I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  I spoke with Ashley ** from an Ashley Furniture Homestore Corporate Friday 10/7/16.  I was able to explain the issues to Ashley ** and after apologizing for going through what I have for the past several months for a manufacturer defect that was clearly out of my control, she issued me a store credit to go and pick something else out completely. I was able to get an answer and get the issue resolved in 20 minutes with her compared to the MONTHS it took me with [redacted] in [redacted], GA and the customer service number.  They should have done a better job at listening to their customer, so Thank you to Ashley ** from corporate!! You were very understanding and effective.  She even told me to reach out to her personally if they gave me any issues at the store or with delivery.  I went to another location and picked out another sofa.  It delivers next weekend on the 22nd.

customer’s situation, we do apologize but we will not be able to fulfill
the customer’s desired resolution that he is requesting. The customer purchased
these items back in 2007, and per his warranty booklet that he received at time
of sale, it clearly states the manufacturer’s warranty is only for 1 year. As a
courtesy we sent out a trained technician on 3/12/11 to inspect the furniture.
The technician reported that everything was up to manufacturing specifications.
We would like to assist the customer with his situation by offering a discount
on a new purchase of his choosing. He may take advantage of this offer by
visiting the local retail location to where he made his original purchase. Regards, Ashley

I accept the time frame to reselect a new table, however to pick one out and have it delivered by the 12th doesn't seem enough time.  The selection can occur tomorrow perhaps but the table -the first time was out of stock- and was undelivered for roughly 5 weeks.  If that situation were to happen again such a time frame to "be delivered" as a clause of the agreement is not feasible. I will be in the store within the next week either Saturday 30DEC17 or the following Tuesday first thing to reselect a new table entirely.  I just want to clarify my understanding; I am to receive an entirely new table of my choosing -paying difference it necessary- and not an exchange of the one I currently have.  If that is what I am led to believe I will proceed.     [A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.  If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

July 6, 2917 I received a call from  [redacted] a manager of Ashley Furniture in Wesley Chapel, Fla.She told me their delivery men would be here on Sunday July 9 th to pick up the furniture in dispute and that we would get a refund on Monday July 10th. The men arrived at 3 pm on Sunday July 9 th. Now we are awaiting our refund, which was suppose to have been made yesterday. I will let you know as soon as it has been done. This is the only time we have ever found the need to return furniture. I can't tell you how much we appreciate your help. [redacted]
