The Wellness Plan is a package of
preventative care services that are listed on the agreement and does not include nail trimsWhile our hospitals strive to provide the best care for pets we must also take the safety of our associates and our clients into consideration, well as the safety of your pet.
It is not appropriate for an owner to restrain their own pet, as even the best pet can act out when scared and cause harm to their owners
We understand that you want your pet to be comfortable and pain-free. Therefore we request that you bring your pet in to the hospital for an exam under your Wellness Plan and have the veterinarian evaluate *** condition. If it is safe for *** and the staff, they will proceed with the nail trimming

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:No services were provided to me or my pet in that time period The last time Banfield Pet Hospital provided service was November of So I am unsure why they think services were provided I moved out of the state of Oregon on December 29, so it would have been impossible to provide care to my pet between December and July I provided correspondence once I started receiving letters And the phone calls they made to me were in regards to upgrading my wellness plan I told Banfield in *** I no longer needed the plan due to a move So, Banfield Corporate's phone calls were confusing Why would I upgrade a plan I cancelled? Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking payment for no services rendered If my pet were dead, I'm sure they would continue to hound for money post-mortem

I visited a different Veternarian to get clear results of my dog Atty's health and the veterinarian found that my dog has ringworms
Banfield cleared his fecal exams saying his fecal was "clear" well it wasn't
The hospital screwed up more than once with my dog

discounted preventive veterinary care services, such as vaccines, exams, and dental cleaningsThis package of services is designed to be delivered over the course of a year at any Banfield Pet HospitalClients can elect to spread the cost of the OWP over a year with equal monthly payments or they can elect to pay up front for the entire annual cost of the OWP
As indicated in the terms a client can cancel an OWP at any time but if cancelled four or more days after the effective date, Banfield is entitled to recover the lesser of (1) the retail value of services used under the OWP or (2) the remaining monthly payments due under the terms of the OWP

Mr***'s account was removed from collections in March We do not show any account in collections for any unpaid balanceThere is no reason he would be receiving collections calls for a Banfield account

I am rejecting this response because: I never declined the offer to cancel on October 4, In fact, I told them that I need to cancel due to my financial situationAt that time, I was told by them that I could do any canceling until my contract was upI told them that I do not have the moneyThey are referencing an agreement on February 19thWhat agreement on February 19th? They took the money out of my account on the 19th without my authorizationI have spoken to my bank and they said they did not authorize them to take that amount and that they requested updated VISA card informationNo where did I sign anything that bound me to an agreement for them to take what they want out of my account other than a monthly payment that I attempted to cancelThey were not authorized to take $out of my bank account on February 19thI am now left with "0" and children to care forIf I could afford $to pay them for some pet insurance, I would have done so on my own accordThis is not resolvedI want no further dealings with this company as they are dishonest and lack integrityIf I have to seek further legal assistance, I will do so as I have all documentation of phone calls to customer and to the local hospital that convinced to get this wellness plan.

experience and we would like to take the opportunity to address any concerns regarding the balance showing due for the Wellness PlanWhen the Wellness Plan was enrolled it was agreed that the plan would be a bundled package of preventative care services under which the costs of the services provided would be deferred to the monthly installments that make up the plan yearAny costs or charges paid upfront would be for any services not covered under the Wellness PlanThe total cost of the plan that was enrolled was whereas the services that were provided from the Wellness Plan had a total cost of $Since the retail cost of services provided exceed the cost of the plan itself, the remainder of the plan year would be due to can per the terms and conditions of the planCurrently the balance for the Wellness Plan is in collections for the amount of $which is the total of the remaining unpaid installments as well as any fees added by our third party collections agency, ICS SystemsAs a client service gesture, Banfield would be willing to settle this balance for the reduced amount of $By paying this amount the account would be cleared from collections for the clientThe client can resolve this balance by contacting our Client Financial Services department at 888-448-

In this case, *** *** received services and discounts with a retail value totaling $Mr*** has paid $(payments @ $24.95) towards the services receivedIn this case amount owed to cancel the Optimum Wellness Plan is $99.80, the remaining payments. Currently the plan is on hold for the final unpaid monthly payments
