I am having problems getting my refund
I purchased a vacation package from Wynpoints Resorts Rental in the amount of $496.00 confirmation# *** on March 28,2019 through paypal. I canceled my purchase with in the 15 day for a full refund. I called the number listed spoke to someone one time and they stated it should be on the way since that conversation I have been blocked from that number but if I call from another it is picked up. I called today and was hung up on when I asked about my refund.
A full refund as stated
Refund has been processed and have attached a copy of refund proof thank you.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On July 15,2019 I received a notification that I had been refunded my full refund but it was pending until July 18,2019 at which time it was cancelled. I emailed Wynpoints Resort Rentals Inc. informing them that I still haven't received my refund and was looking into my legal rights and possible class action because this company is a fraud and the public should be aware
We have already issued the check thank you and we wish you the best of luck finding future travel deals.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Your company is a fraud and not to be trusted by no means examples of continual ongoing fraud is evident in your course of action concerning your consumers. I will not and don't accept no kind of check from your company just recently you sent me a screen shot as proof of payment to me from PayPal the same method as you received payment from me so why is it that you say you don't know why I didn't receive payment when you surely know you cancelled it while it was pending and remember you sent me proof of payment which show your continuance to commit fraud without regard to the laws which govern business practices if your screenshot was proof of payment to me then why am I still waiting since March 2019 for a 100% refund due to me no later than 30 business days do the math so absolutely no way I will ever accept no type of check from your company so cancel it like you did PayPal and please send my refund back the same way you accepted it.CLASS ACTION IS IN THE WORKS
booked trip, told after confirming multiple times that I have no where to stay and no refund.
attached I have all emails and receipts from booking my honeymoon trip to Hawaii. I did this on 6/26/18. was told they didn't accept credit cards(should have realized the scam here) and had to use checking account. on that date I confirmed 9days/8nights on june 25th 2019 to july 4th 2019. after I was told I can pick my location, which I tried to do in august but was told to check back in January for booking as it was too early. I did this as you can see sent three emails with no response so I called, they told me as long as I sent the email I should be good to go, again I emailed in February because I still hadn't received confirmation, they told me to call, which I did because I was really concerned I was not going to get the hotel I want and needed to book my airfare soon. They always assured me everything was fine every time I called. then they told me to call 60 days before to arrange airfare, I called on april 22. they told me to email and ask for link. the link showed no benefits and I decided to book airfare through airlines themselves, and was told just to send my itinerary for airport pickup which I also paid for on January 10th, 2019( see attached). now 8 days before were leaving for Hawaii, I call again to confirm everything and now they were trying to say they had me set up for june of 2020, there is nothing available where I am traveling to and said refund request is a 15 day process where I have to call back and check the status. in all my emails and multiple phone calls never have we spoken of the date 2020. Now I have no where to stay and have over 2500 invested in trip on top of this 1200 and forced to book last minute hotel which I really don't have the money for unless refunded for this trip I will never be able to again take. I think I have shown enough proof that this mistake was in their error and should be refunded in full !!! 899.00 on june 26th 2018 and 198 on January 10th, 2019. I called and confirmed and did everything I could humanly due not to be at fault here, now I am seeing they have done the same thing to multiple people last minute this year alone!
I want a full refund of the 899.00 I paid on june 26th 2018 and the 198.00 I paid on January 10th 2019. Or I am filing the police report and taking it to court if I have to. Too many people have been scammed the same way for this to be legal
Hello,
Our over booking and cancelled reservation policy is upfront information. This customer had other resorts to choose and refused to use the package under the program. No refund will be issued customer has 2 years from date of purchase to travel. Customer must provide at least 30 days advance notice to book dates thank you.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was not aware that after confirming my hotel overthe phone multiple times that you would then change everything 8 days before my trip. I know you have the recorded conversations of me calling and your employees telling me and assuring me that my hotel was confirmed. I waited to book my flight for this reason which would have cost me double the price to change last minute. You wanted me to change to a whole different island which would have required booking new flights. If you provided me options in maui I would have gladly changed hotels but you didn't. I know you have conversations and emails with my dates for 2019 and phone recordings and emails of me confirming my hotel and your employees tell me I have nothing yo worry about. This is a scam. I filed a police report today. Also I called the hotel you cancelled and they are a timeshare and never heard of your company and said they dont even book rooms to people like that, which leads me to believe you guys are putting hotels not associated with you on your website and changing last minute because you never worked with the hotel to begin with.
