you have had thus far. Canadian Property Stars has a 100% workmanship guarantee so if any portion of the service was done incorrectly, or not completed we would be more than happy to send someone to redo these services.
I'm sorry to hear that it was not explained that we do not remove the bags from the property when you booked the services.
Kind regards
After declining aeration service over the phone, Canadian Property Stars went ahead and performed this service without our approval.
After receiving a phone call several weeks ago from Canadian Property Stars, ***, ***, declined the pre-booking service for aeration. At the time we knew we were quite some time from being ready to have spring services booked, as we received a lot of snow this season. Despite having declined this service, this disrespectful company went ahead yesterday, March 22, 2018, without our approval to aerate our front and back lawns. On two different occasions throughout the day, they accessed our property at a time when we were not home, which we consider as trespassing. We noticed the front had been aerated and their sign left, in the morning, and I promptly made phone call to their office and left a voicemail. At this point, the back yard had not been aerated, but when we were out again later in the day, we came home to a complete mess on our back lawn. We still have snow in our back yard, so this was absolutely a terrible time for performing this service. To top it all off, an invoice was placed at our front door, implying that we should pay for a service we did not request, nor do we feel is warranted at this time due to the ongoing existence of snow on the lawn.
After two voicemails left for the company, an agent returned my call today, March 23, 2018. She noted that we would not be required to pay for the service that we had not requested. I also mentioned that we have underground sprinklers which could have been damaged with their negligent service standards. The fact that snow still exists on our lawn, is also damaging.
I was provided with a contact email for upper management, who I have now emailed relaying the same information as here. I expect to be compensated by the company for any damage they have caused to our sprinkler system and/or lawn in general.
Initial Business Response /(1000, 5, 2018/04/09) */
Dear . ***,
Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Canadian Property Stars in regards to the core aeration completed on your property last month.
We apologize for our clerical error that has led to your property being aerated.
After your phone conversation with a head office representative on March 23rd, as well as my email, we have ensured that the invoice *** (which was left at the property on March 22nd) has been waived, and there is no balance outstanding on your account. In no way would Canadian Property Stars expect a homeowner to pay for a service that they did not authorize to occur on their property.
I have also gone ahead and removed you from future client lists so that you are not called in future years to renew this service.
Regarding the sprinkler system, as mentioned in my email, this has already been noted on your file and we are on standby should this occur once the system has been turned on. If there is any damage to the system, please provide pictures to us at *** and contact us right away. If there is damage, we want to make sure that we are able to work with you towards resolving the situation as soon as possible!
Kind regards,
***

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
We received an email from the company, which provides the same information as this reply. Should there be any issues with our underground sprinkler system, we will contact the company. They have not yet been turned on for the season but will definitely notify them when they are. Thank you.
