My was rear ended while sitting at a red light Police were called and the person that hit my car (covered by Progressive Ins) admitted fault for the damage to my car A call was made to Windhaven reporting the accident as required Photos were sent to Windhaven and estimate was done by a shop that they advised that I go to The shop stated that Windhaven is extremely slow and wished me luck The other driver's Progressive insurance contacted me the following day to arrange an appointment for another estimate I took the car to their location and was given an estimate that was les than the one from the shop that Windhaven sent me to Still no reply from Windhaven about anything Progressive offered to provide a loaner car and repair the damage and waive any deductible, as their insured had admitted fault The repairs had to be done in a timely manner, so the repairs were completed (as I was not seeking claim proceeds from Windhaven) No phone numbers ever reach a person

Customer service reprensatives are all horribleThey don't know how to speak to anyoneAnd when you request a supervisor, the reps transfer u to the ivr service

I am extremely angry over the way Windhaven insurance treated usMy sister and I live together and have had an insurance policy with our vehicles for a little over a yearAfter visiting Rainbow Insurance Agency to find affordable full coverage for our cars they recommended WindhavenMy sister got into an accident on July 21, It took them month to appraise the vehicle which they then claimed it was a total lossAfter that it took them an additional month to let us know if they were going to approve or deny our claimThe insurance reps stated that they were investigating usThey never explained why and made me go under oath and ask me questions pertaining to the accidentThey would not let us know where her vehicle was to retrieve her personal items and we called them continuously, just about every day for over monthsWe left numerous voicemails and each time our claims adjuster, was "out of the office but would surely call us once he came back.â I never got one call from them except when he called to tell us that the car was a total loss and we have to pay for ourselves to get it out of the lotThey said, â They were denying our claim because our policy was cancelled since January of Yet we paid them every month for the month policy we signed up for and we have documents to prove thatThey never once gave us an estimate for the damages of the vehicle and many of the customer service reps had yelled and/or argued with my sister They told my sister after the car was appraised that she had to pay to get her car out of the lot and tow it to our home because they were no longer going to pay for itWhat is the point of paying insurance if they were not going to take care of us? I am very furious about the service we receivedWhen they finally told us the claim was denied and where they were holding the car, September 25th (after being on hold and given the run around for minutes on the phone) we had to pay $to get it out and paid $to tow the car to our home because the air bag was deployedNow we have a Toyota Yaris sitting in the front yard that she pays every month for that can't be drivenIf our policy was apparently cancelled in January why did we pay over $a month for insurance? This is unfair, injustice and I think my sister and I deserve answers and Windhaven should be investigated for their faultsI also think it is fair we be reimbursed for the months we paid them to insure our vehicles and the money to retrieve the vehicle that they basically let sit in a lot for over two months

A policy holder from Windhaven hit my car on June 19th since the June 20th I have been calling and leaving e-mails for the persons who they claim were my adjusters I am yet to receive a call back from an adjuster or and e-mail

These adjusters NEVER answers their phone when you called the operator *** has gotten accustomed to my voice based on my numerous callsYoday is September 7, and I am still waiting on a call to know when and how a payment will be issued to me for this faulty driverThis firm acts as if they are some scammers and based on my experience should NOT be conducting business

This company is very easy to deal with and their rates are very affordable in comparison with other companiesI could even afford a full coverage on my new car with themI have not had any claims, but it is so easy to deal with their agents and customer servicesThey are so efficient in handling changesI am very grateful to themI wish they did business in other states as well

Windhaven processes claims both for its own insurance as well as Equity Insurance Company based in Texas I was rear-ended in August by someone insured with Equity That driver got a ticket for reckless driving as expected I gave a statement and submitted the traffic report to Windhaven on 8/ After weeks and countless phone calls, I've made no progress in getting my car adjusted and repaired thru Windhaven I finally gave up and filed the claim thru my own insurance, and coughed up the deductible to get the car repaired, even though the other driver was at fault Windhaven behaves unethically in order to avoid paying claims
If you have the bad luck to get in an auto accident with someone carrying either Windhaven or Equity Insurance, please make sure you get a police report because Windhaven will not pay claims it should pay in a timely fashion

