Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] at business and the following was relayed:
He stated his position of $300 as a good faith offer toward any related bill still stands.
The customer did contact us with his concerns on 3/28. During the initial call, the homeowner confirmed that we located a leak. He had another contractor do the repair that our company had...
detected and during that time, the homeowner indicated, that the irrigation company repaired another leak. The customer indicated that since there was another leak that we did not locate during our initial visit, he should receive a refund. It was expressed to him during the initial call that, we did find a leak on the irrigation system, we dug up the area and took a photo of the leaking line. Thus, confirming that there was a leak where we marked. The customer was informed that often, it is only possible to find one leak at a time until the first one is fixed. When the customer was asked, why he didn’t call back immediately after the first repair, he said it was because his irrigation company just went ahead and did the repairs. The customer insisted on sending photos to show [redacted] where the leak was located, although, couldn’t produce a photo of the area exposed with a leaking pipe. The customer was instructed during the initial phone call that there likely wouldn’t be a refund due to us locating and exposing to confirm the leak on the initial visit and our company can’t confirm rather there was another leak or not. The customer sent the photos on 3/31. After reviewing them with the original technician, on 4/1 called the homeowner and explained that there would not be a refund due to the same explanation that was given to him during our original call. For a resolution, we will agree to satisfy the customer’s request and refund the homeowner in the amount of $150.00. The check should be received no later than 5/27.

[redacted] Reference ID [redacted] This letter is in response to your letter received on August 7, 2015, reference ID mentioned above. American Leak Detection of San Antonio (ALD) did service work at the indicated property in [redacted], Texas. As...
described, American Leak Detection has serviced this property twice since 2011. The 2011 and 2015 reports are similar, Signs indicate this to be a recurring problem with the structure, or the problem was never fully dealt with in the past. ALD was contacted by QBE Insurance to perform a complete plumbing audit on the home and evaluate for possible faulty plumbing. ALD's tests and procedures have revealed the plumbing of the home to be in sound, working condition. Photos of the floors and exterior structure of the home have been provided with the ALD report. American Leak Detection can only submit to insurance carriers, the facts based on the leak detection performed, It is solely the discretion of the adjuster to determine whether ALD's findings result in covered loss. If the homeowner is not happy with the decision of the adjuster, they should contact their insurance carrier. ALD cannot determine loss coverage, we can only report our findings to the insurance company, Respectfully, [redacted] AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION
Mr. [redacted] came to our dealership the morning of Monday, December 21, 2015 to purchase a vehicle. Mr. [redacted] sat with our Sales Associate, Gene, and made a cash offer on a vehicle. The cash offer was presented to me and accepted however Mr. [redacted] proceeded to pay Gene with an...
out of state personal check for $3381.00 plus $1500.00 cash. At that time, Gene pointed to our policy (that is posted in every office) indicating that we accept cash or BANK check only. Mr. [redacted] then stated he did not have all the cash nor would be able to obtain a bank check as he just came to town and his bank was in [redacted] and insisted on purchasing the car anyway. We both agreed to wait until the out of state check cleared our bank before a delivery would take place. Surprisingly, Mr. [redacted] returned that evening with his brother demanding to pick up the vehicle; insisting it was paid for. When we reiterated the agreement we made, Mr. [redacted] denied it then he and his brother created a disturbing scene to our customers and employees. We immediately called the police to diffuse the situation. After the police arrived and removed his brother from the property, Mr. [redacted] then changed his tune about having made the agreement. Despite the events that had taken place on December 21st, Mr. [redacted] continued to call our salesman and returned to the dealership prompting two more calls to the police. The police resolved the matter at hand and advised Mr. [redacted] not to contact the dealership, and that we would contact him once his funds cleared. I contacted our bank manager on a couple different occasions and discussed the situation and he agreed this was not a normal circumstance and it would be in my best interest not to return funds for a full 14 business days as a check can be returned for that time period. He also noted that my policy not to take personal checks is good as there is a lot of compromising taking place in the market. I have never been nor have witnessed any of my employees go through such an outright bullying experience from any customer. On Wednesday, January 13, 2016, there was a full refund given to Mr. [redacted] concluding our business relations.