Hello,
Terms and conditions on over booking/cancelled reservation are upfront information. Customer has 2 years to use the package no refund will be issued per the terms of the purchase thank you.
I made a reservation through Corporate Travel Deal, but later made a decision to cancel my reservation. However, I never received my refund of 396.00.
I made a reservation through Corporate Travel Deal, but later made a decision to cancel my reservation. However, I never received my refund of 396.00. I made my payment on 4/18/19 of 396 through apple pay (a copy of my payment is in attachment). I made reservations for a resort stay in Las Vegas.
I am expecting to receive my full refund of 396.00 back that I paid for this trip. The company advised me that I would get my refund, however, I have not received it. When I call the company, they send me straight to voicemail. However, when I call from a different line, someone answers then disconnects the call once I acknowledge who I am.
All date certain vacation reservations are non refundable. The customer can use the package anytime in the 2 year period per the contract.
Document Attached***
The company advised that I would get my refund after I cancelled my reservations. They then did sent me documents regarding obtaining my refund. I am assuming they have called id because they started screening my calls and not answering when I called from my cell phone. However when I called from someone else phone they would answer then hang up the phone when I mention my name and my continuous request for my funds. I have attached documents they sent me with the threats and acknowledgement of me suppose to get my refund. However I never received my refund.
Service agent was rude and raised his voice. He called me disgruntle and put me on a "disgruntled list" and would not let me speak to a manager.
I was told on the call in April 2019 that I would be receiving a full refund due to the inconvinence of my trip being canceld the day of. The information given during that call contradicted the conversation on 6/3/19. The agent on 6/3 was rude and accused me of not hearing the agent that I spoke with in April. The calls are recorded but he would not let me speak with a manager and instead insulted me and said he would put me on a "disgruntled list" because I was not following the program. He said that by asking to speak to a manager that I was not following the program and he instead continued to read me scripted disclaimers. When I continued to ask to speak with someone else, he said that he put me on the list he referred to and that now I was limited in where I would be able to go because their locations "wouldn't want someone that is trouble." I did not raise my voice or use any foul language. I just continued to ask to speak with someone else because this agent was rude. He also stated, 'we can't just take the customers word," regarding my telling him of the conversation I had in April 2019. I was told in April that I would receive a full refund and that I could expect it in 30 days. I was even told the amount I would receive back. The agent that I spoke with today said a lot of things that directly contradicted what I was told before. I believe this company may be a scam because when I tried to return to their website it is not longer there.
I would like a full refund that I was promised in April 2019. Also, I was told that all calls are recorded and if that is true, then my call from April will prove the information that was given to me.
This customer may only travel to Wyndham or WestGate resorts based on her actions regarding her reservations. The payments for the reservations are non refundable. Customer has 2 years to use the vacation and must provide at least 30-45 days advance. All reservations are on standby until the finally conformations are received.
Call costumer service, spoke to James he did a great job on assisting me with my vacation to Mexico, Th***....can't wait to go enjoy myself with my husband ð???ð???ð?¥³!!
Company charged me $2791 for a vacation package and did not deliver. They promised a refund and then tried to settle for 400.00
In February I was sent a coupon for a cheap vacation. I contacted the company and took the deal after talking to a Neil T of Wynpoints report rentals (888)9605523 this was 398.00 dollars
The next week I called back and extended the room nights from 4 to 6 and upgraded to an Ocean Front room. This was a 1295 dollar charge. The vacation resort was in Jamaica
Nothing was clear with this company and I was worried they might not be legitimate. I talked to a friend who had dealt with them before and got a positive response
I had shopped for airline tickets and knew the prices so I called them back and asked them to book the tickets as well. The coupon offered discounted tickets.
