Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have not received confirmation from Vivint or from Equifax that this inquiry was completely removed from my credit reportVivint claimed that they sent a letter to Equifax over weeks ago to attempt to resolve the issue, but Equifax claims never to have received itIn the past week, Vivint's assistant legal counsel forwarded me an email in which an Equifax representative claims that the inquiry has been changed from hard to soft inquiry, but I have been unable to verify thisRegardless of the inquiry type, my original request is that the entire inquiry be removed since it was unauthorized and therefore illegal under the Fair Credit Reporting ActI will gladly close this complaint after Vivint completely removes the inquiry from my report and is able to provide me with a way to verify the removal Sincerely, [redacted]
