Thanks to our Solar panels by Solaroo Energy our power bill for the last 5 months has been $8.97 or $9.00 each month. We are keeping the temperature in our 2700 square foo home at 76 degrees. I called Andrew Mullen to let him how happy I am with Solaroo service and tell every one I know about Solar energy from Solaroo.
Solaroo extends the opportunity for sales reps to be employees and independent contractors. Their management team is trying to enforce contractors to meetings; and likewise, when I was an employee they refused to pay for mandatory meetings within business hours.
When I filed any complaints, I was not taken seriously. In fact, my mangers continued to use emotionally charged false statements regarding my character. When I tried to steer back to the heart of the issue, and what their expectations were, they were not clear. This is NOT the company to do business with. I would advise you to take your business of solar else where.
I live above Logan and it was hard to find a solar company willing to come out and put solar on my residence. The ones that would do it wanted to charge an extra fee due to the travel time it would take them. I was disappointed in this and asked my Facebook friends for any other solar company referrals. One of them was Solaroo and I got pricing on several different solar panels which I thought was very helpful as everyone else only had one panel option for me.
What I liked was Solaroo didn't charge me an extra fee for travel with where I lived.
I liked my panel choice and their process made sense on what they needed to do to complete the entire process. I was frustrated on how long it could take from what Solaroo told me but the process ended up being half as long as they told me.
I'm happy with my solar system and wanted to let others know about them who decide to research them online as I did before making my selection to use them.
I don't like to take time and write a review but in this circumstance I am going to.
I live in Sandy, UT and my home is unique as it has a slanted rooftop but just barely. There was some difficulty putting solar on my rooftop but Solaroo said they could and have it within the City of Sandy code.
Unfortunately, the brand of solar panel we were installing wasn't a super high wattage per panel and the city downgraded the amount of solar panels allowed. Thankfully, Solaroo had another brand they install besides Mitsubishi and were able to keep my solar percentage high even though my panel count dropped.
The solar process took longer for me because I live in Sandy and Sandy had to send out multiple inspectors because two of them couldn't certify the solar project as they weren't certified for whatever dumb reason.
What I am most happy about is even though my financing fell out, Solaroo gave me close to a year without making a payment before I was able to get financing again. For this reason I am writing reviews about them on as many platforms as I can find as they did a superior solar install, process, and customer service for me from start to finish.
I have done extensive research on various solar companies and have some previous experience as well. Andrew M, the sales rep for Solaroo came over and was able to answer all of my questions and gave me by far the best deal. I was very impressed with Andrew. He was on time and he follows through. This is exactly what I expect as a customer.
My friend referred me over to Solaroo, very happy I did. I worked with Andrew in sales, Nick in operations, and the install crew was fantastic. I plan to do what my friend did and refer others to them too. Thanks Solaroo.
Andrew at Solaroo was awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process of installing solar. The installation crew was fast and efficient. Overall it was a great company to work with.
After having my solar system installed by Solaroo I was reading some of their reviews from other homeowners too who used Solaroo and enjoyed reading most of other reviews that people have posted.
Every once in a while I came upon some where they weren't entirely happy which had me reflect on my own experience with Solaroo.
I don't see myself as high strung or high maintenance as perhaps some of Solaroo's bad reviews are from homeowners who may not understand the process of any home improvement job you do to your home. There are always pieces that are out of the person's hands who is providing the home improvement which is mostly the frustration I read from people.
Myself ... when I needed an answer, I simply called in or emailed the operations manager who sometimes took a day to reply back but I didn't see anything wrong with that.
I wanted to write my own review to provide my happiness in using them and would recommend them to any of my friends.
Couple of things I really liked; first their name puts a positive remembrance for me; second having solar panel options was amazing and third them explaining the differences between all inverters and letting me choose the one I wanted at the same price as all the rest.
If you're looking into solar, take the time to read many website reviews and then make your decision from there.

