Made reservations and paid $408 extra for upgrade and holiday. Had to cancel for medical reasons and cannot get my $408.00 back.
In August 2018 I booked 4 days and 3 nights for trip in December 2018 (26th-29th). THe e-mail confirmation I received states that any cancellations must be made 7 days or more prior to arrival date or one night stay will be charged. I cancelled on Nov 30th with is more than 7 days and they still refuse to refund my payment. Due to medical issues I had to cancel. I do not know if and when I will be travelling again so I did not want a future trip, I want my $408.00 refunded please.
Refund of $408.00.
When Mrs. C booked she was told that if she cancels the reservation that she would not be refunded. She does not loose the fees paid, they would just stay on her account as a credit and can be used for the rebooking of the location or to book a different location. When she is ready to rebook she will not have to repay the fees.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The email confirmation states that if not cancelled within 7 business days of travel date fees may be charged. I cancelled well before 7 business days due to emergency medical issue only. These charges were specific to that booking only-upgrade to a bigger room and holiday week. I believe the $408.00 should be refunded to me in good faith due to being an upgrade, the actual vacation cost was also paid and the email confirmation. Thank you for your consideration.

On March 25, 2019 Mrs. C rebooked her Orlando stay and used her credit. She is scheduled to check in April 21-24, 2019. I have attached Mrs. C's confirmation email. Please let me know if you need further information.
I went to costs rica in June with a member of my church. We arrived very early. Once someone at the front desk. I explaineI, left credit card home.
I left credit card home after switching purses. I told them I could call my credit card company, which I did , world wide refuse to talk to them saying they wanted a physical card to use while touring their property. They took advantage of me being out of the country. I did not like the vacation area, they falsely said it was five ***stars . It was not.. they inside had bugs crawling everywhere. A cat in the food area.. I asked for my money back . They said no I need to take others trips from them. I would like my money back from the escrow account Florida keeps on all vacation package companies.. they have false advertisement
I want my refund from the Florida escrow account ..
Mrs. book her Costa Rica stay, during that reservation call Mrs. was told that she would need to bring her major CC to the tour, and if she didn't she would pay a NQ rate. When she went to the tour she did not have a major credit card, they were given the choice to pay the NQ rate or to leave the property. The Villa Sol in Costa Rica is a 4 star resort, and we apologize if her stay was not up to her standards. We informed Mrs. that we do have a satisfaction guarantee, and we will replace the vacation at no additional charge. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not except their response. This was not a 4 star resort.
Cats near an open kitchen, food to salty, I was my choice to leave, due to rude service the 8 hrs I was their. The rated this place a 5/4 resort. That was a lie. The beach was dirty.. it was not a 3 star. I asked for my money back... they refused to give my funds back due to false advertising. I got sick from the small amount of lunch they provided . This resort does not look like pictures it's not up to my standards. The front desk had crawly creature all over the place u could not sit down with out something crawl around your feet, chair.
My husband is sick and cannot travel and I want a refund. We never went anywhere.
I paid $2,018 to WWV on June 8th, 2018. My husband never agreed to any timeshare presentation. He became very sick, requiring surgery and hospitalization and rehab. The doctors told us he cannot travel ever. Due to this I don't meet their requirements-no annual income and can't go alone, besides I am my husbands primary caregiver. I asked for a refund and they agreed if I dropped the dispute with my *** credit card. We had a three way conversation on Nov. 2nd and they agreed to reimburse my credit card.I called them back and now Shannon said no and was rude and tried to tell me to go somewhere else. She stated the owners can't be reached and she is in charge. They double talked me when I was stupid and naive, hearing loss and didn't fully understand them due to early dementia that I couldn't cancel if my husband didn't want to go.I feel this company or Shannon took advantage of elderly lady with hearing loss and forgetfulness and inability to focus and have a conversation. They target the old people who don't understand all their rules.
Reimbursement of $2,018 for vacation that was never taken and an all-inclusive package that I didn't use.
Mr. & Mrs. made a reservation and when her husband became ill they cancelled the reservation. Company policy states that what ever is paid at the time of reservation would stay on the account for a future reservation. We told Mrs. that we would issue a refund for the reservation, which we did. We sent a check out in the amount of $718 priority mail. We also told Mrs. that we would waive her extension fees and transfer fees, she will not have a time frame to use it and she can transfer any or all locations to friends and family members. Please let me know if you need further informations.
Signed up for travel benefits - promised benefits were never correct. Request for refund refused.
