I have been a customer of Broadstar for 8 years. They have had their ups and downs, but always deligent in attempting to correct any proplems as soon as possible. Having been from a service oriented business in the past, I have adopted the premise that you should treat all the people you deal with, in a manner in which you would like to be treated. This has worked for me, and I would hope that more people would try it

Broadstar is pathetic. They never use new equipment. Our DVR box ceased working , it took them a week to come out and replace it with a used box that still had the previous owners shows in it. This box ceased working within hours of installation. We were informed that it would take one more week to replace it. We then decided to go to the office in Punta Gorda in hopes that we could talk to someone eventhou the office was to open at 10 no one was there and we waited until 10:15. I called again to the office and waited half an hour asked to speak to a supervisor was told no one was available. I left a message and then the phone hung up on me. We live in a community and most everyone complains on a daily basis about the customer service of this company. I find them to be uncooperative and unresponsive to its customers

They are on time. Fix the problem. Nothing left to say. It's too bad there has to be a 4 hour time line and it takes a week or 10 days to get an appointment.
Even though I'm forced to have Broadstar as a provider because of the community that I live in... I'd like to give special thanks to our field technician Doug for HUNTERS RUN in Gainesville... He first installed us when we transferred Apts and when there was an issue with my reception on a television a couple of months later, he came back and did not leave until it worked. Again... This review is definitely for Doug... Everything else is about 4âï¸S
Happy to have selected BroadStar for our tv watching provider in our retirement community. There may be some issued with viewing quality here and there but the service and the channel selection can't be beat for what I am charged. Great customer service from both the main office when I call and the on-site technician when he is needed. Both areas of help are kind, courteous and take time to make sure we understand what our options are or what needs to be done to get the best viewing options. Thank you.
When there are any technical problems, a Broadstar rep can usually help resolve it over the phone. If not, a service technician usually arrives that day or the next. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is due to them dropping some major channels. Cable TV is included in my HOA and when I first moved in, I was excited to see HBO was included. Broadstar dropped it days later, along with my local CBS channel. They replaced HBO with Starz, which didn't last very long.

I signed up in Aug. for the phone and internet service. My phone was turned off without the tech getting the order to install. I was without a land line phone for four weeks. I called Broadstar and was told I was not on there list and that they would contact the person I signed up with and she would call me. No phone call, so I called her and left a message - no response. I met with a tech at the Lake Lounge and the next day he was here to install both phone and internet, He was GREAT.
He was sorry all this happened. His work was done in a short amount of time. Everything seems to be just fine.
The Technician who performed the installation was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He made sure every thing was working as designed and made sure all operating procedures were understood.
I have three tv's and the internet. The few times I have needed help Harry has been prompt, kind and informative.
The Broadstar technician was prompt and efficient and came prepared for the installation. I'm quite satisfied.

Well don't like at all. Dish dropped fox sports Florida! Also the tech left one of the remotes with a low battery charge, so I had to change the batteries. Besides those things cable seems ok.

Broadstar is an excellent Co. to bundle your account with. I have there TVs, phone and very fast internet. I would fully recommend Broadstar.

Since july 1 I have not had 1 full day of cable. It freezes at least 5 to 8 times a day.

Mr. K. reported intermittent services on 7/24/2019. We have been working with the customer to investigate and resolve the issue. We have had technicians out to troubleshoot the issues at his property. It was found that the equipment outside had been damaged. We currently have parts on order/ being shipped and have this situation assigned to a Tier 2 technician to finalize. We also send out rating requests after technicians have contact with residents. We received a 5-star review back on our internal system which was dated today, 8/16/19. We will be crediting the customers account for his troubles.
The technician who came to our house today was polite, professional, efficient, and very informative. He explained how everything worked before he left.

They waste no time in trying to help. The tech that I talked to stayed with me for at least 15 min. until my problem was solved. There is a lady named Dana, that provides the best customer that anyone could ask for.
Fast installation and good service, first month trying it out.
We have had a positive experience with Broadstar so far. They show up as scheduled for service calls, we've had them out twice to upgrade services. Our service tech John is knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. Calling the customer service line has also been fine, a live person answers the phone and they have been able to assist with our needs. Highly recommend!
