On Oct. 20, 2018 I spoke to *** about purchasing a vehicle from Bonilla’s Auto Sales specifically a 2015 Chrysler 300 or 2014 Toyota Camry. After speaking with *** in detail about the two cars I decided to purchase the 2014 Toyota Camry via car loan. Since my credit is not the best I chose to finance through one the dealerships company. I signed a contract with *** Financial Services, ***, Sacramento, CA 95899. The initial loan amount through Westlake was $12,771.11 which was $2,921.11 more than the dealership asking price.
Two days later on Mon. Oct. 22, 2018 I received notice late in the evening that Westlake denied the loan I informed on Oct. 20 was final and complete. Later in the week a new contract was drawn up and I was again asked to come sign with Lobal Finance Corporation, ***, Anaheim, CA 92803 but was not given a copy. This Company also denied my loan a couple days later.
When I spoke to *** about the reasons for the denial he told me that my loan was denied because of the fictitious paystubs he suggested would be better than my sub-contractor paystubs I have. The paystubs were printed off his office printer and submitted to Westlake Financial Services by him. The second loan was denied because when employment was verified Lobal Finance Corp. was informed that I am a sub-contractor not an employee for The Renters Club *** TX 78703.
On Nov. 3, 2018 my 2014 Toyota Camry was “ repossessed” after being unable to take off work to bring my sub-contractor paystubs the Bonilla’s Auto Sales on Springdale in time to again re-do another contract. On Fri. Nov. 2, 2018 I spoke to *** twice about whether or not I needed to bring the car back I was told and assured twice that I did not need to return the car things would get settled when I was able to meet in person with him the next day. After a week without a vehicle I went to speak face to face with *** since he was ignoring my call about retrieving my personal property. On Nov. 9, 2018 I went to the dealership to get my belongings and the refunded down payment of $1,500.00 that *** promised me on Nov. 3, 2018. I was then informed that I would not receive my refund and after some debating towing laws and whether or not the car could be financed Homberto Bonilla agreed to refund only $1,200.00 which is the total after the “ repossession fee” of $300.00 but only in the form of trade towards another vehicle of no more than $2,000.00. I then agreed to consider the offer and was shown to two vehicles on the lot one a Chrysler PT Cruiser and the other a Buick Rondevue both vehicle had close to 200,000 miles or more and the battery was dead when he tried to start them, in addition when I opened the Buick there was clear evidence that the vehicle had been broke into more than once. I turned down the offer retrieved my things and decided I would make an effort to purchase the Toyota cash.
As of today I am still in contact with *** trying to get the rest of my personal belongings from the car including: BNIB dremel power tool, insurance documents, 2006 Volvo XC90 title, dash cam and car detail cleaning chemicals.

Tell us why here..On or about 10/20/18 Mr. *** came in and purchased a 2014 Toyota Camry White initially was submitted through Westlake Financial but a couple of days was turned down due to credit history, client was contacted and returned to our office on or about 10/25/18 so we could submit a new contract to Lobel Financial as he had been approved, in the process our Finance Department was notified from this lender that he was not employed by The Renters Club Company but he was a sub contractor at that point Lobel returned that deal to our company, all stips were obtained from Mr. , paystubs were given to *** from him, after getting deal back from Lobel we attempted to contact Mr. several times he didn’t answer or returned our phone calls, vehicle was repossessed on 11/03/18 and after vehicle was picked up then he contacted our office, any items found in vehicles are bagged and stored at our facility after a certain period of time we dispose of them, client came in and picked up items found on vehicle, left and contacted us the following day claiming there were some items missing from his vehicle, we told him how our repossessed vehicles procedure works on items found on vehicles, after a couple of weeks he came back and spoke to the owner wanting to get that same vehicle back, despite of the fraudulent activity he was offered to purchase it cash or get $1,200 worth of credit in one of our vehicles from the inventory available to be financed In House, he refused to get any of the vehicles available. Bonilla’s Auto Sales will not return any money due to the fact that he provided us with fraudulent stipulations
and once we offered options so he will have a vehicle for transportation he refused options given, also we have no authority or obligation with the Insurance Company to refund any money paid to them, he will have to address that directly with the Insurance Company , If any other information is needed feel free to contact us.