This was 998.00 dollars. They also sold me on prepaying a cab from the airport to the resort for 100.00 so I did this.
I was told that all of this would be solidified one month before the vacation. The vacation was schedule for 15 April and I was to all them on 15 March at which time I would get the details. I called on 15 March and was told that the resort was over booked. They wanted to know if I wanted a refund or wanted to reschedule to a different destination. I had already booked a room in Baltimore to meet my Girlfriend and had already booked a flight from Washington State to BFI . I told them I would take the refund. The refunded 398.00 after two more weeks. I called and asked about the rest of my refund, I was told this would take up to 60days and if I did not try to stop payment on the checks I would be fully refunded. I asked for an email confirming this and never received on. I have talked to Neil over 12 times and up too day, the refund was coming. Today I was told that only the airline tickets were authorized to refund, but that they had to deduct at 398.00 they refunded earlier. I said this was not acceptable and what about the room upgrades and Cab prepaid. He said this was still pending. It appears to be that this company is getting prepaid cash and using it for as long as possible. Something must be done to stop this.
I ended up having to pay a travel agency for the vacation
I am thinking that I cannot be the only one in this situation. If I cannot get them to refund the money I will contact a attorney, I just wonder if there is come class action. This company is scamming people and trying to use contracts as some excuse. There was not consideration for the money I paid them
Hello,
Our affiliate company has already refunded the total ticket amount. Our companies over booking/cancelled reservations clause on the resort reservations are all upfront information. We provide all customers a contracted time frame to review all the terms and conditions of the package and cancel for a full refund in that period. Any customer outside the refund policy must use the package under the terms of the purchase. A refund request was submitted reviewed considered and denied. The customer has 2 years to use the vacation or may transfer the package to someone else thank you.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company refunded me 398.00 out of 2791.00 when I called 30 days prior to my trip as I was instructed to do.
I was informed the resort was overbooked and they gave me a choice of a full refund or booking another trip. I took the refund. They were aware of my situation and the planning which I had to do to coordinate this trip. This included booking a room at BFI airport, parting for a week for my Girlfriend, Round trip flight from Seattle to BFI, another night when we were to return late Friday night. The original amount was refunded ($398.00) within two weeks after that heart breaking phone call.
I asked for Neil to send me an email confirming this conversation which I never received. I called six more times and each time was told not to worry. I spent money on another vacation based on that was going to get back my 2700 dollars.
I was promised on the phone several times by Neil T that if I did not contest the other amounts he guaranteed that the balance would come within 60 days. On the 60th day he changed his position. What has not been refunded to me is the flights, the extended stay and an upgraded room to include a butler, the cap ride from the airport to the hotel. How can the company refund the original amount and not refund what has not been provided and has not consideration what so ever. They have used $2791.00 of my money since February. The strange way in which they conduct business leads me to believe a large part of the strategy is to use other people's money. I should be asking for a refund on for all of the other expenses I had. If I have to go court I will seek the rest of the money I spent and possibly punitive damage as well
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have been refunded 398 dollars. There is a request in my box to down load a document sign software. I have refused to this from the beginning. I understand from Neil that it is an additional 400.00 but I cannot see this. How can they keep my upgrades? I am not opposed to keeping the original deal I was sent. But I am entitled to the cab ride, no butler, no waterfront view
and the additional 3 nights
This is 2393 less the 398.00 original deal
I can see losing the 398.00 but how can I loose 2393.00 for all upgrades and tickets that were never purchased.
Hello,
Per your contact all upgrades, add ons or additional nights are non refundable purchases. You have 2 years to use the vacation purchase all upgrade and add ons will be honored at that time.
Booked a trip with the company to Aruba for 5/22/19. Contacted company, told the trip was no longer available. No reschedule or refund.
I booked a trip with the company and started making payments, September 2018. All payments were made and I was told the trip to Aruba was scheduled for 5/22/209. After repeatedly contacting the company for several months requesting confirmation, I demanded some answers. I was told 20 days prior to departure that the trip was overbooked and I would not be going to Aruba. I was then advised that I could choose from 4 preselected areas, not of my choosing.