Oct. 13 agreed to pay $300 for right to travel to 3 all-inclusive resorts. Four different times they maid errors in our access, the locations, the terms of the trip. Never did this to our satisfaction. Requested refund, and they refused. Stopped payment on credit card, still waiting for a response.
Refund our $308.
Company agreed to a refund after I posted this complaint. Now resolved
I receive between 20-25 call backs per day claiming that I have been calling them. They think I am World Wide Vacations. You're forwarding calls to me
Approximately one month ago I began receiving dozens of calls per day from people claiming to have received a call from my cell phone number that I have owned for 6 years. Some of those callers were kind enough to cuss me out because apparently World Wide Vacations is extremely pushy. I have called my phone company. I have called your phone company. I have called you. The calls continue to come in and nothing has been resolved. Please find out what it forwarded your 4079601711 number to MY CELL PHONE NUMBER. Otherwise, I will contact an attorney to have you served with a cease and desist order until you do.
I want my number removed from your dialer and to be left alone. I am NOT changing my cell phone number because you decided to steal it.
We received a telephone call from Mrs. a few days ago and she indicated that she was receiving calls from World Wide Vacations clients. We took the information from Mrs. and contacted our telephone company and they have corrected the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience that is may have caused.
Purchased travel package from WWV for all inclusive trips, but when tried to book vacation, I was told it's not available orI have to pay $1143 more.
Some time ago I got a call from World Wide Vacations rep advertising their travel packages. I told them that I am not interested to purchase, but they kept offering better deals to make me interested in buying their package. Finally I fell for it and paid around $900 - $1200 for fully paid and all-inclusive travel package except for taxes for 7 days & 6 nights stay at the Villa Del Palmar in Mexico (Cancun) that would also include a rental car. In addition to this I also got 2 more stays for 6 days and 5 nights at Morritts Tortuga in Cayman Islands and 5 days and 4 nights at Villas Sol in Costa Rica for which I had to pay additional fees. I also have to go on 90-minute timeshare presentation at each location.
However, when I called to reserve my first trip to Cancun, Mexico, I was told that they only have 1-bedroom rooms in Cancun and that I have to pay $249.00 booking and $149.00 per night fees. This is additional $1143.00 just for this trip that I was not told I incur upon sales contract. I want my money back.
I don't trust this company anymore and I want my refund now in full.
Mrs. purchased her package in 2013 and it was good for 3 years. We have offered a free extension of the package, however she will be responsible for the increase in resort fees. Also she wanted to travel over a period that no standard rooms are available, she chose to upgrade to a 1 bedroom which is were the additional fees are coming from. If she would like to change her dates or location she would just be responsible for the new resort fees. Please let us know if you need any further information.
I have replied to the merchant's comments on 05/29/18, but the system did not apply my response to my case. Please accept it now. Here is my response:
I do not accept the response from World Wide Vacations because it is not truthful and does not correspond to the true facts and the terms of the deal. First of all, the package was extended by Kevin, WWV Quality Control rep and I received the updates of extended offer in the mail in October 2017 (please see it attached). However, the WWV claims that the deal was not extended, and they also claim that I did not pay the extension fees despite the fact that I had the VIP package deal that guaranteed free extension. Also despite the fact that the package was already extended in October 2017, I could not book the travel for different reasons such as deal expired, or this hotel not for booking. You can see attached confirmation from WWV that I received in October 2017. Second, there was nothing about higher hotel prices in the terms of the deal. The terms clearly stated the similar conditions as were in my original agreement. They also are not honest, when they say that I have requested a one-bedroom at Villa Del Palmar in Cancun because I did not not ask them for any upgrades. I was told that I can't travel to Cancun because they have only one-bedroom suites there. I asked for a studio or different time of vacation, but was told that this hotel is not available for my package, period, even though this is the exact hotel they sold to me as my accommodations in Cancun. The reservations rep explained that I can't travel to Cancun at all, but can go to Los Cabos or Puerta Vallarta, which I was not interested in. Under the terms of my package I have to pay the booking fee of $149/per travel package at time of booking the vacation and based on double occupancy. However, when I tried to book my package with WWV, I was asked to pay $149 per person per DAY based on double occupancy, even if I travel alone. So instead of paying $149 x 2 in total booking fees for double occupancy, I was required to pay $249 x 2=$498 as booking fee plus ($149 x 2) x 6 night=$1788 for my 6 nights stay. Total amount to pay at the time of booking is $2286. In addition, to all of this I am obligated to attend their 90-120-minute timeshare presentation. So the total travel would cost me $696.94 that I already paid plus $2286 in fees = $2,982.94 plus ruined day at the timeshare sales office. In my opinion, this may be qualified as a travel scam because I can purchase the similar travel to Cancun to the same hotel with airfare at lower price without obligation to attend their timeshare presentation. I believe that this company solicits their deals to people, makes them sound too good to resist, but when customers try to book their travel arrangements they are faced with all additional fees and taxes that were not disclosed in the original contract and/or contradict the terms of the contract. At that time this package no longer sounds like a good deal, but a total rip-off. I don't agree with this. I am giving up all the further vacation travels that I was supposed to use and just want my money back. I believe that WWV demonstrates unethical business practices, which is not acceptable and that is why I demand my money back in full ($696.94). I have filed the complaint with Attorney General of Florida and am planning to continue with further steps and possible litigation if WWV, LLC will not refund me my money back.
