I used Academy Mortgage to purchase my first home. They were absolutely wonderful! They communicate very well throughout the process, they are willing to work with you in a timely manner, and they are very organized. I was never asked for the same document multiple times or told they could not locate something. There was always someone willing to answer any questions I had at any time. I could not have asked for a better experience!

I contacted Paula after having used her team for the purchase of my condo 2 years ago. I had such a great experience I decided to go back. Paula was able to jump over some hurdles that I honestly thought would be the end of my re-finance. I heard from her on a daily basis with updates, everyone was polite, knowledgeable & explained things in a way I would understand. I couldn't have had a better experience with Brick M and his team, Julie C and Claire H. I contacted Brick a couple of months ago with a bevy of questions about not only a primary mortgage loan from Academy, but with questions about some ancillary financing that Academy does not offer. Brick walked me through each of my options step by step, helped me maximize my credit score to get the best terms on the primary mortgage, and put me in touch with another lender who could help me with the ancillary financing. Our closing was on schedule, and throughout the entire process I don't think I had to wait more than an hour or two to have any questions answered-Brick, Claire, and Julie were more communicative than any bank I've ever worked with. Even when there were periods of inactivity, Brick would call from time to time to let me know that everything was still on schedule. My interest rate was competitive with, if not better than, what the bigger lenders were offering, with the added benefit of consistently being able to talk with someone who actually knew my name and the contents of my file. I think, generally speaking, there are almost always moments of frustration when going through the loan process, but I did not have a single complaint. They made the process as stress free as is possible. Should I ever need another mortgage loan, Brick will be my first call.
