Penn Foster College will not release my transcripts to my current University due to a balance owed on my account They keep adding late fees to a tuition balance from I canceled my program back on February 1st 2015, Penn Foster even refunded payments for the amounts of $& $on September 16th Penn Foster sent me an email stating even though I completed *** courses they cannot release transcripts until tuition is paidI completed these courses in They have been charging late fees against my account since 7/6/in the amount of $I have paid since $on tuition to release my transcripts for a school I do not attend, every month there is a new balance that is owedmy last class I attended was 11/ I have filed claims through *** that Penn foster does not respond to
Hello, My son *** *** was enrolled in this school for a couple months We decided to cancel it and was given a confirmation letter along with the amount to be refunded in the amount of $something dollars I’ve been waiting for the check for months now and every time we call are given the “run around” We are still being told that it is processing However, when I called the last time on 10/11/18, I was told that they had no record of me (his mom) on the account I am the person who was paying for everything The refund should be coming to me However, the student services account manager Andrew was extremely rude and would not provide information to me as to when the refund was processed He stated that his supervisors name is Teresa T and that she was unavailable I would simply like a refund since we do not want to be enrolled at the school and according to their policy, we are able to have a 100% refund if we decide to cancel
I recently graduated from Penn Foster Career school and completed their CDA programTheir website states that the course was accredited in the state of North Carolina, but when I went to submit my coursework for credentials, the state of North Carolina would not accept it, nor would any of the college accept itThey said the only way I could receive my credentials is if I attended another schoolhere in the stateThis leaves me with an additional dollar billI spoke to various representatives at Penn Foster and the last word they told me was that they would submit my request for a refund to a supervisor and that they would get back to me in a weekThey never did, and when I emailed them back two weeks later they said they never submitted it and that they could not help meI feel that they should not post on their website that the state of NC will accept any credit from their schoolI am also stuck with paying for the same course twice, including threel additional booksBecau
I am a current student Repeatedly I have been under attack from students and the facualty, including the director, have sided with the cyber bullies and threatened me with expulsion, excluded me from school pages I have had facualty actually tell me that I should just quit the program However, quitting doesn't exempt you from having to still pay Hind sight is 20/20, and had I known then what I know now, I would NEVEREVER have enrolled My 1st semester was great, but it has become a nightmare ever since I actually fear retaliation for even posting this, they already have all my money
I decided, in early 2015, to take part in the Penn Foster Vet Tech program online; I sent my transcripts from my institution by agreeing to allow Penn Foster to request themDue to the dissatisfactory of the program by being told information that these credits WILL "definitely transfer" to any other institution, I quickly found out that this was a lie upon inquiryWhen I attempted to file the 30-day cancellation paperwork I was still made to pay the full amount of $976.00+ in which I paid and cancelled the programNow, I am being sent a collection letter from a company by the name of USCB and upon the phone call with one of their representatives today, January 2017, it was agreed that this sounds like a fraudulent transaction in which someone is using my personal information to access the Bachelor's in Business programI have written proof from *** Community College, *** Technical College and my final college, *** University showing that I have been attending O

We signed our daughter up for Penn Foster (High School) and as she's in this program they (Penn Foster) sent several email letters stating "if you pay in advance and pay off your tuition early we will give you a discount." Now since we went ahead and pay off the tuition early like they suggested we should have been issued $151.47! We've called PF several times and kept getting the run around, they told us we should expect a check in the mail within 4-weeks and that's been since August 2016!! We've called again and they said the check was mailed out 10/28/and we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED anything! We called and called and NO ONE seems to know what is going on
I was a student at Penn Foster under the name *** *** in the Early Childhood Education AA degree program in 2014-2015I was assured that the college and program was nationally accredited and that my courses would be transferable to a four year institutionI moved from ** to ** and upon securing a job and submitting my unofficial transcripts to the state, I was told that none of my credits would be accepted and that I would have to enroll at the local community college to maintain the position I was inPenn Foster continued to charge fees and submit to collections the amount of monies owed though they fraudulently portrayed the Early Childhood Education Program as nationally accredited when in fact, it was notSince then, that amount is on my credit report causing a negative impact and I have had to take student loans and an additional two years to complete a degree that would have been finished at the end of had the program been nationally accredited as advertised