The email that Mrs. is showing is her email confirmation that was forwarded to her. Kevin Rivera contacted Mrs. to let her know her package was expiring, Mrs. requested an email of what was included in her package. She never renewed, as stated before, we waived her extension fee and gave her the option to travel. She would just need to pay the increase in resort fees.
They have not fulfilled the communication and scheduling aspect by answering the phone for vacation questions and reservations.
The attached letters should help. I was pressured on the phone 07/17 for purchase with upgrade of vacation. I then can't reach anyone at customer service or reservations due to long delays on hold. I missed my vacation date wanted. I left a message and did not receive a call back until over 2 months later, they called me while at work and I could not stop to discuss matters. I tried to call back later and got the same, long hold delay. It is a pattern with World Wide Vacations.
I am seeking a refund to my *** Credit Card. I have filed a dispute 3 times. WWV responds that I paid originally and agreed to the vacation. I opened the email, but did not respond back with the confirmation number. Their paperwork also states my husband must travel with me due to time share, he has not agreed and stands firm on that decision.
We received a letter in the mail, which is the first time that Mrs. has tried to reach us. We have search our records and have not found any incoming call from the numbers we have on file. We have answered the disputes with American Express and have proved to them that Mrs. did purchase and agree to the terms and conditions as we as the cancelation policy by signing electronically. Her IP address is recorded as an electronic signature. Mrs. if welcome to use the vacation package at her leisure and we have reached our to her via email explaining that.
Company refused cancellation and refund when customer called within 3 business days of phone agreement, after studying the fine prints.
Sales phone call on Thursday, March 1 to sell to a senior citizen a vacation package with total charge $2208.99 on credit card (Ref: ***). The package requires travel arrangement in the following 4 years.
After the family read the fine prints received in email, cancellation phone call made with Customer service manager Shannon P on Monday, March 5 in the morning (reference ***).
Spouse of customer explained that the customer would not be able to use the package according to the fine prints.
Manager played the March 1 phone agreement recording to prove that customer agreed to a non-refundable package.
Customer service asked the customers to find ways or someone else to use the service instead.
But the customer service manager refuse refund to the Vacation Package, specifically $1208.99.
The customer (a senior citizen) should have the right to cancel agreement made in response to a single sales call, after reading the email fine prints with spouse, especially when no service have been delivered and the customer called within 3 business days. World Wide Vacations, LLC should provide full refund to the customer according to better business practices.
We spoke with the customer on 3/5/2018. They did have some concerns about the package. We addressed the concerns and issued a partial refund of $1000. We corrected and resent the email confirmation reflecting the changes.
World Wide Vacations won't stop calling even though I;m on the National DNC registry and asked to be removed from their list.
I receive multiple calls a week from this company and I am on the National Do Not Call Registry. Today I waited to be connected to a person and told them I was on the DNC registry and asked to be removed from their list. Peter was extremely pushy and refused to take my name off the list even after I asked many times. This company is infuriating, I just want them to stop calling me.
The call came from 503-798-*** on February 16h at 12:36pm. They use a phone number similar to my number and once, when it first started happening, I called the number back and the person I "called back" was very confused because they said they never called me.
I want them to NEVER call me again.
The number provided is on our Do Not Call list. We do not have a Peter that works for us. We ensure you will not be called by World Wide Vacations.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I do not believe them when they say they have not been calling. Unless there is another company called World Wide Vacation that calls me repeatedly. That being said, I accept their response that they ensure I will not be contacted by them.
Robo-call spammers
Constant phone calls from a number with my area code and first three digits in my number. Companies like this need to be punished.
I'd like to business to stop robo-calling people.
We do not use a robot dialer, it could possibly be that you have us mixed up with a company with a similar name. We do receive calls about it all the time. We have placed you number on our Do Not Call list to ensure you are not contacted by our company.
