WORST INSRURANCE COMPANY IN THE WORLD!! I called them for a quote and got a really great rate so I switched over then 2 months later I find out that the representative lied to me about my coverages and never put comp or collision on my car. I was so lucky not to have needed it, anyway after straightening that out my premium went up hundreds. I just renewed my policy with them 30 days ago and they took my 20% down and exactly 30 days later without even sending me a bill completely cancelled my policy. I received a text message from the company at 5pm on Saturday telling me it was cancelled. They didn't even open until Monday again. I can see now why they offer such competitive rates, because it's a scam. They apparently don't pay claims by all these awful reviews run RUN so far away!
the worst company ever, the worst customer services department
I was attended by Sra. Keyla M in completing my Policy requirements. She was a high competent agent, with complete dominion of her job. I was highly impressed by her. Is a 10 stars employee.
After being hit by guy who is insured by Windhaven insurance I had to wait over 2 Months to get the car seen and an estimate sent out. I went to a shop and their estimate was 2300 to get the car fixed, windhaven only paid 600$ therefore the car came out horrible. I began calling and calling to get more money and take it to another shop to finish the work and Windhaven ignored my calls. I Called 6 people from the Miami office at least 20 times Each per person Each week! About a month has passed and still no answer. I hope they lose their business. This is by far the worse insurance company I have ever dealt with. Please STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
I am extremely angry over the way Windhaven insurance treated us. My sister and I live together and have had an insurance policy with our 2 vehicles for a little over a year. After visiting Rainbow Insurance Agency to find affordable full coverage for our cars they recommended Windhaven. My sister got into an accident on July 21, 2014. It took them 1 month to appraise the vehicle which they then claimed it was a total loss. After that it took them an additional month to let us know if they were going to approve or deny our claim. The insurance reps stated that they were investigating us. They never explained why and made me go under oath and ask me questions pertaining to the accident. They would not let us know where her vehicle was to retrieve her personal items and we called them continuously, just about every day for over 2 months. We left numerous voicemails and each time our claims adjuster, was "out of the office but would surely call us once he came back.â I never got one call from them except when he called to tell us that the car was a total loss and we have to pay for ourselves to get it out of the lot. They said, âThey were denying our claim because our policy was cancelled since January 13 of 2014. Yet we paid them every month for the 6 month policy we signed up for and we have documents to prove that. They never once gave us an estimate for the damages of the vehicle and many of the customer service reps had yelled and/or argued with my sister. They told my sister after the car was appraised that she had to pay to get her car out of the lot and tow it to our home because they were no longer going to pay for it. What is the point of paying insurance if they were not going to take care of us? I am very furious about the service we received. When they finally told us the claim was denied and where they were holding the car, September 25th 2014 (after being on hold and given the run around for 30 minutes on the phone) we had to pay $697 to get it out and paid $80 to tow the car to our home because the air bag was deployed. Now we have a 2012 Toyota Yaris sitting in the front yard that she pays every month for that can't be driven. If our policy was apparently cancelled in January why did we pay over $500 a month for insurance? This is unfair, injustice and I think my sister and I deserve answers and Windhaven should be investigated for their faults. I also think it is fair we be reimbursed for the 6 months we paid them to insure our vehicles and the money to retrieve the vehicle that they basically let sit in a lot for over two months.
