They underbid to get your business
My move was underbid by $2000 and 6 hours. Beware that this can happen. Go into it with your eyes open. The movers themselves were very nice and tried their best but the erroneous bid put a lot of pressure on them. The leg of my piano and grandmother clock got broken. Repairs were done.

The bosses of the employees the worst
They charged us a high price, we thought with my husband... they are very good, for the price, you pay high to have excellent service, David excellent service, Martin an excellent employee but the manager is the worst, the employees do not give the necessary tools to work, my living room furniture was full of hair from the blankets they used, a broken table arrives, three boxes of detergents, all the empty bottles, because everything is in disarray, they do not have the right things to pack the liquid, the employees do not have tools, or yes ... their teeth to cut the tape, the employees are good people but the owners of this company are the worst, they are only interested in hiring them, terrible, when they are going to give you the estimate they tell you that they are the best, they lost pieces of my bed, a bottle of collectable tequila arrived empty (it was in a wooden box) and the box arrived wet because the tequila spilled, I want to congratulate Martin, Luis, Rafael and another cu bathroom I forgot the name, guys you should go to work for another company that supports you,,, and they should give you training ohhh they forgot to bring my furniture from the balcony, because they did not pay attention to put them in the truck, the day of packing, they arrived short of materials, without tools, and then they offer you a sy offer for what they give, don't be fooled by this company ... it's just a name, value your employees and stop throwing all your sy at them, they are mediocre

they are the worst
You move me is the worse. Trust me. I hired them to move a 1300 sq ft apt in brickell to naples florida. I gladly paid 4300, believing that they were competent. That was a huge mistake. I was being overcharged. The mover didnt bring a credit card terminal. They didnt bring tools to take apart my bedroom set. HERES THE WHOPPER, the driver crashed into my high rise. They left furniture behind. They broke my conference table ($900 value) and are now offering me $171.00. They spilled liquids over some furniture. Bottom Line, DONT HIRE THEM.

They get 1 Star for showing up with a truck
The salesman came out and looked at the furniture in my house where no appliances had to be moved. He told me the move would be $1700 and put my credit card into a small card reader which had no printer, therefore no receipt. We agreed upon a date and time for arrival. The moovers appeared at the appointed time, and loaded the truck. When finished , the boss asked me for my credit card. I told that the man that set up the delivery already charged me, so he said "show me your receipt." Of course I didn't have one so this jerk charged me also. To move 12 miles from a 2 bedroom house cost me $4200! This company is made up of liars and thieves, not to mention scrapes and scratches on the furniture!

I am very sorry for our delayed response to you on this ***erOur company immediately reached out to [redacted] Crabs directly on Aug 5th in order to resolve this issue as quickly as possibleWe should have communicated our plan and interactions with [redacted] to you from August 5th onwardFor not doing just that, I apologize However, I am happy to inform you that this situation has come to a mutually agreeable and mutually happy ending On June 17th, we completed a move for [redacted] CrabsThe original plan was to move from her home in Madison, WI to a new house in Oregon, WIOn the day of the move [redacted] was unable to complete the closing on her house, so we moved her into a storage unit that she reserved as a last minute solutionThe move went smooth overallA couple days after her move, [redacted] came into our office and spoke with the general manager ( [redacted] ) [redacted] said she was pleased with the move overall, but there was a mini refrigerator that was left behind which she then had to move on her ownShe also mentioned that the movers seemed to take a little bit too long at the storage unit [redacted] expressed that her moving process was becoming more expensive than she originally planned because of the storage costs, and having to pay for a move into and out of storage We gave [redacted] a $discount and 10% off to help with these expenses and because she was a repeat customer We completed [redacted] 's move out of storage and into her new home on July 11th, The next day [redacted] called into our call center saying that her TV wasn't workingWe picked up the TV and brought it to our office to fix itThe TV was not working 100%The power on light was not working, and the digital control switches on the right side of the TV were not lighting up After evaluating the TV there was no physical damage, no loose wires, or moisture inside the TVAs it says in our contract, I informed [redacted] that we can not be responsible for the inter workings of electronics, which includes the TVAlso when moving customers into or out of a storage facility we can not be responsible for any previously damaged itemsWe have no control over what happens to her belongings while in storage After Receiving this Revdex.com complaint from [redacted] , our general manager called her on August 5thAlthough we did, and still feel very confident that [redacted] 's TV was not damaged by our movers during the moveWe wanted to help [redacted] through what is clearly a very difficult and stressful time in her lifeWe offered to pick up [redacted] 's TV, pay for it to get repaired, and deliver it back to her in working orderGeek Squad came to look at the TV on Saturday, August 8th There was one panel in the TV that wasn't quite getting enough power which is why the lights on the TV were not workingHe did a quick re-boot of the TV and it was working good as newWe called [redacted] to set up a time that would be convenient for her to have us deliver the TV back to herIt was arranged that our General Manager [redacted] would deliver the TV on Monday 8/ Today [redacted] delivered the TV to [redacted] and placed in on her TV stand in the basementThe TV was plugged in, turned on, and cable TV was hooked up to make sure it was working properly on all levels [redacted] was very pleased to have her TV back in working order In our books, this case is finally closed [redacted] is happy to have her TV working againWe are please to have a satisfied customer If there is anything else you need from us, or if you have any other questions, please just let us know Thank You, [redacted] and The You Move Me Team