June 2015: I contacted this company to determine the source of a leak in the foundation of my rental property. I was initially quoted one price and then charged a different amount. When I questioned the difference, I received a condescending response. I also had to request a follow up visit because leaking continued after I arranged repairs (based on their initial report & observations). Once again, when I asked them to explain their findings from the 2nd visit, I was treated as if my inquiry was burdensome & annoying. The customer service of this company is lacking and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have attached 3 photos showing the water damage & cleanup of the water. I did say that I would reroute the a/c condensate drain line into the washer drain line, but I NEVER touched it after that statement. Therefore, I did not move the washer, and it was clearly the mistake of ALD. Mistakes happen, and just because someone has worked for a company for 12 years, doesn't mean that they NOR the other person with him could have made a mistake by not checking to see if everything was put back correctly. The way the technicians left it was how the water got on the floor, and damaged the flooring.Regards,

We were called to [redacted] residence at [redacted] back in November of 2016 to look at a roof leak. From the ground we could determine that the existing roof repair was done incorrectly. The plywood was nailed over top of the existing shingles and...
finish shingles were installed on the new plywood. We also were able to see that the stack was installed in the valley. We then went in the house to take a look at the roof since the kitchen ceiling had fallen from water damage. We then discovered that there where no step flashings on the wall attached to the roof. And that several more sheets of ply wood would need to be replaced. We also discussed relocating the stack and repairing the damaged rafters and wall repair. [redacted] at this point told us that he would prefer to leave the stack in its current location and he would make the repairs underneath when he made an insurance claim for the damages created by the water damage created by the roof. We provided [redacted] with a proposal to repair the plywood, ice guard and shingle the affected are and valleys. Prior to signing this proposal to proceed with the work we once again discussed the stack in the valley. Once again we were told to leave it alone and just fix the shingles and plywood. I also let him know that we would do the best we could with the stack but we could not guarantee it not to leak. When my crew arrived to make repairs to [redacted] roof, they once again discussed moving the stack and they were once again told to leave it alone. We made the repairs as required. We ice guarded the front, back and upper roof and re-shingled the area. While making repairs, we discovered the wall was damaged and severely rotted. We were told that it could wait for the insurance company to repair the damages. About a month later [redacted] contacted us concerning a minor leak in the repaired area. We went out to investigate immediately. We caulked around the stack and re-adjusted an existing gutter to divert water as much as possible. Once again we told [redacted] that it’s the stack creating the issue and we need to move it. Once again he refused and said that it’s not the stack leaking. Since that meeting [redacted] as contacted us several times. I have on several occasions discussed this stack issue with him. I told him I cannot keep running out to repair this valley unless the stack is re-located. His last phone call we tried to return for almost two weeks. He would call our office an 6 AM or after hours. When we tried to return his call all we would get is his voice mail. If I was looking to contact a company I would call during business hours. Nonetheless, we would be happy too work with [redacted] once we has the stack moved out of the valley and we can seal it properly. We can also do it for him should he be unable to locate anyone else.
Tell us why here.. As discussed in previous response, the homeowner did call us out to look at the rotten area in his roof directly over the kitchen. The sheeting was destroyed and it was leaking profusely. When we inspected the exterior we discovered that the stack was in the valley. This is a big hazard because there is next to no way to seal it properly. At this point we let the homeowner know that the stack needed to be relocated. We showed up to make the repairs on the roof as agreed upon. The stack was not relocated so we once again mentioned it to the homeowner. We then proceeded to tear off the damaged area, replace the damaged sheeting and install ice guard and finished by installing new shingles and re-pitching the gutter. As you can se by the pictures attached, it came out nicely. You can also see the tremendous amount of damage that we repaired. When we were called back due to a small leak, we responded and inspected and determined that the leak was once again due to the stack in the valley. We once again told the homeowner that it needs to relocated and that we would be happy to repair the area once it was done.We responded to each of his calls, he just didn’t like the response. We will warranty the work, but not the stack per our discussion. Once again, We replaced all the rot, damaged framing and roofing materials. We completed our project. Once the homeowner completes the stack relocation, we will make the repairs to the area and all should be well.
Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] at business and the following was relayed:
We allowed the customer to trade the vehicle in for one he wanted. He is satisfied and this has been resolved.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I recently filed a complaint in which involved my car being fixed in- correctly. I was immediately contacted and my auto was fixed correctly, although not completely. I have receipts in which my o2 sensor was completed. I was charged 391.00 and was told it was completed. I found out later that they just reset the codes. He told me he stands by his work so I brang it back. They then told me they installed a bad part. So once again I brought it back. I have both receipts he said he didn't charge me although he did. He fixed my exterior body and in the meantime destroyed my computer and now i'll never be able to pass inspection.I am very disappointed with there work.I have the original receipt not one he sent you.I feel I was played and would like a refund. I have zero confidence in his mechanics all they did was ruin my cars computer.I am disabled and my only form of transportation is my car in which I entrusted with abbott motors.Only to have them ruin my computer, and write you a bad receipt.I am asking for a refund in the amount of 391.00. Although it will not even cover my cars computer the one they destroyed. I do have all my original receipts and still a bad car computer. they did fix the exterior although did not fix the problem with my computer, three times and twelve hours and no car computer. I know he knew what needed to be done he just played around and made things up to take advantage of me. I feel Iam being played for a fool, and dont know where to turn. He fast talked me and while I was there picking up my vehicle there was another unhappy customer complaining although I did not stay to listen to his dispute. So in short I am asking for a refund of 391.00. I will then use that money to fix my car which they destroyed per there own mechanic's words.I didn't receive a check just signed receipts for zero charges. NOT TO BRING MY CAR BACK THERE but receive the money that was charged for the part on the 2-25-15 receipt, what I meant above about bad receipt he sent you it showed -361 for part removal and replacement all zero charges but I did pay that actually $391; I have the original receipt. So I paid almost $400 for a problem that I got estimated at 2 other places for a little over a hundred for it not even to get fixed but something bigger being broke I called around and its 600 dollars.

I am sorry to hear you are having concerns and would like to hear from you. I have reviewed your complaint and have attached a copy of our service invoice addressing your concerns of a transmission popping out of gear and axle seals leaking. According to our...
service invoice you had no other concerns at that time. I went and spoke to John our Service Manager regarding your vehicle and we discussed your service visit and his documentation of this visit. He confirmed his findings and that he had one of our Master Technicians drive your vehicle (5) times and he was not able to duplicate any of your concerns or any irregularity with the transmission at this time. He also confirmed that the axle seals were not leaking but showed normal seepage and were not at a safety concern. He also stated he told you on pickup to bring the vehicle back if you have anymore issues or if your transmission issues become evident and you stated you would. We were not made aware of any issue with your radiator at that time and we are willing to make an appointment and look into this for you. Again, I look forward to discussing your concerns and an opportunity to resolve these matters. Sincerely, Michael Z., Pres.
In response to the complaint, we all agreed there wasn't a perfect color match and I said I would repaint it as a goodwill courtesy. The vehicle is 11 year years old and the new factory paint didn't match his old paint exactly due to age and fade. We have since tinted the...
factory color repainted the repaired areas by tinting the factory color to match the old paint as best as possible at no charge as goodwill. The fenders were pushed in at the bottoms from someone kicking off ice chunks leftover from the snow/icy road conditions. We also repaired that at no charge to the customer and advised him of the cause. The customer also stated he wanted his engine light repaired. The vehicle was put through a systems diagnostic. There were stored codes in system that led to the o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 not functioning. After installing the new sensor the codes were cleared and the car was functioning as normal. The customer returned with the engine light on again with the same codes present. We then performed a full electrical diagnosis for 5 hours at no charge and determined that the driver bank in the main computer has failed causing the check engine lite to come. This diagnostic also determined that the o2 sensor installed was still funtioning properly. We explained to the customer this needed to be replaced and was not part of the original repair but the diagnostics performed were at no charge and goodwill. He declined to have the work performed at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:once again, I paid $250 to find where is the leak. To give me advice was very nice, and I also accept it, just not able to afford it at the moment, that's why I decided to fix the leak. Why to give me back $150 if I paid $250 for something that was not correct after all? Mr. [redacted] focus on his advice and not on the service that was suppose to do. Again, he did his job, but he was wrong with his diagnosed, if I accepted the fact that I paid plumber $600 to dig twice for no reason, why he can not accept the fact that there was no leaks at the two spots where he indicated as the problem.

