Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While I did opt for resolution via forfeiture, I'm essentially paying for goods that were falsely advertised as local items per EBTH's siteFiltering by "Atlanta" should not surface items in Blue Ash, OhioThis is purposefully misleading and takes advantage of a consumer's trustThere has been no acknowledgement of this misleading filter on the site, and no plans to clarify/defend the practice at the core of the complaint.I will pay the invoice and no longer do business with this company, though I am completely dissatisfied with their practicesRegards, [redacted] ***
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to these concerns. Ms. [redacted] purchased a serigraph on paper on 7/31 for $17, invoice B- [redacted] . With shipping and sales tax, her final invoice total was $38.79. It is shipping to her via ***, tracking number [redacted] . This piece was... only available for shipment from EBTH. Per standard procedure, when the sale ended, shipping was automatically booked and payment was processed on 8/2, within 48 hours of the end of the sale. The 7 day disclaimer Ms. [redacted] referred to exists in regards to customers from whom we are unable to collect payment and pertains to forfeiture. Ms. [redacted] ’s serigraph was prepared for shipment on 8/2 and was picked up by [redacted] before the end of business on the same day to be shipped to her in [redacted] , MD. Ms. [redacted] called and spoke to our customer service department on 8/2 regarding the change in address for delivery to [redacted] , CA. Since the label was already created and the piece had already been moved to our outbound parcels, she was advised to use the [redacted] service [redacted] , which allows customers to create accounts with [redacted] and change the address or their shipment details as the need to. We recommend customers use this service because, if they need to change their delivery address, they can avoid fees by changing the piece to a [redacted] store pickup option. When EBTH changes a shipment through ***, there is a minimum charge of $13.40 plus the additional transportation fee. Ms. [redacted] chose not to change her address using [redacted] . She was informed that she would be charged at least $13.40 plus the transportation fee, which would be determined by ***. Our shipping department changed Ms. [redacted] ’s address, which incurred an accessorial charge of $13.40 and a transportation charge of $47.55, for a total fee of $60.95. This fee was charged to EBTH and passed on to Ms. [redacted] via her invoice, as she was told it would be. The payment for this fee was charged on 8/3. A screenshot of the fee with Ms. [redacted] ’s tracking number of [redacted] can be seen in the screen shot “ [redacted] .png.”When Ms. [redacted] entered her credit card on EBTH, “By providing your credit card information to EBTH, you irrevocably authorize EBTH to charge your credit card for the listing fee or total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping and handling fees, as applicable.” Ms. [redacted] ’s card was charged and her item was sent to the address on file. When she wanted to change the delivery address, she was informed of the fees associated with this change and opted to continue. We are unable to refund Ms. [redacted] . Thank you for your consideration,EBTH

Most curious and very interesting that ALL OF A SUDDEN both transactions have been marked SHIPPED today, March15. All of a sudden they miraculously get shipped. To Da!However, STILL NO TRACKING NUMBERS!!!! Fed Ex always and automatically assigns a tracking number when the shipment is accepted by them. So where is it?The [redacted] automatically assigns a tracking number for any and all Priority Mail shipments. But NO TRACKING NUMBER. Perhaps they didn't ship Priority Mail and shipped First Class or Media Mail? or Parcel Select? If so, they doubly screwed me for they charged me the priority rate. They ask me to go to "MY EBTH" (and I quote) to check for the latest on my packages. There is no such tab as "MY EBTH". I had to go to Items Won to find anything and that wasn't much other than the simultaneous miraculous March 15 shipping date. They said they have credited 50% of the shipping fees back to. Yes, they did, but that credit is to my EBTH account and not my [redacted] account so I'll never see it as I have no intention of ever working with them today. Finally, the author of their Nothing-Response didn't bother to sign it . . . no name, so no one personally contact with questions or problems. Could it be no one wants to accept the blame for the mess they have created? Quite likely. In conclusion, no meaningful information was provided at all. No apologies. No tracking numbers. Only a credit I can't use.Thank you for your assistance., [redacted]

This was available to be picked up at the property on 10/and the final total was $17.12.The Shiwan ware figure, invoice B-***, was only available to be shippedThis piece was moved from the *** market to our central processing facilityIn an effort to better serve our global audience, most items are removed from most of our local markets and taken to a central processing facility to be photographed, cataloged, and shippedThe *** market was transitioned to this model in early 2017.Ms*** contacted our customer service team on 10/27, following her local pickup of the jug, to express her frustration at this changeThe customer service representative with whom she spoke explained that this item was not available to be picked up and that the item would have indicated that it was only able to be shipped on the item pageThe customer service representative also offered Ms*** a $gift card, but the offer was declined. Upon reviewing her account, we have found that the invoices in question were Ms***’s first purchases with EBTH since November Since the change occurred in the two years during which Ms*** was not using EBTH, we understand how this confusion may have occurredWe have issued a refund of $14.23, which is the total shipping costMoving forward, we ask that Ms*** check the fulfillment options on items before placing her bids, to ensure they’re local to her and not at the processing center. We would like to apologize to Ms*** for this confusion. Thank you for your consideration, EBTH

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The person responding is either misinformed or is deliberately providing informationShipping methods and prices have grossly been modified over the course of the past year without updates to the original terms of serviceEBTH's concept of days was refuted by phone conversation justifying the newly increased shipping costs explaining the new fees were to cover 2day air via ***10days btw changes from employee to employeeSome say the days starts after payment is received some say its days after pickup is allowed from the auction which they will not allow if you are out of stateI have triedFuthermore in regards to this transaction I was told the cost breakdown was as followsTransit: $87.24Insurance: $64.26Custom Packing: $46.16Total: $197.66After confirming the prices with [redacted] the transit fee of $is the cost of ground shipping with insurance The "custom" packing involved a Ziploc sandwich bag and wadded paperWhich leaves a mystery charge of $for additional insuranceOr the package was double insured allowing EBTH to claim a loss on two policies if a loss did occur.I was hoping EBTH would take the time to correct the issue verses lashing out at a customerHowever based on my previous conversations with EBTH employees this is the culture they cultivate Regards, [redacted]
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint, yetI have responded to their message and have made the request that a photo claim be processed and a full refund be issued while they work with their shipper to resolve the claimAt this time, I have yet to hear back from EBTH regarding my request and will wait to hear back from themI would ask that they work one-on-one with their shipper and issue the refund to meI do not feel that I should be punished and forced to wait during the claims process when the only people who need to be involved are EBTH + UPS.I am still seeking a full refund in the amount of $USD Regards, [redacted]
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I received an email to show me that merchandise totaling $has been shipped and is due to arrive today via *** However, I still have nothing to show for the remaining $on my debit card Regards, [redacted]
We have reached out to Ms [redacted] on three occasions now prior to responding to this complaint We are also handling a complaint from the seller after Ms [redacted] left post it notes on his house with threats of lawsuits and Revdex.com complaints She had demanded to be let into the sellers home after the pick up window closed The seller had no way of processing payment for her We are happy to resolve these challenges with Ms***, but we need a response from her Thank you
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to these concerns. Ms*** purchased a Shiwan ware figure for $on 10/25, invoice B-***With shipping and sales tax, her final invoice total was $From the same sale, she purchased an antique stoneware jug for $16, invoice B-***
