This is not trueVizio increased the warranty on this TV from year to years because they discovered that this line of TV was having wide spread issues pertaining to the white spots being appeared on the screen from increased number of customersTo save a recall on the TV, Vizio extended the warranty, which was not sufficient, specifically when sending the same model againI did hear back from Vizio Manager [redacted] from Corporate Escalations GroupHe asked me to pay approx$+ tax (don't remember the exact amount) to get the new replacementAlso, after talking to Mr [redacted] he acknowledged that the unit that they replaced in September-was not a brand new but a used one, which they get from store display / customer return etcThe thing that I just don't understand is that why would they sent the used same model unit which was having a wide spread issueI believe that Vizio was just applying 'hit and try' method on their customers, which means if the replacement unit works for days, then great, and after that they don't have any responsibility, otherwise they will replace again and again, like they did for other customers, upto 4-replacementsLuckily, other customers noticed white spots within days and guess I was very unfortunate not to notice the white spots until they took over all over the screen which was around days and not I expect that someone in Vizio should take a moral responsibility for their customers and do the right thing either by returning their money or do a replacement free of charge with a model which does not have the same issue again with extended warranty Regards, [redacted] ***

I'll never buy a Vizio tv again tvs not even years old and won't turn on anymore! Would have unplug and plug it back in or more times

Purchased Vizio television from [redacted] (St Pete,FL) Feb 2015, television went out Aug Called for repair, Vizio sent repair person out which took wks and after repair work done, tv worked for day Vizio then told me they would send new television2nd set sent to my home took over days with me constantly calling all the time complainingFinally after delivery of the new set it worked for approx a little over a month and went out Vizio then sent another set to my home and upon delivery the set did not come on after being plugged in by delivery menSet was taken back and 1/2---wks later another set was sent out This time unit worked for mths and again has gone outOn Jan 20th another unit was delivered and upon the delivery men plugging unit in it did not come onAgain the unit was taken back I have again today Feb 11,been delivered a unit that upon being delivered and plugged in by delivery men showed nothing but vertical lines All these events