I went to Bonilla's auto sales to purchase a vehicle. I had 2,000 to put down toward a GMC utility vehicle. I drove it home to San Antonio while waiting on the banks approval. Before I could get the call I realized that the GMC had been in a possible flood and it was hooked up to a diagnostic machine and it showed almost all the spark ping were miss fired. And it ate up gas quicker than my SUV I was hoping to trade in. They said they didnt want it. I drove that gmc to corpus from San Antonio it took 60.00 to fill it up and I only mad it half way and it was on empty already. That is not right. When the bank finally called me. I told them that I was unhappy with the truck and wanted some thing else. It was a holiday and the banks where closed. So I had been put in a tempary car till the following business day. Monday rolled around and I wasnt able to get back to the carlot for at least 5 days due to my work. When I returnepd the car which was a Nisson maxima that had no a/c and no power steering. They told me I had to keep it cuz I signed a contract. I told him it had no a/c or power steering. So they said to les e it and they would fix them both. I kept callng and they said they had to order a part then after 2wesks already I had be suspended from my job already and the carlot said that the owner wants me to lay 150 out of the 400 he was spending on the air compressor. I said no and he said then I dont know what to tell u. So I waz forced to pay it. When I picked up the car the a/c still wasnt blowing correctly and the power steering still didn't work. My sister was with me and gone over the car. Under the hood it was zippy tied together and looked like it had been wreaked while there. My sister refused cor me to drive that maxima home. So they said they would undo the deal and put me in some thing else. They gave me 3 options 1was a 2015 Kia with a brand new engine supposedly and 2 others that they wanted 1000 more for down. This Kia has already left me stranded for 2 hours with my 10 daughter on the day of 1604 and 37 not a safe place to be stranded. I asked for my money back several times and all they had to say was he doesn't care if the owner doesn't care. I'm a single mother it lives with my sister due to the fact that my house caught on fire on Christmas and I haven't been able to recover from it. This car lot is it true or place to purchase your car they're scammers and they don't care about do they sell it to cuz they just want your money. They're not safe to drive and they're put together incorrectly. If they don't have the bolts to the vehicle they'll just zippy tie it together. Every single car has an issue I test drove so many of them and each one of them had some kind of problem. The owner doesn't care of what you think he just wants to put that money in his pocket he can't even speak to you face to face he get somebody else to do it cuz he's a coward. He likes to blame it on the fact that he doesn't speak very good English I guess but little does he know I understand Spanish just fine. He's just a coward because he knows he's doing me wrong. Open my homework on Bedell o auto sales and every one of the complaints on him or the exact same. Somebody needs to put an end to his Madness. So I'm taking him to court to sue him cuz I've then done very unfairly. I'm not going to allow him to do this to another family that's in need as well as I am. I also will be calling the banks that approve his loans and tell them exactly what's going on and how he's treating his customers. Because that looks bad on the bank as well cuz they share business with them.

Purchased an used vehicle from them that broke down 2 days later and was told it would be covered under a 90 day warranty. Never was contacted when vehicle was ready and I called every day. Not until I asked for my money back did I find out vehicle was ready. Asked for a vehicle I could drive till they fixed and was told no but did it for several other customers. Was told to quit calling and complaining they had more expensive cars to fix 1st. Kept calling visiting still nothing. Day I asked for my money back was hung up on and again told to quit coming by. Left valuable things in the vehicle. I do have Facebook messages and text messages l8cked in my phone.

Vehicle was brought to our lot on or around 07/05/18 client requested a loaner vehicle, our company provides with loaner vehicles subject to availability but there isn't a contract where rental vehicle coverage was included, vehicle was purchased on 07/02/18 AS IS - no warranty , however vehicle was repaired and was ready around 07/11/18, our company attempted to contact *** multiple times as vehicle was ready and he had a deferred down payment due on 07/09/18 and another coming on 07/22/18, client refused to make payments and defaulted on the contract, any property left on vehicles is kept for a certain period of time and after that we dispose of it, Bonillas Auto Sales will not refund any money as he purchased a vehicle with no warranty and was still fixed but client failed to make payments under contract signed.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

Regards, They never called and said vehicle was fixed they only called for payments in which I asked for my money back and was hung up on and told to quit calling. Never recieved a call back from owner like they said the would after I requested a refund and was always told he was not there or available. I have the messages on my phone and facebook.

