First the mortgage banker said approval was no problem, and seemed very professionalOnce we signed the letter of intent that all changedHe did not ever answer his phone, and took days to return callsThe appraiser they hired was hrs late, and when I called him at noon he was still sleepingHe then appraised our house $40,less than the zillow estimate, but still in the parameters we needed for loanThey then proceeded to run my credit on different occasions over a months timeAfter a week of no returned phone calls I got a letter in the mail saying loan was denied saying one of the reasons was too many inquiriesThe banker Matt *** was unbelievably unprofessional, and the whole experience with this company was disappointingI would never use them or recommend themRun as fast as you can
This looks to be a complaint to the wrong company. The compliant is from a remote notary closer that was contratced or may work with BCHH Title Company. I did contact BCHH and they have verified that a check was issued on 5/18/for $to *** *** and that check was
reconciled on 5/31/2015. If there are any further issues I would contact BCHH Title directly. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance
I don't usually write reviews but I think my story should be heard about my dealings with BBMC. Sept 29th after having many conversations with other loan companies I decided I liked the guy who was talking to me from BBMC. We discussed my issues and hardships I've had over the past year and I was afraid I was not going to be able to pay my mortgage much longer. He researched a loan that might fit my needs, I asked if he thought my home would make appraisal and he said it's a pretty new home I don't see why not. So I decided to proceed with them. I also mentioned I was on a time schedule because of my work situation and EX- girlfriend situation. I took vacation from work just so I could focus on getting this loan. As the weekend approached he called me asking if I got documents yet from his underwriters. The documents didn't come thru till the weekend, with the things they were going to need as well. When the documents came they had me at 1050.00$ more than our previous discussion. I wouldn't sign, and I called him like 4 or five times that weekend wanting to know what was up. He apologized said his company made a big mistake but could I still let the appraiser come out to get the loan to keep going. I thought that was funny because I would have had to sign the documents to move things along. Of course I didn't sign and waited for the new documents that didn't get sent to me till Oct 9th. Again it was still over in price by 150$, this time I said screw it I won't cry about it because I needed to get this done. So I gave him my credit card# for the 400 dollar appraisal. Now back at work, I had to leave work and to meet up with the Appraiser for our scheduled appointment. After 40 minutes of waiting I started calling them to ask where they were. The appraiser called me back stating he did the wrong ticket and blamed it on all the documents being a problem. Are you freaking kidding me? I just left work again to handle this situation. Now we reschedule for Friday the 16th, and wouldn't you believe this guy was late again. My development is pretty new, my house is almost 3 years old in mint condition and when appraised 3 years ago it was a 350,000 almost 20,000 more then what I paid. Now the house is almost 50,000 dollars less. I really don't understand but I will say this was all a waste of my time, money, and hopes. I wouldn't work with this company because the level of communication with in was like they don't talk to each other. Every mistake is somebody else's fault.
We take all customer issues seriously. We are currently reviewing information on our end from our internal systems to create a response. We want to make sure we have all the accurate information to...
We had the most satisfying experience, working with Edward B. at BBMC. Edward's extreme professionalism and stellar customer service, made the refinance process as easy and stress free as possible. He always kept us in the loop, and didn't make any false promises. He addressed any questions/concerns my husband and I had quickly.
His entire team was very efficient, and we would not hesitate to contact them again for any future banking needs.
BBMC did order an appraisal the first week of May. The appraiser did have trouble contacting the client to schedule the appraisal. After many attempts the appraisal was scheduled and completed approximately 30 days after it was ordered. A copy of the appraisal has been sent to...
the borrower electronically. Another copy has been sent today again.
First person I dealt with left, the next person would never send loan documents reflecting the new loan and harassed me to just sign blank forms and they would fill in the rest. Not very professional
Terrible. We first did a USDA loan, had to submit nearly 250 pages of needed materials and the next thing we knew we got an over income email. Stephanie Croce received our income and paycheck stubs to prove it and said we were fine, but then we're $300 over the limit. After that we went the FHA route and had to put 3% down plus closing costs. This was a nightmare! She said we would not have to submit new paperwork she would use the old stuff and we would sign what they didn't have, not the case, we started from scratch. We had a pest inspection done from the first loan and used this on the second too. That was a nightmare! We ended have to get 2 contractors over there from suggestions. Also I ha rained in SC for weeks and the moisture report was 3% higher than they wanted, they didn't even consider the rain. All of this being said it cost us and the seller a bunch of money because of the he said she said stuff that BBMC couldn't agree on. Stephanie never answered our phone calls until 10 days before closing. I told her my concern with the lack of communication and she denied it and said she kept talking to my husband. We work at the same place so I was always there when he spoke to her after several attempts attempt piece to get a hold of her. Needless to say I could go on and on about all of the issue with that and the lack of communication and her telling us one thing on the phone and withing 5minutes-4 hours later it was the exact opposite, then she did not answer phone calls after that for the day. If it wasn't for our Real Estate agent helping is out and continuing to work so hard for us, we would have dropped everything and stayed where we were. Worst house buying experience ever.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/21) */
BBMC takes all customer issue seriously. I have reviewed the file and have determined that as an act of good faith BBMC will refund the appraisal fee, however our system shows that we have not charged the borrower for the appraisal. If...
Mr. [redacted] can send us a copy of his credit card billing statement showing a charge of $425 I will immediately refund that charge. As for the rate we did match the rate to 3.25% and can provide an updated GFE if Mr. [redacted] chooses to proceed. The processes to get the rate lowered took a bit longer than anticipated. It appears that the borrower may have procured an even lower rate through another mortgage company. If Mr. [redacted] has any further question I would encourage him to contact BBMC at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
I must say my experience with BBMC Mortgage was by far the worst experience since my Countrywide loan. Not only did they incorporate surprise closing fees of $640.00 at closing (which was much higher until the Loan Officer boasted he paid some of it for me) and included $5,471.47 on the loan balance for closing costs. I was also told the subordination fee was $300 and then found out through my bank it was actually only $250.00. I did not appreciate the unprofessionalism of the Agent I was working with when I cancelled within the three day period, which I was entitled per their disclosure, and was made to feel as if I made the worst decision in the world by doing so and was just some irresponsible person without a dollar to my name. I am just thankful I found out about them before it was too late to get out of this fly by night loan. It became apparent they wanted this loan so bad and did not care how they got it despite I questioned how it was no different than any other conventional loan and saw no benefit from it other than saving a whole $75. Now I am leary of all lenders under these HARP programs because somehow the non-legitimate ones seem to find me. Customers beware!

We had used BBMC approximately 6 months ago for a refinance which went fairly smoothly, so we decided to use them again to finance second home mortgage. There were phone calls from the title company that were never returned, emails that I didn't receive, but the biggest complaint arose on our closing day when BBMC decided not to allow me to sign papers for my husband with power of attorney. I would have had no problem with this decision except that they gave us approval to do so three weeks before closing. To render this decision on the date of closing was completely ridiculous and cost us additional days and further headache to finally close. I would caution anyone from using this company.

We are still unable to close this loan, and they cannot do so until sometime next year. I personally do not see it ever closing at this point. I have been told some many times that it will close that I can no longer believe it. They chose an attorney that is not even open at all until January 5th, so they had no intention of closing this when I needed it to close. If I had known this by December 15th as I asked numerous times, I could have transferred my loan to another company who would have closed it before 2015! I cannot stress how devastated, disappointed and disgusted at Bridgeview Mortgage! They should be ashamed of themselves and I hope they all get put into my position some day just so they know what it's like. They told me today that they do not feel they are in anyway responsible for my situation which is appalling!