I am rejecting this response because:
On the FIRST day they did the test on 07.30.14, they tested
the skimmer ( its written on the Work Order Form by American Leak Detection on
07.30.13 that they did “Dye Test on the Skimmer throat was negative for water
loss.” The reason why they did dye test on the skimmer was because it showed
wear and tear and they suspected that skimmer could be a possibility, but they
did dye test and found NO LEAK there. So when American Leak Detection is
claiming that there was a leak on the skimmer and American Leak Detection
claiming we hired another company to repair a leak in the skimmer is totally
false.
After initial repair was done by American Leak
Detection, we called them as soon as we could to schedule them to come back
because leak was not fixed. Before repair was done water level was going down
to a specific level at the edge of one of the jets and was not going down below
that level. After the American Leak Detection did the repair, the water level
was going down to the SAME EXACT LEVEL. We called them to come back and figure
it out, and all they did was test the hole that they capped off. The leak was
clearly somewhere else besides what they capped off. This is clearly proven
when they did the FINAL leak detection in March of 2015 and did Leak Detection
where they claimed that they can not find a leak though pressure test on the
pipes and though process of elimination leak must be at one of the drain pipes
on the floor and 2 days later I hired another company to do leak detection and
they clearly found the leak in one of the jets. The new company did the repair
on the jet line that they found which fixed the leak. This was the original
leak that American Leak Detection should have found on 07.30.14, its clear that
they never found a leak, and based on guessing they did work on a working pipe
and leak persisted and refuse to trouble shoot further. Every time I called
American Leak Detection after the work done, all they did is test the pipe they
worked on which is clearly not the place where water was leaking from. Its very
clear, I contracted American Leak Detection because our spa had a leak. They
were paid to find the leak and then fix the leak. The leak did not get fixed.
Even after all these issues, they did another leak detection and they did not
find a leak, and only 2 days after another company was contracted to find the
leak and they found the leak and they fixed the leak. The entire process with
American Leak Detection was Fraud, and I should not only be compensated for
false leak detection and false work done, but also should be paid what the new
company charged to finally find and fix the leak

Lack of clarity and lying about their abilities and charging you for it.Paid $375.00 for water leak detection. They combed the yard and circled the leak area. Then they asked for $1050 for repair. Then said there is another leak and it would cost 130$ an hour to find the next leak and want to charge me another 1050$. I refused to pay but at the end paid 500$ on top of the 375$ and I still have the leak not fixed. They are not honest and they do not tell you that they method only finds one leak at a time.Do not do business with this particular branch.Desired SettlementJust refund me the 500$ I paid. They can keep the 375$ for the leak detection.Business Response American Leak Detection was hired to perform a detection for a water leak that Mr. [redacted] had at referenced residence for a charge of $375.00. Our technician performed the detection and located the leak for which we quoted the repair to be between $900 - $1,100. Mr. [redacted] approved, so we proceeded with the repair. Our technician excavated the dirt and exposed found leak and replaced leaking section of pipe. He then turned the water meter back on and discovered there must be another leak because the meter was still spinning. We cannot locate more than one leak at a time and cannot guarantee that additional leaks do not exist, as stated in the second paragraph of our Standard Work Authorization. Please see attached copy of said authorization form that Mr. [redacted] signed. We offered to do the additional leak detection at an hourly rate, but Mr. [redacted] refused. The total charges for the repair came to $1,050.00. Mr. [redacted] agreed to pay only $500.00 of that total. Because it was clearly stated that we cannot guarantee that additional leaks do not exist, I feel that we should have been allowed to continue with the leak detection so that the job could be properly completed. However, since that was obviously not approved by Mr. [redacted], I feel that we should be entitled to the full total charges for the repair since it was clearly a leak that needed to be repaired. I request that Mr. [redacted] pay us the remaining $550.00 due for the repair.
