AF replaced the customer out with a brand new set

I had ordered furniture on 7/11/ but I had went in the store on 7/24/and took off the sofa and added a chair and sectionalthey said it would be here on 8/and still did not receive itI got in touch with the corporate office and they said that they would look into to it on 8/on 8/I got an email and that stated they would pass it along to managementstill nothingon 8/I told them the process was taking to long and I would be in for my money backwhen I went in to switch the furniture on 7/I had to pay a difference of 50$ which I paid on my cardwhen I went to the store to get my money back they refunded the 50$ back but said that they have to get the rest approved because it was cash and that it would be a check that will come to the store and we had to come back to the store to pick it upMatt is they person we dealt withwell I call yesterday 9/still no check the manager did not get on the phone and they said they would call back like always but never g

I purchased items from this store, first Item was a sectional in which I purchased in 2016, I also purchased an extended warranty in which I was told needed to be paid in cash, I went ahead and paidI started to have issues with the couch and I called in to let them know I paid for the warranty and my warranty was listed under my phone number but there was no sign of my warranty at allSo I had to take that lossI went back and purchased beds one wooden bunk bed set and another wooden single twin size bedThis was either July or August of I paid extra for delivery and was told we had a year warranty on all woodNow the delivery people did not get to my house until 10pm and did not finish until after midnight They seemed to be putting everything together with no problem I came in and examined the furniture with my husband and the wood was missing, the slacks were not screwed in and the bed was wobbling to the touch the ladder was also loose and it could only be used

We apologize for any miss communications! Customer came in today and we upgraded them to the Icelandic King, customer has been reselected

AMERICAN FREIGHT will not deal in manipulation and vengeance! Our sub-contracting delivery service took out a mattress and box spring to this customer, he wished the delivery service and was told up front that after delivery/labor was done that the sub-contracting delivery service must be paid
cash, he schedule a deliveryAfter delivering to his home customer notice box spring was damaged….we said we would take it back and bring back to his home the next day a new oneThis customer said no and demanded it immediately which the sub-contracting delivery people said they could not (they make their own schedule) and would make sure he would be delivered next day very first customerCUSTOMER AGREED AND PAID THE DELIVERY COMPANYThat same day this customer called the store and became aggressive and foul so disrespectful no one could reason with him….not even myself and wanted refunded and his old furniture back, we explained our sales are final, this is on his receipt and signs over all our counters saying “ALL SALES ARE FINAL” NO REFUNDS and explained his options….see below
Please explain to Mr*** his options, still happy to have our sub-contracting delivery company come out to make the exchange on the box spring...but there will be no refund only an exchange

American Freight sympathizes very much with this customers, a horrible experience to go through! This customer bought a mattress May of 2014, more than 3 years ago with the mattress pad to protect it. With this pad came a warranty and inside the
packaging are the warranty guidelines if the customer wanted to file a claim. Also investigations showed that this mattress did not meet the manufactures year warranty for a replacementThis customer called our store and explained her situation and wanted to file a claim for a replacement of a mattress and that she had bought the pad also which would warrant the mattress if ever any damage. Our Store Manager, our Regional Manager, our Vice President and myself all spoke to her and explained over and over that "Acts of God and/or nature" are not covered under this Warranty, that warranties are not INSTANT replacement and the specific guidelines must be meant for any replacement and that refunds are not a part of this warranty offered, only replacing the damaged item with the same item was. This customer argued the fact that she was told different by our salespeople, that she was told a refund would be given instead of a replacement. American Freight Sales people know that all warranties that are sold for other companies by American Freight have guidelines that must be respected and that refunds pertaining to this warranty was never an option.Nevertheless, in good faith we told this customer because of the nature of her complaint we would give her $% off on a replacement mattress and marked her receipt in our data base accordingly. This customer became outraged and began to call our store and corporate office repeatedly. During rages and the disrespect on the phone to our Store Manager this customer admitted that they had misplaced their insurance check.To summarize…..Our company felt we had explained the warranty process well so to be understood and would give a good discount on a replacement mattress but every time we communicate was every time customer would become aggressive and unreasonable. Please help us explain that she will not be refunded nor will she receive a free mattress but she would receive a 25% discount on a replacement

This was the worst shopping experience I've ever had on multiple levelsOn May 17, I went to American Freight in GoodlettsvilleThe mattress I needed was not in stock as it was advertised on the locations website The store manager then told me that they could order it but that it would take up to a month to receive After a month I contacted the store and was told the item I purchased and was waiting for was "discontinued" This had not been communicated to me what-so-ever until I called them wondering where my mattress was that I had already paid for I then went to the store's location and requested a refund The store manager told me that since I had paid in cash that a corporate check would have to be issued and that it could take up to weeks After weeks, I contacted the store manager again, was put on hold numerous times and was finally told that they "don't know what happened" to the check and was hung up on I then contacted the American Freight corporate office, left messages over a week time span and never received a call backIn the meantime, I contacted the store location and had them re-issue another corporate check and was told it would be another weeks After yet another weeks and no refund check, we contacted the general manager for the 3rd time and he was finally able to give us some kind of resolution It is now August 3rd and we are just now getting the refund check The shopping experience and customer service was horrible in the store as well as the corporate office I will never, ever again even consider purchasing anything from this company in the future

