*** *** ** *** Dear ***, Complaint Handler ext: ***The Revdex.com: This message is the reply to my complaint (ID# ***) that I submitted on 3/15/against Ziebart Syracuse Rust Proofing, *** After reading *** ***’s, Sales Manger’s, response I did further investigation and called the *** *** *** *** ***, ***I spoke with a representative out in San Antonio, TX that represents the Syracuse, NY area for ***, named *** ***I explained my situation to him, he said that they stopped selling *** Paint Protection Film with that particular Ziebart back in November of He referred me to another client of his in the Syracuse, NY Area which is *** *** ***, ***., to look over my vehicle Upon inspection of my vehicle’s front bumper I found out that not only was my paint protection film installed on the bumper incorrectly, but also, that it was the wrong bumper cut out kit installed on my vehicleThe correct front bumper cut out kit that was supposed to be installed is model # P0819S-UUpon finding out this information I called *** ***, Sales Manager of Ziebart Syracuse Corpand explained to her the situation that I just explained above and that the Revdex.com would like for us to work things out one-on-one We set an appointment up for Friday March 18th, for approximately 10:amShe told me she would have one of her experts of installing paint film of years take a look at my vehicleHer expert looked it over and after his inspection he informed her that the job could have been done better and confirmed that they did in fact install the wrong *** model paint protection film kit on my front bumperI then was asked to meet with *** *** in her office to discuss thisShe asked me how I would like this problem resolvedI told her I wanted what I originally stated in my Revdex.com complaint which was that I would like for either a full refund or for them to do the quality work that Ziebart was supposed to do and replace my front bumper with the correct *** Paint protection filmShe then opted to do the replacement of my front bumper in its entirety with the right *** kit and would also throw in a free full detailing job of both the interior and exterior/ diamond gloss of my vehicle I said that all sounds good, but I have two concerns: is that *** *** told me that he does not sell *** Paint Protection to this location anymore s*e November, and in your statement to the Revdex.com Misty- that removal of the old paint film on my car would remove paint from my front bumper and that is a concern of mine s*e you stated that and I want a guarantee that if damage does occur during replacement of the paint protection film that you will pay for the damages. They assured me that they still had boxes of the *** Paint Protection Film Product in stock to put on my car and also their Ziebart brand Paint Protection Film that they now carryThat the paint should not come off of the car during the removal processI stated that I paid for *** and I wanted *** and *** assured me they will have a roll of *** film for me on my appointment dateWith that being said, I have set up an appointment for Saturday April 16, at 8:am(I have attached a photo of the appointment card set by *** *** to have my front bumper kit replaced and detailed)I have also attached the *** Paint Protection Kit product guide with a photo and correct product number After my appointment I will update the Revdex.com on the status of this complaint Thank you for time with this matter. s*erely,John Valvo

Ok Well I figured they would say something like that I stick by what I said and no should have not been dismissed and certainly not then my head on his desk begging him not to make me broke I was quoted $on the phone for undercarriage and fenders to end up with this instead This is not buyers remorse-it's being taken advantage of I have gone to the nys attorney general as well This should never happen to anyone EVER again regardless of what happens in this situation.Regards,

Customer was refunded in the amount of

*** and I spoke yesterday about her experience and the services that she received, she was pleased with the overall results, but was unhappy about her (2) missing items from her vehicleI was able to recover the baseball cap and had no luck finding the painted angel, I went
ahead and sent her a gift certificate for dinner at *** ***, as a hands across the water gesture, for the poor communication on our part*** is very pleased with the end results and is a happy Ziebart customerCornelia T. Manager Ziebart Syracuse

Revdex.com spoke to Misty at business and the following was relayed: I have spoken to the customer several times about the card and the balance. He came in on 9/1 of this year for a free rust inspection. He purchased a full film package with upgrade. He was approved for $3500 and for 10% above the credit...

limit on the day the card was opened. When he received the first payment due, it included the $280 balance from above the credit line. If the customer agrees, we are willing resolve the issue and give him $280 credit in a gift card to use on any of our products/services. The card will have no expiration.

[redacted], Sales Manager, spoke with [redacted] on March 17, 2016 and explained to him that the Paint Protection Film he purchased for his bumper is in fact installed correctly. The film is cut using the cut out program supplied by E[redacted]. Patterns are based on each individual make and model, so cut...

outs are not all exactly the same. [redacted] received what he paid for and his bumper is being protected by the film that he purchased. Attached is a copy of the pattern for his truck's bumper. [redacted] also explained to him, that if the film was removed, there is a good chance that some of the paint could peel off, s[redacted]e the film adheres to the paint.

Revdex.com spoke to Misty at business and the following was relayed: We spoke to the customer yesterday and have agreed to cut him a check for the requested amount. The customer has agreed to this and this will be completed and resolved on Friday.

I explained the services that she received, she said she was pleased with the work done, just expected more when it came down to the deeper scratches, I let her know that those scratches would require...

Customer service is so important to us here at Ziebart. The top 2 pillars of our company vision are: top quality work and customer satisfaction. We have the utmost skilled technicians performing these services. When dealing with older vehicles like this one "10 years old", it's not out of the...

ordinary for a car to have broken/ fragile parts. Our technicians DO NOT use, nor do they have access to super glue, there aren't any services performed at Ziebart that requires super glue. My Sales Manager met with Mr. [redacted] 2 days after services were done, he stated that his friend "pulled on the door handle and it broke". We have on the average, 300 ecstatic customer's a week, every once in a while, there will be an issue, when that does happen, as the person that handles those situations, I can tell you that if we thought there was any chance that we caused this issue, we would take care of it. At this point, we truly do not believe that there is any fault or any responsibility on our part.

This sounds like a little buyer's remorse. Ms. [redacted] came in for Undercoating, which is a thick, abrasion resistant sealant that is applied to the most vulnerable part of a car/ truck's underside, the benefit of this product is, it protects vehicles from rust...

We apologize for not getting the gift certificate out. Cornelia, our Customer Service Manager left directions to do so, but she was on vacation and it got missed- we are sorry. It is in the mail. As for the overspray on the rims- that can easily be handled in a few minutes while you wait- no appointment necessary. As for any other concerns- we firmly standby our previous corresponding. I DO NOT want any Zeibart products as a settlement when its their poor workman's ship and lying salesman that created this mess to begin with , why would I want to go back? so I can get the same treatment? I have stated my offer and I think that is very fair for the poor workmanship and service and being lied to. I have yet spoken to the owner to try and settle this. Why? IF I receive anything from Zeibart for their products and or service I will send it back. if they can offer 300 dollars in products and service then 250 is a lot less applied to my account!!

Ziebart Rustproofing resolved [redacted] issue by refunding half the amount for initial remote starter cost. The refund was issued on 7/28/17 for the amount of  134.46. If you have any futher questions regarding this matter, please keep me posted.  Precious M. Ziebart's Customer...