I went along with one of selections because I was advised I would not receive a refund. Needless to say, I did not receive confirmation for hotel or airfare. I have tried to contact the company on multiple occasions. The phone is answered by the same 3 people and they hang up when I provide my information.
The company requested that I pay with *** and or *** app (quick pay) which prevents me from disputing with the bank for a total of $2041.00
I would like a full refund for airfare and hotel accommodations.
This customer has disputed transactions with their creditor. We will fight the transactions as non refundable. Customer will have 2 years to use the package in the future thank you.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not dispute the refund with my financial institution, this information is invalid and incorrect. In addition, I have attempted to contact them on many occasions to discuss a full refund for my airline tickets and rescheduling the trip. They will not answer the phone, they hang up the phone when I mention why I am calling. I have not received any updates from the company regarding this matter. I do not believe that they are honoring a refund or the option to reschedule the trip.
This customer was traveling on a group travel package and transactions on her account have been disputed. We have done everything to assist this customer with re booking the vacation with no success. Once the customer was not happy a refund request was submitted. This customer or traveling partners in the group did not allow our company any time to approve a refund before disputing the transactions. Our terms and conditions are clear on disputed transactions. The package is non refundable thank you.
Just arrived to Ocean Walk in Daytona and it is beautiful! I can't wait to spend the next week here! Definitely worth it!
We are glad you are enjoying your vacation!
You book a trip, but when it comes time to travel you get told that they have overbooked and you need to change dates and/or location/destination.
My nightmare didn't begin until 10 days prior to my reservation. I purchased a travel package from Corporate Travel Deal on 01/25/19 for $696.00 for 4 people from an email I received at my work email address (see attachment Corporate Travel Promo). The person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Gave me the website c*** (the site is conveniently no longer there) to go to so I could see that they weren't a scam. It had great reviews and even a link to the Revdex.com that showed good reviews so I bought the package. On 02/28/19 I called back and booked my trip for May 16-20 to Turks and Caicos (see attachment ***). It was then that I was told I would be staying at the Beaches resort. I was thrilled. I'm a single mom of 3 kids. I work 2 jobs and this was the first trip I was doing for myself. I had seen something about an app for Sandals/Beaches for your phone so on 05/06/19 I downloaded it to my phone but the confirmation number I received from CTB (***) didn't work to create an account. I then called the *** number to get my reservation number only to find out that there wasn't one. I called the CTB XXX-XXX-XXXX at 5:11. The person that answered the phone just answered and said "hello?". I was told that they closed at 5:00 to call back at 9:00 am. I started getting suspicious and looked up Wynpoints Resort Rentals (the name on my PayPal receipt). There was an address and phone number in Florida for them. When I called that number (XXX-XXX-XXXX) the phone was answered "hello?" again. I asked where I was calling and the guy wouldn't tell me. Once, I revealed I had a trip I was having trouble with, he said it was Corporate Travel. I asked a few questions and got his name (Brian), employee number (XXXX) and that there are several affiliates that Wynpoints Resort Rentals uses. Some of them are *** and arbnb Wynpoints. Some of them are actual websites, some are not. I called around 9:10 and was told by Christian that I needed to call back at 10:00 am. When I told him I was told the day before by 2 different people to call at 9, he insisted on 10:00 and hung up on me...so I called back again at 10:00. Every time I called the phone was answered with "hello?", not a business name. This time I was speaking with James. After finding several reviews on the Revdex.com of how people were scammed and got the run around (the stories were all the same), I merely said that I had called the resort and they didn't have my reservation. He put me on hold and when he came back told me that They had been overbooked and I would have to go different dates or change locations or islands. Well, I had already bought airfare, taken time off of work, arranged child care and pet care as had the 3 people going with me. I told him that I wanted a resort on Turks and Caicos for the dates I had reserved and had plane tickets for or I wanted my money back. I was told they had 3 resorts (Beaches, ClubMed and One on Marlin) and they were all booked. He started repeatedly reciting their terms and conditions which state AFTER it says "In the event of an over booking...CTD will work with the resort to secure the same or superior accommodations." that they can basically change dates, locations, islands, etc. When I told him I had, in fact called the resort the night before and they had at least 2 rooms available he threatened to disconnect with me. When I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor, he said he would do that but that I would be on hold for 45 minutes. When I told him that I had already called PayPal and told them my suspicions (that this is a scam) and that I was going to open an investigation he told me they would sue me. He did offer me another trip, where they could *** me all over the place and probably never end up on, for my troubles though.