If the Revdex.com has endorsed Penn Foster, they are a scam too! I read the complaints filed and I didn't see one for small engine repairI followed the instructions on the wedsite and there was an issueI resubmitted it and instead of the pay arrangement, it took $from my accountI called customer services and the lady I spoke said it wasn't a problem and my money would be refundedShe said she cancelled my enrollment and I can reapplyI called again and I spoke with a Chrissy or a christy and I requested something in writing, she advised me that it would take to days to receive a refundI requested to speak with a supervisorShe stated that the supervisor had already went home for the dayShe also stated a supervisor would call me back the next dayThen the call was disconnectedI called back and all I got was a recording saying they were closed for the dayThat was pretty crappy to just hang up on an customer at closing time without a warningNext day, no call from a supervisordays later, I received a letter saying I would get a refund but it's not to late if I change my mindAt this point time my wife and I filed a complaint with our bankdays in, the money is pending but not in the accountdays in, the money is still pendingThe bank warned that the pending money could be withdrawn at anytimeIf you continue with Penn "fister" watch your money and your account
I paid out right for a certificate program through Penn Foster I was extremely pleased with my purchase though I noticed immediately that there were several areas of the website that did not work or that I was not allowed access too One of these areas was the grayed out link for "Notice to Students: Pharmacy Technician Externship Eligibility Requirements" under the Program Supplements section along with the "Information Literacy Supplement" content
I scrolled through my programs and noticed that the Pharmacy Technician Externship information was available again in "Module 7" (The program is broken into Modules, your 11th being the externship) The module information was not made available to me until I had completed modules - 6, here by completing more than 50% of the course and rendering myself ineligible for refund
In this module information, I was presented with information that disqualified me from obtaining my Pharmacy Technician certificate, and going on to test for
I cancelled business with Penn Foster on January 19, I was told I am due a full refundHowever, for some reason they would not refund it directly to my checking account, where they had been directly withdrawing itI was told it could be up to weeks to get the check!!! First they told me that it was because they cut checks in batches at the end of the monthThen they tell me it was not cut until the 13th of FebruaryNow they say it can take up to weeks to get to me in the mailDo we use the same postal service? From Pennsylvania to Tennesse does not weeks takeI see absolutely NO reason for them to have not refunded directly to my account that they so handily debitedI have spend a lot of time on hold trying to track this downVery shoddy accounting practicesI have still not received the check, it is February 23rd at this writing
Imagine my surprise when I bring my transcripts over to my community college and they tell me that they are worthlessFrom August until August of my credits are totally and completely worthless even after I've spent thousands of dollars and timeThis is a despicable scamOne of the first questions I had asked them would be if these transcripts would be transferableI was told yes
I paid $1,to enroll for Penn Foster's Graphic Design programI was excited to learn the material and became disillusioned when I realized that the learning materials/study guide they provided was not up-to-date with the corresponding software that is currently available to downloadI contacted my instructor to request up-to-date materials and was told that they were unavailableHe suggested that I try to just get through the lessons the best I could and assured me that Penn Foster was "lenient" with their grading and that it shouldn't be an issue
The software currently available might as well have been made by an entirely different software companyThe functions and menus are in different locations and this makes completing the steps required near-impossibleI enrolled in this program to learn, not to "wing it" through the lessons in order to receive lenient grading and some worthless certificate
When I contacted Penn Foster about getting a full refund, I was offered
I paid hundreds of dollars, and hours of time on end to complete my college back in even having a newborn childI have requested my transcript times and times on end and they refuse to send it to me or give me any sort of help, the only help I get is “make sure you type in the correct student numer” which I have done repeatedlyI have no idea how to resolve this issue on my ownIm currently in the process of joining the ***, and I no longer am able to receive Efor my college credits, and no longer available to get my enlistment bonusI feel as though all my time, money and effort have been wastedI do not think I have anymore time to get my transcript inI just want others to be helped in the futureThis is awful for a company to do to people who actually put effort into their careers
Absolutely horribleI paid in full for the medical and billing programOnce you pay the student services dosent careI was struggling with programPaid extensionI then tried to switch to another program and instead of helping me they canceled my student accountSo they canceled my student account so I can't finish my programThis place should be shut downThey should teach a lesson on ethicsI feel cheated out of money with nothing to show for itYou are better off checking out books in libraryI didn't receive text books that I paid forThere is no management obviouslyHorribly runThey were only helpful and nice when I was paying for the program
On Aug28, 2016, I signed a contract and made a first payment for a course, "*** *** with Software," sold by Penn Foster Career SchoolI was given a student ID number and was sent many emails about privacy agreements, course deadlines, etc However, I was not given the software

When I asked when I could expect to get the software, the customer service agent told me that instructor "Ann Marie (I think her last name is M***) says she doesn't know when you will get the software." When I said I was on a Penn Foster-specified deadline, I was told on that call that "we will extend your deadline free of charge," but I don't k
