We contracted for replacement windows to include new trim and sills in August of 2017. In October, at time of install, we discovered that we were sold sills in the finish to match our windows and trim however West Shore does not sell them. It took several appointments to discover this due to employees not knowing what the company offered. It is now February and the job is still not complete.
Secondly, outdoor caulking of some windows was sloppy and should be corrected.
Additionally, the company is unwilling to provide an itemized invoice of the amounts charged to us. This unwillingness questions their honesty in what customers are being charged. At this point we have been provided totals from three different representatives all with varying amounts.
Hi, ***! I know you and Jason have been been in direct conversation over the past few days. We have provided you with the itemized pricing and the service is nearing completion. Please let me know if you have any additional information that may be pertinent to this case.
Thanks!
Tom
I am contacting you as I missed the original correspondence from the business on 3/12 but saw the notice of closure of the case today. The business has met the request of providing itemized billing, and completing the job at this time. We are rejecting the business's response under the premises that we have not been offered any credit towards the amount charged to date. We are requesting a credit based off the facts that we were sold a product the business does not sell and breaching contract ( sills in the same finish as the window and casing), the job was expected to be completed in 1-2 days the job was just completed today which is approximately 5 months from the start ( approx 7 months from date of purchase), and the customer service we received was not up to our standards. Please advise any additional information required on my behalf in order to re-open this case. Please confirm receipt of this message.Kind Regards
Nathan R and Frank S were the Bryton bath installers at *** in *** NC at the home of Harrison and Geraldine B.
We would like to say they did a wonderful job. They were able to do it in one day and we are very pleased.
We had a master bathroom shower installed by Brad M. He was very considerate and professional at all times. He also kept us advised of the different phases of the install. He did a fine job of cleaning up the work area after he was finished.
Bryon W installed a shower in my daughter's bathroom on January 15-16, 2018. Just want to thank him for the excellent professional job that he completed. He was so neat and careful going about his job. Thanks you Brytons Home Improvement for the kind of people that you have chosen to represent your business . Thanks again
WE CONTACTED BRYTON CONCERNING A WALK IN SHOWER WE HAD INSTALLED SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND THE CAULKING AROUND IT. THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND AND SET UP AN APPT FOR US WITH AN INSTALLER, JORDAN B. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH THE WAY HE RESPONDED TO OUR NEEDS AND WITH THE WORK THAT HE DID.
The shower that was put in by Bryson's turned out beautiful. My mom will enjoy for long time. The installer David H did a awesome job. He is a very hard worker.
Steve M was very professional and determined to complete the repair to his and my satisfaction.
I paid for two doors to be purchased and installed, but only one has been installed.
West Shore attempted to install a door with an exterior style threshold built in at the top of interior steps in my house. The threshold would have been a tripping hazard.
The West Shore installation workers and I agreed that this door shouldn't be installed without a modification to the very wide and high threshold.
I asked for that modification to be completed and the door to be reinstalled.
However, West Shore has not been in contact with me about the modification but they have stated that they require more money from me then the contract stated.
I ask for the Revdex.com's assistance in documenting and, if possible, resolving this matter. Thank you.
Complaint #1:
West Shore attempted to install a door with an exterior style threshold built in at the top of interior steps in my house. The threshold would have been a tripping hazard. The West Shore installation workers and I agreed that this door shouldn't be installed without a modification to the very wide and high threshold.
Response from West Shore:
The West Shore installation team did not recommend against installation of the door, rather theydid not install at the direct request of ***, even though it was a standard application of a fire-rated door.
Complaint #2:
I asked for that modification to be completed and the door to be reinstalled. However, West Shore has not been in contact with me about the modification but they have stated that they require more money from me then the contract stated
Response from West Shore:
West Shore has reached out on 16 separate occasions to *** (10 via email, 6 via telephone) seeking to establish dialogue regarding the project. West Shore is more than willing to continue working towards a resolution on the project but a conversation is necessary so that all of the dynamics are understood – when making changes to a custom door there are costs involved. *** was provided with a copy of his contract and receipt of his purchase on March 16th and March 22nd.
Again, West Shore is serious about customer experience, and has been trying to contact *** diligently since the date of install to address this issue. We are fully committed to completing the project, but we cannot do so without dialogue with the customer.
I am rejecting this response because:

Thank you for your continued assistance.I have emailed Mr. Brenton W ***), the West Shore controller, but I have not seen a reply.I would like to resolve this matter without any more delay before I go back on duty this weekend.
Hello again, ***. It's my understanding that this has been resolved between you, Brenton, and BJ. If that's correct, what else do you need to resolve this case?
I am satisfied with the job done by my installer, David W.
Bathroom is so much improved. We are very pleased with our experience with Brytons. Trip G was our installer and he was neat, professional, and got the job done in 1 1/2 days. would highly recommend Brytons for any of their many services! Give them 5 Stars!
Outstanding experience with Brytons. Jeff F arrived on time, worked 8 hours, came on time the following day and completed the job. We could not be more pleased. He is a five star employee.

It took West Shore Inc. FIVE ATTEMPTS and TEN MONTHS to get an undamaged door installed on our home. Each time a new door was delivered it was damaged or scratched in some fashion and had to be sent back to the factory for a replacement. In addition, there was little-to-no communication from West Shore Window and Door during this period. If I wanted to know what was going on – I typically had to reach out to them for updates. After multiple doors had been brought out I asked if they would be willing to compensate me for the delays and inconveniences I had experienced (e.g. waiting 10 months on repeated doors to be delivered). After initially saying no, they eventually agreed to a $250 refund. When they finally were ready to present the refund to us they then said they would only give us the check under the conditions that we would sign a new contract! In the new contract West Shore accepted no responsibility for the problems or inconveniences but DID include a “Non-Disparagement Clause” and a “Confidentially Clause” – basically stating that we would NEVER tell ANYONE, verbally or in writing, about the problems we experienced or any resolution (i.e. refund). I pointed out that this was in direct violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016 but they did not seem concerned. I asked about our original verbal agreement for the $250 refund that had been promised and they basically said I could take it or leave it under the new contract. I can provide a much longer version with all of the specific details over the ten month span if necessary. Unfortunately this was all I could summarize in the allocated space.
Good morning, ***
I have escalated your case to our Director of Sales, and he would like to come out to visit your home and speak to you directly to resolve your case. When would be a great time for him to do so? Tom Al*** Marketing StrategistDirect: (