Signed contract and paid $550 for leak to be found and fixed in my pool. The company claims to have found the leak but still has not fixed it. Called company at the beginning of May and stated that I was having a problem with my pool leaking. Spoke to a guy named [redacted] and was told that they would be glad to come out. I was told that it would be $550 for the first two hours and $150.00 for every hour after that. He said that normally it takes only 2 hours to fix as long as it was not major work ( like on pipes underground) to fix. Two guys came to my house on 5/7/2015. They took a look at my pool and thought that problem was in my light. I signed a contract (which I have a copy of) that states that they will fix my leak and for me to monitor the repair for further leakage for the next 30 days and if it continues they will come back out for free. After 30 days the normal rate will apply. I paid them $550.00. The two guys worked for about an hour and then told me that they felt sure that my leak was in my light and it required some new epoxy. They said that they could fix it with no problem. A few minutes later they came back to my door and told me that they didn't have any epoxy and I could pick it up from my local pool place to fix the problem. I was told that since they didn't have any epoxy, I would have to fix it myself and they left. My father called [redacted] to tell him what had happened and he text me that he would come by the next week and fix it. I text [redacted] on that Monday afternoon to find out when they would be coming out so I could be at home. His response to me was extremely rude, which I still have on my phone. I was told that I would have to work with him and that he was doing this for free. I could be charged $150.00. I told him I just wanted to know when I needed to put my dog that bites up and I was working with him. A guy came the next day 5/12/2015. He was here about 30 mins. and left. He told my husband to wait one day then start refilling the pool. We waited and refilled the pool the following day. Once the pool was filled and water off, we realized we still had a leak. I tried to find a another number of contact for the company without going through [redacted]. I text a man that works for the company and explained that I needed to talk to someone besides [redacted] because we still had a leak and [redacted] was too rude for me to have to deal with. I got a phone call the next morning from [redacted]. He started the conversation off that I was " bashing " him to his employees. I simply told him that he was too rude for me and I was trying to deal with someone else so I could get my pool fixed. He told me he owned the company and they wouldn't be coming back out. So now I still have a leak in my pool and have paid this company $550.00 for nothing. On top of this refilled my pool costing me $100.00 to do so and for it to leak right back out. I am extremely upset and have never had anything ever happen to me like this before. I have a copy of my contract and all texts between both [redacted] and I. Please help!!Desired SettlementI want my money back. I paid $550 for one hour of nothing. I still have a leak in my pool. I have tried to deal with the guy [redacted] but he is so rude I am tired of trying. I just want my $550 back.
The pool technician came out for 10 minutes and charged me over $300 to tell me there was no leak, which there was and they found after I continued to pester them to check again. They patched the hole in my light blue pool liner with a very obvious dark navy blue material. They wouldn't appreciate this if it was their own home. It is so far off in color, and right before I out my house on the market! I've been calling for 2 weeks with no return visit to attemp to patch over it with a more appropriate color!
Review: American Leak Detection sent out a person named N[redacted] twice. The first time he came hhe smelled like alcohol. I wasnt home but my mom was. She didnt mention anything because she gave him the benefit of the doubt. He was unable to determine a leak. He came out a second time and my mom told me that he smelled like alcohil again. I happened to be home so I went outside to talk to him. He smelled like alcohol and wasnt responding in complete sentences. I told him that my poolman thinks they should doan evaporation test and he said that he already did it. I also told him to leave a diagnosis in my mailbox, which he failed to do. He was staring at the pool and not doing much work. I called the company to complain and they just said that he was good at what he did and they had nothing to say about the smell of alcohol. I dont think he got much work done that day. Then I called the headquarters in SanDiego anf they said that they were adressing the issue. Its been almost a week and I havent heard from them. They did send a more reliable person, but I dint think the company solved my pools problem.Desired Settlement: I paid $350 and the company came to no solution. They actually wanted me to pay more to have a person go in the pool to look for a leak. I either want the pronlem fixed or my money back. They didnt solve the problem but just made assuptions. I am very upset with this company.

RE: ID 10674861
I have attached 4 Invoices for A**, all detailed.
It is the opinion of Ms. A** that our tec**ician, “N[redacted]”, we
don’t employee a N[redacted], smelled of alcohol.
This particular tech has worked with American Leak Detection for many
years, this would not be a characteristic of his. He also reports to the office every day after
finishing his assignments, I believe this would have attracted the attention of
the office staff, co-workers and the owner if indeed it was true. This tech is also a man of few words, but
having a chatty personality is not one of the qualities we look for in a
techician, we look for the tec**ical and mechanical skill most
importantly. The techs personality has
nothing to do with the difficulty of finding the A** leak, leaks are
sometimes difficult to find. As said
before we did not build the pool, only working to figure out why it leaks. Some leak detections are black and white, and
some are grey. There are various reasons
why pools lose water, most of them are textbook reasons, and some take many
visits to get conclusive results.