Outstanding moving crew: Polite, well groomed, hard working! They had to carry a couch up to the fourth floor because the elevator was too small - no complaining, no "attitude" You Move Me has a set of fifty boxes of assorted sizes to help with packingI suggest you get it instead of making trip after trip to the grocery store or liquor store for boxes Make sure the estimator has a clear idea of how many boxes you will be moving and indicate if you are moving into a busy high riseGet a three person crew, not twoOne moves boxes while two move furnitureIt's faster so in the end will cost less money

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The floor repair will require days, 12-hours of complete dry time each day, of which my family is not able to reside in our residenceI spoke to the manager regarding the displacement of my family, and the total cost for accommodations being more then and we agreed to settle on a the sum once I had confirmed the exact amount of time we would need to be out of the house with the contractorI am requesting the general manager pay for nights of hotel expenses on westside of oahuI tried to contact the general manager several times after reviewing prices for hotels during the repairs, I asked for to cover the hotel expense, plus taxes and additional cost for boarding our pets This does not include cost for parking or foodI will absorb those expenses for my familyI request the general manager pay for our accommodations in full He has failed to respond or acknowledge our attempt to agree on this The general manager did secure a floor repair with a reputable company after nine months of myself and spouse reaching out to himMatt only contacted us when we persisted he fix the repairs and accommodate our family to ensure the floors are repaired in the manner of which we purchased the house Sincerely, Jeff And Jessica K [redacted]

I used You Move Me to move my family from Toronto to Oakville last monthOverall the guys did an amazing jobMy wife commented on how quickly they worked and was impressed that they came in almost $under budgetWe loved the plant and coffee; nice touch!

The words cannot describe how grateful I am to youI have filed a complainagainst you move me company originally within the company and they neverresponded and ignored meBut when I reached you , you have not only helpedme by making them contact me but they have also decided to pay $forthe damage to the materials they have cost meI have paid them 900$ for themove but since they came back with that number I would like to close thecase by accepting that amount and thank you for the bottom of my and myfamily's heart for helping us outIt feels good to know that there is asomeone out there who can stand for some who has no help