Received Solaroo recommendation from my next door neighbor and decided to do solar for my home. Receive 4 quotes from potential suppliers and Solaroo offered the best price for my needs as I also wanted to replace the shingles on my 22 year old home and Solaroo offered a special rate if I did both shingles and solar system. Due to the addition of the roofing job, there was a significant delay due to winter weather and other issues but the roofing was done in very good fashion and the solar install soon followed and is working very well. Solaroo also arranged for financing for the entire projects. There was an issue with the loan timing due to the delay but Solaroo worked with me and did an honorable deal to work out the details to my full agreement. They have followed up with me during the first two months of operation and their on line tracking system allow me to know at any moment exactly how my system is working either by computer or cell phone app. I have recommended Solaroo to several of my associates and am very pleased with their performance. They also have a technical guru that is also monitoring my system continually and has communicated with me on any concerns. I am a very satisfied customer, thank you Solaroo
We just wanted to be good humans to the Earth so wanted solar. It wasn't so much a money-saving venture for us. We had panels installed at our home in Taylorsville & our vacation home in Garden City. From the first sales meeting to the final install, we have been nothing but pleased. Jake was a very professional, educated and thorough sales rep. The 2 separate project managers were always quick to respond to us if we had any questions or concerns. The install labor was excellent (two different teams) - respectful of our property and pets, friendly, nice - and, they cleaned up after themselves. Total process from beginning to end was about 3 months, which we thought was very good because they had to get HOA approval & permits for the Garden City home, which isn't always easy). I had given up faith that there were any good contractors out there.
Thank you for the kind words! We are so excited that you decided to make the switch to solar with us. Please reach out to our team if there is anything we can do for you in the future.
This is the most and I repeat the most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. They do not keep any of the promises they made me. They told me that it would be six weeks to get my house completed, and it took sixteen week before It was up and running. So they promised me they would pay for two months of my electric bill with I have not seen. So if your thinking of getting Solar look for a more reliable company...
is working with our customer service department to resolve his concerns and reimburse him for his power bills.
Contracted with business to have roof installed. At time of payment, I paid for enhanced warranty coverage. Received warranty documents from manufacturer, but the enhanced warranty was not included. Multiple conversations with company with questions regarding the coverage level, but never received a call back from the roofing department with an explanation or revision of warranty contract
To whom it may concern,
The Office Manager of our roofing division has left Scott a voicemail outlining his warranty information. She also emailed him a screenshot of our Owens Corning portal that shows he is registered for the preferred warranty.
We have solved the issue and assured Scott that if he has further questions or concerns, he may reach out to us. Please let me know if there is anything else we need to submit in order to have this complaint resolved.
Thank you,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID. The business has re-submitted and corrected the warranty issue and I was finally able to receive a call from them to explain the situation and ensure that the resolution is satisfactory.
Sincerely
The written contract was signed requiring Solaroo roofing to provide me with the manufacture and workmanship warranties for the roof installed. This should happen within three weeks of installation. Five weeks passed and no one will return my phone calls, text messages or emails. If I only knew this company avoids written agreements I choose a different company to do a bussines with.
To whom it may concern:
We have issued ***'s warranty and answered his questions. Let me know if I can provide any other proof of resolution.

Here is a response from our Head of Roofing, Jake A:
To whom it may concern:
Here is a response from Jake A, head of our Roofing department:
*** did not purchase rain gutters from Solaroo Roofing. We have offered to provide a quote on rain gutters and he has declined. We let him know before his roof purchase that rain gutters are not included, and would be an additional cost. We have also agreed to remove his rain gutters at no charge. We have repeatedly verified that Ondrej's workmanship warranty has been secured. We are happy to give him a quote to install rain gutters if he will agree to pay for this service.
If he has any additional questions, he may reach out via email or phone.
Thank you,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Solaroo Roofing creating false information.
1. Sales person did not mention anything about the rain gutters. So the crew should have not move them, touch them, re-align them. My gutters were just fine before the roof installation. Now they did not work properly and Mr A has been trying to avoid the responsibility for his crew's actions!
2. No one ever talked to me or offered to removed the gutters for free! That is just another lie. Why would I even want the gutters to be removed?
3. It is great that Solaroo Roofing "secured" the warranty as they say but I have not received any prove of this warranty for my sake! If anything goes wrong with the roof and I will need the repair due to workmanship I will need written statement since it was promised to me at the signing of the contract by sales person and final inspection by Rick. If the sales person would told me they do not provide workmanship warranty I would not signed the contract. But he did and said it would be delivered to me within 3 weeks of installation. Where is it then !
Sincerely