If the Ms. A** would like to prepare their pool for additional
testing, fix the items marked on the last inspection and clean their pool and
spa, visible to the bottom, we can do more testing.
In addition Ms. A** says she complained to “headquarters”
in San Diego, and has not gotten a response, that is because there is not a
headquarters in San Diego.

Review: I contacted American Leak Detection on 07.30.2014 because there is a very small leak in our spa, the water leaks up to a level in the spa and stops there. A tech from American Leak Detection came to find the leak. They charged me $350 for finding the leak. They tested 2 jets and spa filter and all piping related to spa. They also tested skimmer because it showed wear and tear. They said they found the leak in a pipe that connects to one of the jets. On the invoice they wrote down the findings, also that they did dye test on the skimmer and found no leak. I asked American Leak Detection to provide a quote to fix the leak. They quoted me $1250. I requested them to proceed with the repair. On 08.25.2014 they came to do the repair, they opened a section of the concrete deck with jackhammer and did the proposed repair. The invoice was paid $1250. The Spa continued to leak and stop at same exact level. We contacted American Leak Detection to notify them that the leak is still there. They came here and tested the work they did and found that the work they did was not leaking, so based on that finding they left. I called them again and told them, I understand that the work they did is not leaking but the leak is still there. I spoke to them again and told them ok, I understand that the work you did is not leaking but because leak is still there I still need work done, please if you could come back and properly test not youre your work, but everything else to see where the leak is and fix it, I will pay again if I have to. Finally on 03.13.2015 they came once again, they tested their work and found that its not leaking, they tested everything else once again, and they found no leak. With their process of elimination they concluded that the leak must be in the 4 small drain holes that are at the bottom of the spa that are not connected to anything. I spoke to the tech that was doing the testing, if they can guarantee that this is where the leak is, and the tech said no. I asked the tech, based on your process of elimination, if I hire you to do the work, will the leak stop? And his reply was I dont know. Then the tech asked me to pay for the leak detection and I refused because they could not guarantee where the leak is, instead I proposed that they do the work based on their process of elimination and once they finish the work, if it fixes the leak I would pay for the leak detection and also I would pay for the repair. American Leak Detection refused this proposal. They are requesting me to pay for leak detection, which they did not find. American Leak Detection was paid for work they did not do. They were paid $350 to find the leak, then they were paid $1250 to fix the leak, and the leak still exists. I contracted out another company to find the leak on 03.17.2015 and they found the leak in one of the jet lines. The lines were pressurized and were loosing pressure rapidly. It was extremely clear where the leak is. This new company found the leak right away, and not where American Leak Detection was proposing. If once again I would have paid American Leak Detection, I would have been in the same situation once again, where I paid them for leak detection and they did work on something that was not leaking and I would still have a leak.Desired Settlement: proposed settlement is refund for leak detection on 07.30.2014 of $350 and refund of unrequited work done on 08.25.2014 of $1250.

American Leak Detection performed a leak detection on a commercial spa on July 30, 2014. During this visit, a leak was found on a spa jet line under the concrete deck. The warranty for this leak detection is 30 days. ALD was called back on September , 2014 to perform the repair on the spa jet line. This repair is under warranty for 3 years,ALD was contacted again on September 29, 2015 and asked to return because the spa was losing water. ALD returned on October 3, 2014 to do more testing on the spa. There was no charge for this visit even though the original leak detection was out of warranty. A leak in the skimmer was found. The customer hired a different company to fix the skimmer.ALD was again contacted in March of 2015 for a new leak detection of the spa. The charge of this leak detection should have been for 350.00, however ALD did give a discount of half off. The results of the leak detection were inconclusive. No leaks were found however there is a bubbler system that is on the spa that ALD was not able to test, ALD recommended that the bubbler system be abandoned for a charge of 350.00. The customer refused to pay for the discounted leak detection and insisted we make the recommended repair of abandoning the bubbler system for him at no cost.ALD has guarantees in place for detection work, due to the fact that plumbing leaks, at any time. We went beyond our guarantee, sent a technician out at no charge, and when called again, discounted the detection fee. The customer did not pay us and refused to pay. We certainly will not do anymore repairs when money is owed to us. ALD cannot warranty the customers spa from future leaks as we did not build" the spa, we located the leaks in the spa. It is recommended to all customers to have located leaks repaired and to monitor waster loss within 30 days of the original leak detection.