I want the trip I booked for May 16-20, 2019 at a 4/5 star resort on Turks and Caicos or my money back.
This customer has already disputed her transactions with her creditor. We will fight the disputes as non refundable as our over bookings/canceled reservations clause is upfront information. Clause clearly says customer will be subjected to switch destinations or rebook in the 2 year timeframe. We do have other destinations available and ready to confirm this customers reservation. We also offered the customer 6/5 free vacation for having an over booking. None of the options satisfied this customer.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I personally called the original resort (Beaches) that I was supposed to be booked at and was told they DO have rooms available. They also work with two other resorts in Turks and Caicos from what they told me. I said I was happy with any resort they worked with in Turks and Caicos for the dates I purchased airfare for. They said everything was "over booked". This is how they get away with their scam.
The owner has made a special consideration and refund all transactions.
Wynpoints Reorts received payment for hotel and airfare to Aruba. I never received confirmation, told trip was overbooked, no refund no rescheduling,
I booked a trip with Wynpoints Resorts aka Corporate Travel Booking. I made 2 separate payments to Wynpoints via *** for 2 round trip airline tickets to Aruba at 499.00 each, totaling 998.00. I also paid an additional 594.00 for hotel reservations 12/26/2018 but not with ***.
The trip was scheduled for 5/22/19. I was told that I would receive an itinerary, hotel reservation confirmation and airline ticket confirmation upon my final payment within 48 hours. After not receiving Payment within 48 hours I contacted the company. I was then told 60 days prior to departure I would receive both a phone call and email confirmations. I never received either. I then called several times during the 60 day window. After 6 phone calls I was told that I would receive confirmation within 30 days, again nothing. On April 30, 2019, I was told the trip was overbooked and I would have to rescheduled.
Since then I have called at least 20 times trying to get an answer. I've been lied to, hung up on, places on hold for 30 and 40 minutes intervals. I've been told that I will not receive a refund, I will not be rescheduled because I am disgruntled. At this time no one will speak with me. I verified with American and Delta airlines, that plane tickets were never purchased. I contacted the hotel and reservations were never made with the hotel.

Hello,
Our 3rd party affiliate company has already refunded the total ticket amount. The standby resort reservation purchased through our company are non refundable. The customer has 2 years to travel and must provide at least 30 day advance notice to book dates. This customer can only travel to our Wyndham and WestGate resorts only! Once a customer become verbally insulting or continually cursing at representatives they are no longer qualified to travel to any other resort we work with.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The funds have not been refunded. If so, when should I expect to receive a refund. How will the funds be refunded? Will I receive confirmation or something in writing, stating I should expect a refund.
In addition, I should receive a refund for the "standby resort reservation" considering the company never booked the trip. I am now being told that I can only select from the hotels listed. This was not the agreement.
All company terms and conditions are upfront information. We provide all customers a contracted timeframe to cancel the reservation for a full refund if they do not agree to any of our terms and conditions of the program. The reservation will not be refunded as the customer has signed non refundable agreements. She must use the package for only the resorts she qualifies to travel no exceptions.
Just got back from WYNDHAM ROYAL GARDEN RESORT. Had a great time. The company got me a FREE UPGRADE to the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE!! Everything was on time.
I just got back from Tulum Mexico for my Birthday and it was best every. I'm planning my next trip now for Aungust....
Don't miss out!!! This is my first international trip.... and hands down the best. Customer service was excellent as well.