I was rear-ended in stopped traffic by a Windhaven insured customer I immediately reported the incident to my insurance company and opened a claim with Windhaven No one from Windhaven has ever reached out to gather information or provide any feedback as to the progress of the claim other than to send a letter saying they were investigating their own customer and that it would significantly delay any settlement for the damage to my vehicle After waiting over weeks and missed appointments with their own customer and my having to continually chase down Windhaven representatives to get any information on the status of my claim they finally admitted liability and issued a check for the value of the initial damage estimate The first day in the shop the collision center called to say there was undiscovered frame damage to my truck That was on a Monday They contacted Windhaven immediately No one responded They called again on Wednesday No one responded I called on Friday No one responded I called again the following Monday I've left phone messages for separate people and so far no response We'll see if anyone responds to the latest round of messages Absolutely horrific claims handling process, the IVR system is absolutely itic in design and no one responds within a reasonable time period Would highly recommend against anyone having a policy with Windhaven unless you are uninsurable and they are the only company that will accept your business

Terrible experience Non-responsive, impossible voice mail system to navigate, and virtually impossible to reach a live adjuster Having dealt with insurance companies for years on almost a daily basis, this is, by farthe most horrible insurance company to deal with Some adjusters have thick accents which you can not understand If you are lucky enough to get a real person you can understand, if you ask them a difficult question that is not on their script of answers, they send you back into the voice mail system to be lost once again Switch companies now!

My spouse and I bought Windhaven car insurance for his new car, then found a cheaper price with Geico and so canceled the same day we bought it, we sent all documentation, etc to cancel and they said they would refund usThat was back on July We still have not received the refund from Windhaven even after calling them a handful of times and emailing them, they always have an excuse not to return our money Where is the refund? I have been a customer of Windhaven's for almost a year nowI pay every months for my policyI was in accident on May 4th, that was not my faultIt took the company days to assign an adjuster and send out an appraiserI just found out today (day 7) that they are reassigning my case to a new adjuster and it is going to be another days before the adjuster is actually assignedMy car is un-drivable and has been sitting in my driveway all week because they need an adjuster to tell me where to take my vehicle to begin repairsI am and paying a premium on a rental since I am under in order to get to my full time job and other meetingsMeanwhile, my car is still sitting in the driveway and I am incurring more rental costsOn top of all of that, it takes me at least minutes on hold to reach anyone in the office as wellTheir ability to get back to their customers and provide any kind of assistance is absurd,

Windhaven rates were very high compared to other companiesCustomer service was not pleasantI cancelled once I found a carrier cheaper, letting Windhaven know just after I bought my new policyIt took three attempts to try to get my refund, they drafted out anyways after I cancelled.I was finally told they process the request, it takes 3-days then I will have to wait up to days to receive my money backThis is the 4th call today and what they statedI would NOT use themAny other carrier will process a refund faster but once notified of a cancelled policy wouldn't take funds out

I had property damage to my 2008 6 on March 2nd windows was broken out the front and back called the same day and reported it on March 3 a adjuster came out and told me that the car will be picked up on Friday or on Monday on Monday I had my daughter call Windhaven they told her the adjuster no longer have the case and to contact Maria Delgado when I attempted to call mrs. Delgado I received no answer I left a voice message and today on March 8th I receive an email stating I need to come and make a recorded statement on March 22nd my question is what happens to my vehicle in the meantime with the windows broken out and rain approaching what am I supposed to do to protect the car against rain this company is BS and they avoid paying out at all costs

I. Was involved with a Windhaven insured driver who swerved into me and across the median into oncoming traffic on 2/5/2015. The fault of damage to my vehicle was unquestionably the the person that struck my vehicle. Damage estimate was over three thousand dollars and Windhaven offered less than five hundred. I propose that Windhaven is a scam company set up for people who cannot obtain legitimate insurance. They should be put out of business.

My experience was a nightmare.Terrible experience. no one ever calls you back and impossible to reach a live adjuster. I have never dealt with such incompetence. Most of the people that work there have thick accents and you can not understand them. You never get a real person you can understand. They never answer your questions and they definitely try to give you the run around about the claim. They hope you will get tired of waiting for an answer and just give up. If you have this insurance company, run very fast, and find another company because you will get so stressed out with this one. This company seems to have sketchy business practices. FIND A NEW COMPANY NOW!!!!!!!
