Kim and Bill were very friendly and Bill did a great job getting the project done quickly and efficiently.
When describing what would be included if The Plumbing Store replaced our water heater the company representative pointed out the various piping and connection changes and talked about a high efficiency 12 year life water heater installation. Comments were made about if it lasted 15 years it would probably outlive me. The installed price quoted was $1,649. However, the water heater installed by The Plumbing Store was a low efficiency six year limited warranty water heater that I could have bought at Lowes for $650. So, in effect The Plumbing Store charged $1,000 for installing the water heater, that took two men 1.5 hours. When I complained they maintained that A O Smith did not sell 12 year limited water heaters until I told them I was looking at one on the internet. They next said the only A O Smith water heater they had access to had a 10 year limited warranty and they could modify the one installed to qualify for that warranty but there would be an additional charge.
Again I want to apologize to our customer for any misunderstanding regarding the warranty on this water heater. As I offered before we would be happy to extend this warranty to 10 years at our cost. When our technician gave this estimate he also talked about high efficient tankless water heaters with 12 to 15 year warranties. Our technicians always give upfront pricing along with options when giving estimates. This customer went with the standard 50 gallon AO Smith tank water heater with the 6 year warranty (not a high efficiency unit), he signed and dated the estimate and the job was scheduled for 10-29-18. See attached signed and dated estimate stating the terms and scope of work for this job. This was not a standard water heater installation therefore the cost was higher at $1649.00. We do not have a 12 year warranty on our AO Smith water heater's, the option is to upgrade to a 10 year warranty with a price increase. I offered this to the customer when he called about the warranty but his response was I only want the upgraded warranty if you don't charge me for it. Our compromise was to install the new anode rode along with the 10 year warranty sticker at our cost, meaning customer is not charged the additional labor to do this job but only charged what AO Smith charges us for this upgraded. Unfortunately I can't explain why Lowe's can offer a 12 year warranty, but when I called our AO Smith representative he explained that contractors can offer a 4 year extension on a standard 6 year warranty.
We had a gas leak. Kim was kind and went out of her way to be helpful on the phone. Bill was here within an hour, and repaired the leak in another hour. He was friendly and professional. The Plumbing Store is our go-to place for plumbing. We get high quality work from people who care about their customers.

I was called before my appointment, saying the technician would arrive within 10-15 minute...he was right on time. He introduced himself at the door, put on booties, checked out my problem, provided an estimate, and completed the job within 45 minutes. Tim was polite, well groomed, knowledgeable, and efficient. James is employed with The Plumbing Store and came to our home to replace a water pressure regulator which was leaking. He was extremely courteous and well-groomed and make sure to put booties over his street shoes so that he would not soil our carpeting. He had not only the parts to complete the job but also had parts on his truck that enabled us to get two other jobs completed. James was very personable and just an all around great guy. Yesterday we had William and his assistant from The Plumbing Store install a tankless hot water heater for us. They were just wonderful - courteous, competent and helpful. Will Reidhead from The Plumbing Store evaluated our old water heater which wasn't worth repairing and recommended a tankless water heater because of our space limitations. He installed the new tank and was very efficient, courteous, and did an excellent job. Went over everything we should know and did a good cleanup. I would highly recommend this company.

After replacing a water heater,a post service review was conducted and it was discovered that the wrong size heater may have been installed. The Plumbing Store immediately contacted us and arranged to inspect the job. Upon inspection, it was determined that a heater with a smaller configuration was required and it was immediately installed at no cost. What excellent customer service!

The Plumbing Store is AWESOME!! I had a leak and when I called Autumn was so helpful and arranged for Bill G. and Tim to come out. They said between 11 - 1:00 and they were here at 11:15. Both Bill and Tim were so courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and they found the leak right away. Excellent experience! Bill directed the installation of a new water heater and the repair of hot water in the cold faucet. Bill and helpers were on time and left the site cleaner than when they started. I recommend them for any plumbing needs.
Replaced cold/hot water box behind washing machine. Will did an excellent job, as well as looking at all other water access to house and bibs outside. Will call again.
Erik installed a new hit water heater and a water heater shield. He came out 2 weeks prior to take a look at my water heater and he discovered that my lower heating element in my 3.5 year old water was burned out. The same element was replaced 5 months ago by the same company. I was not happy that they could not work out something with me for the heating element failing again so soon. I do realize that this was due to the hard water out here, but if the tech that came out in December noticed that my water heater had a lot of scale built up in the bottom. Maybe the prior tech didn't bother to look, maybe he figured that it would happen again, who knows. I was happy with the professional job Erik did on my repair 2 weeks ago and requested that he install the new equipment. He did a great job and I am happy. It's been about 24 hours since he installed everything so if anything goes wrong I am sure they will take care of it.