Calls me about 5 times a week. Won't remove me from calling list. Hang up when I ask difficult questions, so I suspect its a scam
Call repeatedly, 4-5 times per week and generally from different numbers. They state they are offering vacations, but I suspect its a scam because they hang up on me every time I ask difficult questions, like can I call the resorts to verify the information, or information about their business. If I ask too many questions, they usually say the calling is breaking up and hang up.
I never want a call from them again
I do apologize about any inconvenience, I have placed the number on the Do Not Call list. I have also submitted the number for an internal investigation, and if you were hung up on by any of our sales agents they will be terminated immediately.
This company has repeatedly violated the do not call law.
I registered my home phone number on August 16, 2014 in the do not call registry. I get phone calls daily from this company wanting to sell me vacations/time shares. We have told them on more than one occasion to stop calling and please take us off their list. They continue calling. Tonight, the caller even said he saw we have previously requested to be removed from the list but wanted to offer an 11 night vacation! I have filed a complaint with the FTC and will also be contacting my state attorney general regarding these illegal and predatory practices.
I want the illegal selling practices to stop.
We apologize for the late response, we have done an internal investigation. The telephone number provided is linked to a current client of our company. We have corrected the information and placed your number on our Do Not Call list. You will not receive further calls from our company.
This is incorrect information from them. They called us by name. If our phone number was attributed to a current client as they claimed, why was our name attached? Fraudulent business practices!!!
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They are continually lying in their responses. I find it very hard to believe that people have tthe same name as us with same number. And let's not forget the person on the last phone call acknowledged we had previously told them to stop calling yet he called again.
The clients name is similar, and again we have corrected and placed the number on our DNC list.
These people contact me multiple times a week and have done so for MONTHS. I have said I want to be taken off the call list no fewer than 10 times.
I am so incredibly ticked off. These people contact me multiple times a week. I have asked to be on the do not call list so many times I have lost count. I have also blocked their calls from my cell phone, which is where they always call. They use multiple numbers so that once I block one number, they can continue to call again using another number. I've now blocked 4 numbers - yet still received two calls from them today alone. This is a complete abuse. I am already on the do not call list. They provide no way to get off of their list. This needs to stop immediately & am more than happy to participate in ensuring they our fined for this. Please let me know what you need from me.
I never want to hear from this company again. Period. In no way and in no form, but in particular, I am affirmatively confirming that I DO NOT WANT ANY PHONE CALLS.
We apologize for any inconvenience, we are conducting an internal investigation. I have submitted the provided number to our IT department and the number has been placed on the Do Not Call List. You will not receive any calls from World Wide Vacations LLC out of Winter Park Fl.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept this response as long as I don't receive any more phone calls. If I do, for whatever reason, I reserve the right to revoke my acceptance of their response.
Please stop calling!!! Two solid years of calls, I ask to not be called, they DO NOT LISTEN
It is a violation of Federal Law to auto-dial a cell phone number. I have asked over a dozen times to not be called by these people, benn told over and over that my number would be removed and they STILL CALL.
Follow Federal Law and stop calling people you have no prior business with. The TCPA is codified as 47 U.S.C. 227. The TCPA restricts telephone solicitations (i.e., telemarketing) and the use of automated telephone equipment. The TCPA limits the use of automatic dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, SMS text messages, and fax machines. https://www.fcc.gov/general/telemarketing-and-robocalls
We have checked our records and the number provided by Mr. is on our DNC list and has been for quite some time. He may have us mixed up with another World Wide, as we have been getting calls for a different company with a similar name. If there is another number Mr. would like to provide we will insure that the number will be added to our DNC list.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The calls from them continue. Further, auto-dialing a cell phone is an illegal act. The caller ID matches, the rep says they are with WW, and will sometimes verify the address.
Sorry, but like many others, either stop calling, or I will continue to complain until charges are brought.
Disabled and unable to travel any longer
Due to a permanent disability we can't use the package. Refud request denied. Extension doesnt help. Transferring or selling package doesn't resolve
Refund all or at least half. Extensions not usable and not transferring or selling. Also stop calling me go sell me more extensions and packages
We apologize that you are unable to use the remaining locations in your package. You purchased your package back in 2015, we would only be able to waive the transfer fees so you can sell, give or donate your unused locations. You do have 2 years remaining on your package, we hope your health takes a turn for the better and you are able to utilize the package yourself.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I don't feel it is my responsibility to find s transfer person and am uncomfortable with this company properly handling my family's best interest