I was called 15days before I was suppose to leave, they had over booked , couldn't get me in another hotel and issued me a refund confirmation number.
I had booked a vacation with this company for feb28th-march4th to Miami FL, the booking went great until 15 days before I was suppose to leave I gave them a call because I hadn't received my hotel info only to find out they had over booked at that hotel and they also didn't have any other hotels to send me to at the time. They ended up putting in a refund request and giving me the confirmation number. The first man (that put in the request told me 15 days). I called back on day 15 and the new person told me 30. Well it is now over 30 days and I call and they answer and put me on hold only to hang up. Ever since then Ive called morning, noon and night and it says "We will be open today from 3pm-11pm" but even when I call between those times that same voicemail comes on.
I just want my refund in full, I wasn't able to go on the Miami trip for my birthday because there wasn't any other hotels to put me at.
Hello,
Customers vacation purchase is non refundable.
Over bookings/canceled reservations must reschedule per our terms and conditions. Customer has 2 years to use the vacation and must provide 30 days or more to book travel dates.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Yall not only put in a refund request for me but yall went as far as giving me a confirmation number so why lie? Then yall wont answer the phone to tell me why my money hasnt landed in my account and it has been over 30 days . Yall are a fraudulent company and I will definitely be taking this to court . My last question is what does this confirmation number go to if it's not for my money?
Hello,
We did have other resorts to switch into. This does not mean in the same area. You are able to use the package anytime in the 2 years. Thank you and we look forward to traveling you.
This company is fraudulent. I cancelled my booking after reading the reviews and from talking to co-workers. The company has failed to refund my money
My wife initial paid for a travel package to Jamaica from Corporate Travel Deal (Confirmation #: ***) as a graduation gift for my daughter. Two days later, she attempted to book a family vacation to Trinidad and Tobago for my cousins. Upon reading the review from Revdex.com and the timeline that was given for the itinerary, my cousins came to a conclusion that the company is a fraud and they decided to cancel the bookings. Remind you, my wife has paid for my daughter's Jamaica package but she has not received the itinerary after 48 hours. Neal contacted my wife and told her that my daughter's Jamaica trip has been cancelled because my cousins cancelled their trips to Trinidad and Tobago. My wife was liable for $3000 in collection and $50,000 fine for cancellation of the Trinidad and Tobago Trip. The fine and collection fees are not our concerns because we know that they are bogus charges. My wife didn't signed any contracts with regards to the Trinidad and Tobago Trip. The contract that my wife signed was for the Jamaica trip and it stated on the contract that the package was 100% refundable before 7 days from purchase. My wife has paid for a service that has not be rendered. As a veteran of the United States, It breaks my heart to see company like this take advantage of innocent people. The company should either give back my wife's money or gets her the services that she paid for. Neal and Joseph, the customer service reps were very arrogant and disrespectful. They threatened my wife that they will take her to court for breach of contract. Definitely do not recommend doing business with this Company because they are fraudulent business and the customer service is horrendous.
Refunded my money or provide me with travel itinerary for my daughter
This customer has made a few purchases with our company. After spending hours working with this customer and a few different family members. The customers all made a poor decision to stopped multiple payments costing our company time and losses/damages. The payments were made as add ons to a pre-existing group travel reservation. Our terms and conditions on stopped authorized payments are very clear. Reservations are canceled and we will seek damages. Any deposit payments made are non refundable.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I, ***, definitely do not accept the response from Corporate Travel Deal. The contract stipulated that we are entitled to 100% refund if we (in this instance, Corporate Travel Deal cancelled) cancel before 7 days of purchasing. The package to Jamaica (see attached) was paid in full ($1284) to Corporate Travel Deal through Cash App because Corporate Travel stated that they cannot accept credit cards. This raises suspicion that the Company was a fraud.