My name is ***. On Tuesday September the 18th of 2018 I visited Bonilla's Auto in Austin, Texas located at ***. to test drive a 2013 Ford Explorer. Drove the vehicle, bounced badly going down Highway at 61 miles per hour return to dealership tell them I was interested purchasing if they could get the front tire changed and fixed because I thought that was the problem. Tell them I would not sign to buy until this problem was corrected. They said that would be fine. We proceeded with the financing options, they were trying to get me financed through their financing company. I lacked a couple of documentation, such as a bill in my name, and letter of award from Social Security. They told me we would go ahead and get the paperwork ready I would sign and bring back documentation later in the week. I agreed. In financing, they kept just jacking the price up and up and up told me not to worry, we could refinance through another financing agency later if I want. Went and purchased insurance on the vehicle to drive home. Drove the vehicle home, ith no paperwork what so ever on this vehicle, was told still needed my paperwork to finalize the deal.
While driving home I realized it had more issues than I had thought. I called *** back the following day, and told him I was unhappy with this purchase and I did not want it. Said that was fine bring the vehicle back in and they would return my down payment no hard feelings. Return the vehicle the following day, *** met me in the parking lot ask for the keys looked over the vehicle and put it back into inventory. At that time we went into the office, where *** greeted me which is the manager of Bonilla. At that time *** told me that I had entered into a contract with them and that my money would not be given back. Ask me to look around on their lot for another vehicle that I may be interested in. I did that I looked at every vehicle they had. They are way overpriced, and I believe a bunch of flood vehicles. Told him I wasn't interested in anything else on his lot that I would like my money back. He refused, and told me he was done doing business with me. I just want my down payment back please if you can help at all. I think it is very sad that people are allowed to do business like this! I will fax the contract that they had me sign on the day of September the 18th of 2018, along with the receipt for the $1,000 cash down payment that I gave them. I insisted on having a copy of this paperwork when I turned this vehicle in and they refused my money back. They accepted the vehicle back I do not have the vehicle.

Mrs. purchased the 2013 Ford Explorer with vin *** on 09/18/18 , the day of the contract she requested some repairs to be made to the vehicle and those repairs are stated in the contract, she contacted our sales person the 20th stating that the interest rate was too high and that everybody around her was giving her a hard time with it, our sales person advise her to go to the credit union to see if she could get a better rate there and we could give her a lower cash price, she got in touch with our sales person and told him that she got approved, so our sales person told her to come by and we would get her a better price, the following day she contacted us again stating that she didn't want the vehicle after all and that she will be returning it to us on that day, when she came back and dropped vehicle off she requested to get the portion of the down payment back , which was $1,000.00 out of the $2,500 full down payment, the owner refused to give her a full refund as we tried working with her, she was having buyer's remorse she insisted she wanted full amount back, when she had signed a contract and driven vehicle for 3 days.If you need additional information feel free to contact me back to information listed below.Best regards,***

I gave a down payment for a Ford F-150 from Bonillas Auto sales, 5 days later the truck broke down, the mechanic said the belt had broken so I had it replaced, while replacing the belt, the mechanic noticed there were several things wrong with the truck. I was given a list of items that needed to be repaired asap which totaled to around $3,000. I went to the sales lot and was told they could fix what needed to be fixed for $800 to which I agreed. Was told to take the truck back to the lot the on Tuesday the following week, when I took it, the Mr. Bonillas wasn't there, I tried contacting him over the phone and thru texts, this was in mid September, it is now the middle of October and I haven't heard back from them and i've already given my first installment. They didn't disclose any issues with the truck when I purchased it and it appears they are not keeping their end of the verbal agreement to fix the truck since they haven't answered or returned my calls or texts.

I talked to the sales associate about a vehicle, I was lied to about the vehicle. I was specifically told that the vehicle had a new, running motor. I have a witness who was present to the whole conversation. The vehicle broke down ON MY WAY HOME. I contacted the company requesting they take the vehicle back, I received one call and was ignored for another 3 months. I had the vehicle repaired myself at a mechanic and was told the vehicle was missing vital engine parts, including but not limited to one of the motor mounts. I attempted to call the dealer again and was ignored for an additional week. They finally contacted me and offered to repair it in their personal shop and pay half the cost. The same shop that allowed a vehicle that was missing a motor mount to leave the lot. The company has since refused to answer my calls, and has continually made my life more difficult.

Vehicle was driven prior to the sale, client contacted our salesperson 3 days after he purchased the vehicle, when we contacted client he was told to bring it in so we can check it, even though vehicle was sold AS IS we would cover the repairs needed but he would have to bring it or tow it in, client refused to tow it to our lot since he lives 50 miles away, we didn't hear back from him until 3 weeks after initial contact , at that time he wanted his money back minus $500 dollars , he was told we wouldn't be able to refund his money back due to the fact that we offered to help him fix vehicle but he refused to accept our help and almost a month had passed by, client was not ignored, at this point we wouldn’t refund any money it has been 3 months since he purchased the vehicle and help was available but he didn’t want it.