Worst moving experience ever Have made four inter-national moves and numerous intercity and intracity moves and this is the one I would like to forgetWe went with You Move Me because their quote was lower than competitorsWe Moved a lot ourselves with numerous van/suv's and trailer loads thanks to great friends and also a uhaul truck rental one day Didn't much matter because the final bill was higher even though we had moved most of the boxes and a ton of furniture ourselvesWe had been told that the price from the original estimate would come down the more we moved, but that was not the case
A Decorative piece on one headboard fell off during the move but they never mentioned itWhen making the bed, I found the piece behind the headboard on the floorJust today my husband (who has been busy working on emptying boxes in the basement so the furniture can be arranged), discovered a leg missing from one of the sofasBut none of the movers thought to mention that they had lost it In the move! They were ready to leave and I mentioned to my husband that they had not put together our sons bedThey had taken apart a queen bed and a full bed and had put all the pieces together in one pile- we made them sort out which pieces went with what and set up the full before they left
After they left, we went to make our bed on the main floor and discovered numerous boxes and luggage piled on top of itAll was labelled basement but they just couldn't be bothered carrying it down the stairs My husband told them also that if there was any question about anything as to where it belonged or it was unlabelled, ask or just take it down the basement since that's where we were storing everythingBut either they were lazy or couldn't read because clearly labelled items for the basement ended up on our bed What mover ever unloads boxes on a clients bed?
Upon return to our home that we were moving out of, we found a whole storage area that had been left - my husband had walked through with the team leader and pointed out everything that was to go and showed him the storage area, but since the movers did not have a clipboard with a check list of all that was to go, I guess that's why it was forgottenSo we had to call up one of our good friends again with their trailer and loaded up cars, a trailer and our van for yet another trip to our new town 1/hour away
They left in their wake Numerous dings on wooden floors(saw them dragging furniture rather than carrying it) and scrapes and gouges on many wallsThere was little respect for our possessions and home and no pride in workmanship No carpet cover runner was ever used to protect floors A few days later we had a hot water heater deliveredThe men put down and a runner sheet over our stairs going down to the basement and it reinforced that that was something that was definitely lacking in the care for our property from you move me
My husband has been in contact with this company and also head office in regards to our legitimate grievances We requested a 15% refund ( about $250.) in lieu of damages,items left behind at the old house and the work we had to do to move items to their labelled respective areas in the new home - but that was never offered They did offer to come and clean our carpeted basement stairs and to look at the damage on the walls and wood floorsMy husband reinforced repeatedly that there was no point in them coming to clean the carpet until they could verify that they would Scotchgard over the cleaningThat request was also ignoredWe have cleaned carpets before and know the value of reapplying Scotchgard or a similar product after the cleaning, otherwise you end up with dirty carpets in a very short time again- in reality it doesn't take long for them to look worse than the originalSo they have cancelled all negotiations at this point and we are in dispute with the final bill
We would never ever tell anyone to use this company Protect your belongings and your piece of mind and use someone elseIf you do use them, hope and pray you never have a problem that you have to work out with them after the move ***

We did not agree on that amountI was refunded $and did take down my Google review but it is going to cost me more than that for all of the damage that was done. In my opinion, as well as the family attorney, the entire bill should just go away due to what I am having to endure and out of pocket expenses

has come to out attention that first we were notified of just electronics missing, then after we apologized and offered to reimburse, the mention of an expensive hand bag is brought up Now for the first time the mention of a chair possibly being forgotten as well Here are the facts we currently have:1) All the boxes were packed by you, the customer. 2) The customer also moved some boxes in their own private car.3) There was no mention of a high value hand bag until after we had offered to pay for the missing boxes. We are happy to continue to work with you, or anyone else to come to a final solution to this problem Please let me know if there is anything else I can do We take losing and stealing very seriously, and if we need to involve *** Police Department to further the investigation we are happy to do so

I am rejecting this response because: Yes we packed our stuffs by ourself that's way we know what stuffs have been missed during moving to to our new home.We carry some junk stuffs, such as cleaners bottles, vaccumes because we would use after moving to clean our apartment.After drivers left we tried to set up TV area and realized DVD machine, Internet Cable box and *** were missedIt was hours later they leftI called your office right way, but it was answer phone and never called back until I called your main office next day.We were opening boxes and setting up a little by little carefully, because we knew we missed some stuffs,then realized missing a healthscale, my father's keepshake and my sholderbagOf course these are only part of our missing because we cannot remember all stuffs which were packed togetherTo open boxes and set up are not easy, we can not realize missing stuffs right awayIt is impossible to list up all missing stuffs in one time.As I told you we don't keep receipts for them, because we don't need receipts once we buy items and satisfied them.We have used moving companies many time, but never happened before, and very upset.