The stopped payment was for a separate transaction to Trinidad & Tobago. It has nothing to do with my daughter's Jamaica Trip (paid in full). My wife had referred some family members to Corporate Travel to purchase airline tickets to Trinidad & Tobago. After reading all the negative complains/reviews about Corporate Travel Deal, their no credit card rules, and no itinerary until the week before travel, my family members were concerned and they decided to stop their payments for their Trinidad and Tobago Trips through their various banking institution. Again the two are separate transactions. The Jamaica trip was paid for in full ($1284) and the contract (see attached) does not have anything to do with Trinidad and Tobago airline tickets. My wife paid for a service ($1284) that has not been rendered and she is definitely entitled to her 100% refund. All I am asking for is you either refund back our money or provide us with the travel package for the Jamaica trip that was paid for.
Management has done a full review on the file and has made a special consideration to do a full refund to this customer. We have issued a check to the address on file in the full amount.
We have also left the bonus trip 4 days 3 night vacation active to be able to be used any time if customer wishes to use it thank you.

Thank you so much Revdex.com for your commitment and hard work. I will accept the proposed resolution if and only if I receive the check from Corporate Travel Deal and the check is cleared by my bank.
Company never booked and confirmed my accommodations as agreed, and then refused to refund my payment.
I received an unsolicited fax (spam) from Corporate Travel (a.k.a. Wynpoints Resort Rentals Inc.) offering all-inclusive hotel accommodations at resorts for "80% off retail." I took a chance on the company because I was desperate for a deal on an upcoming trip.
In an effort to confirm my hotel, I called the resort directly and discovered that although Corporate Travel gave me a confirmation number for my accommodations, it was never sent to the resort and the resort never issued a reservation number (per the resort). The resort was over booked and would not honor the Corporate Travel reservation. (NOTE: Regarding my payment, the company insisted it be in the form of an electronic check instead of a credit card. Red Flag: This removed the consumer protection credit cards provide to dispute the charges.)
The company has a deceitful way to keep the money it receives even if it fails to provide a requested booking. Customers are asked to initial and sign a "Terms and Conditions/Refund Policy," which restricts the ability to receive a refund. But there is one particular sentence in the agreement that potential customers should be aware of. It states "I agree to the Terms and Conditions listed on this receipt and "on the company website." A page on the website states "The resorts have the option to cancel customers' reservations at any time for any reason. If your reservation is canceled for any reason including over bookings you cannot hold Wynpoints Resorts Rentals Inc. liable for any loses...In the event your reservations are canceled or over booked you will be subjected to switch destinations or reschedule your vacation for a separate time in the two year period no exceptions!" (Interestingly, the company purposefully does not include this language in the agreement you are asked to initial and sign, but instead hides it on a web page.)
In spite of this language, customer service representatives for the company told me, that a.) in an effort to provide good customer service the amount I paid would be refunded, and b.) later told me the refund was approved and would be mailed within 30 days.
In spite of these assurance, when I called after 30 days to check on the refund I was told the corporate office denied the refund. However, I expect the verbal commitments to be honored.
The company has the authority to provide a refund regardless of its stated terms and conditions. Additionally, I was led to believe refunds are often approved in extenuating circumstances. Therefore, I am requesting the company provide a refund in the amount of $597.00 as verbally promised to me by customer service representatives on multiple occasions. I expect the verbal commitments to be honored.
Our companies over bookings/canceled reservations polices are up front information. This customer may reschedule the vacation anytime in the 2 year period. No refund will be issued.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In spite of the company's terms and conditions and refund policy, a company representative told me I would be issued a refund. A second representative (James) told me the refund was approved and would be issued in 30 days. The company is now reneging on a verbal promise (pretending it was never made), which is a shoddy way to do business.
Hello,
This customer is making false statements at this time. No refund will be issued.
Booked s last minute trip to st Thomas in just a few minutes.. Brought my package last year...all legit!
At first I thought this was too good to be true but before I knew it my trip was booked and I was laying on the beach! When I tell people about the amazing deal I got they do not believe me. Looking forward to booking my next trip.
We are glad you enjoyed your vacation!
This company ruined my 30th birthday by cancelling my reservation without my knowledge out of spite. I flew all the way to Aruba for nothing.