The problem is they lied to me about what the warranty coveredThey specifically promised it covered pet damages and it doesn't

My husband and I purchased a home in May, closing wasn't until August due to paperwork issues so we went hunting for new furniture as the home we had been renting was found with Black Mold (they cleaned it up right away but why risk it?) We Found American Freight Furniture by accident and thought why not check them out? We ordered living room sets, coffee and end tables and a night stand We elected to use the layaway option since we would not need the furniture delivered until August anyway We were told upfront it could take up to days from pay off to get our furniture so I made sure we paid the order in full before we needed it Our original Sales person was great zero complaints with him We get our updated closing date on our house and I call to arrange delivery..still good Delivery day comes no furniture I call and they tell me I am on the list and they will call as soon as the furniture is loaded on the truck Business is closed still no delivery and no phone call I call again the following day and was told there was an oops in the system and my delivery day was accidentally set for the following day so it will 100% be delivered that day Delivery was not until almost 5pm, "delivery company" was a guy in a pick up truck with a *** trailer He brought in the living room furniture no problem, delivered the night stand as well Box the coffee and end tables in were damaged so my husband made him open them and sure enough one of the tables was broken so we refused it, 2nd set for our basement would not fit through the one door the delivery person wanted to use, instead of trying the other entrance which I am 100% sure it would have fit through he took it back to the store I called the store the next day to arrange for the broken tables to be replaced (which they did, took almost a month but I got them) and to select a different furniture set for the downstairs since the sectional we ordered "wouldn't fit" I did not want a different set wanted the original set and brought a measuring tape, however they the replacement set they offered my husband really liked so I let it go and we accepted it We did NOT want delivery since I refuse to pay another $to have furniture delivered when if he had done it correct the first time he would not have had to take back to the store Took approx weeks for replacement set to come into the store, took me a while to get a truck to pick it up, it is right where we wanted it and fine so far This was August 6,the original living room furniture was delivered Today is 1/3/and it is falling apart already Cushions have gone completely flat and I am pretty sure if not both frames have literally snapped I sent pictures as requested and have more to send My issue is I do not want a replacement set of the same furniture as the same issue will continue to happen I am even ok with not being able to get a refund, I would simply like the option to choose another set and get it delivered to me at no charge Seems very difficult to work with this company I had intended to purchase several other pieces from them in the future but have opted to go a different route based on my current experience

I ordered a pink bed frame that has a bottom drawer down on the bottom, when the delivery people came and dropped off the product I put the bed together and saw that it was the wrong frame so I called the store the next day and she apologized for the mistake and she said she would take care of the problem and order the correct one and it would get dwlivered in a couple of weeksI have been waiting months and called the store to see what the hold up was and the store manager Juan said that I have to pay a difference to get the bedFirst of all I purchased the right frame and they made the mistake on theyre end so why are they giving me a run around now? We are an electrical contractor doing work out of townWe used American Freight Furniture-Mattress Store in North Richland Hills, TXAddress NAirport FWY I discussed with Anthony that we'd like to buy mattresses and sofa for $1,When our electricians went to pick up the items listed above Anthony took it upon himself to up sell every single mattressUnbeknownst to my on site employees they signed for all of thisI was unaware of this until the bill came in at OVER TRIPLE the agreed upon price $3,Once I found out about this I instructed my electrician to return all of these products and of course "All sales are final, no returns." My idea of customer service and that of the American Freight Furniture store is completely differentWhen someone has paid for a service or item, you would think that they would have given the particular item of purchase to their supposed to be valued customerOn the first mishap, they sent the wrong furniture (a sectional and a love seat), the second time, they sent a love seat and the sofa (did not match in style or color), the third time they requested that we actually go and pick up the furniture that we purchased from THEMConsidering they made the mistake in delivering the wrong furniture both times they should have had no problem delivering RIGHT furniture the THIRD timeEven with all of this being said, with the duration of this whole ordeal, it took at least SIX MONTHS for us to come to a conclusion(by that I mean my husband went and picked it up even though he was not supposed to due to his health)We spoke to a few supervisors including someone by the name of Robert and

Purchased a lot of furniture from this store the the sales associate Ensure the warranty I have purchased was for any damage and that it was a yr protection plan, which was a lie and was all hear sayIt was completely bogus, and have not received any detailed documents stating the policy of guardian value planWhen I first purchased my bedroom set, I purchased a living room set with coffee tables and end tables, they had the coffee table in stock so I brought it home and put it together, it was damaged as soon as I opened the boxPaid the 70$ bogus delivery fee and had called and taken photos of the damaged goods that were purchasedSo when scheduled for delivery they were to take back the damaged table and bring a new upon deliveryThe store was unorganized with the delivery because the delivery guys had note such statement regarding the message to do soSo I wait again and they finally found the new coffee table and delivered it the same day with the rest of the goodsUpon retrieving the bedroom set, and the living room set, after they left I was excited to put together my furniture and started taking it out of the boxesEverything but the couches were damaged, I took pictures and called and showed the sales associates at the store what they sold meThey were to set another time to pick up and deliver the new replaced goodsWell, they waited forever to schedule it and turn around and gave me the run around, to the point I had enoughI finally got the number for the warranty place that is not specified on sales receipt of course you can only claim incidents that happened with in days! I've been trying to get this resolved since May 2017!