I paid for this trip in November and spoke with Joseph a few days before to confirm. I paid for four people to go and I let him know that two people canceled and one would be arriving late. He told me that if my party canceled that cancels my entire reservation and it does not say that anywhere in the terms and conditions that I signed. I flew all the way there and had to pay out of pocket expenses for a hotel, ATM fees, travel, flights, long distance phone calls, etc. I paid for an all exclusive vacation and this company didn't even care that they left me stranded in a foreign country. They are insisting that I canceled when I didn't. If I canceled I would not have flew all the way there for nothing. Joseph was very rude and disrespectful when confirming prior to the trip. I have spoken to several representatives and they told me that my full refund would be approved and I will receive it in the mail. If I don't have my money back plus the additional fees and out of pockets I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION. This company is horrible, unprofessional, and an entire scam. It should be shut down and not allowed to advertise to people that have never traveled before.
I want my money back and I want this company to suffer consequences for taking advantage of people. I truly feel that UDAAP is not being followed properly. I want ALL of my money back, Please review documentation.
This customer canceled her own reservation. She may reschedule her vacation anytime in the 2 year period.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will not accept this response because if I truly cancelled my reservation then why would I fly all the way out to Aruba for nothing? That makes no sense! These people are is and they are chronic liars; it's pathetic! I let Joseph know that my friends could not make it and he was very disrespectful and told me, don't blame us because your friends cancelled". I told the gentleman to have a good day because I work at a bank and I couldn't curse him out like I wanted. I did not cancel my reservation. If the lines are recorded please fell free to listen to the conversations because I would like to know when how and why I cancelled. It says no where in the terms and conditions that if your party cancels the reservation cancels because I read it. I will never EVER travel with this company again because the trust is now broken. So you can keep your "free trips";it's probably a scam anyway. I have been told on several occasions by multiple representatives that I will be receiving a full refund, so where is my money ? Answer that!
Hello,
This customer canceled her own reservation. We explained to her when canceling all parties on the reservation besides one traveler the entire reservation will be canceled. She explained she wanted to go by herself and we explained she would be penalized and our company would be penalized also if only one traveler showed to the resort. All persons on the reservation must be at the front desk for check in. She traveled to Aruba knowing our policy and refused to accept our terms and conditions. The customer may use her package with a 30-day advance notice.
Just got off the phone with resort. Will be staying in cancun at Esmerelda Blue Bay Resort. Agent was ery helpful and made all arrangements for us. i'm looking forward to our vacation. I reccomend Corprate travel to anyone wanting to have a great trip.
Reservation cancelled 2 weeks before trip, refund withheld.
Booked Hotel Riu on 9/13/2018 for 12 occupants on Jan 17-20, 2019. Called on 1/2/2019 for confirmation number - they state they were going to call me to let me know there was water damage to our block of rooms and did I want a refund or change islands. Unable to change islands due to plane tickets already purchased. Told them I wanted refund. They gave me refund confirmation number, said I would receive certified check in 1 month. I wanted back on credit card, they claimed they would only be able to give half refund if done that way. Waited over a month, no refund check received, filed dispute with credit card company. We also called the hotel, and they stated that they could not confirm our reservation until 2 days before date of arrival!!
They are obviously in league with the hotel. I am guessing that they book at low price, and if they get other guests willing to pay more, they bump us off our reservations. And obviously, they should refund all the money I paid for a hotel reservation that THEY cancelled only 2 weeks before trip.
Once a customer disputes the transaction with their creditor we have no way of refunding the transaction.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I only disputed the transaction when I did NOT receive the refund I was promised - Claim number ***. I was told to wait 3 weeks for the check, and I waited almost 5 weeks. That was the point where I knew they were not going to refund my money without a fight.
They operate with threats and aggressive comments to keep the money they stole for services which have not been rendered. Is it not routine for vacation bookings to be refunded if the booking was cancelled? This is NOT how respected businesses operate in the United States.
This statement from the customer is false. Once a customer disputes the transaction with the bank we can not assist the customer any further.
