Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Dear Revdex.com I would like to reopen a case that was supposed to be resolved through your companyIn june I emailed you about a problem with vivint alarm and monitoring company and after much trouble and a lot of investigation the results were we agreed to accept a full refund of two months payment and they would close the account immediatelyNot questions asked we agreed to the terms we was refunded and no payment was taken out in July, so when checking my bank statement today they have taken out This company is the biggest scam artist ever,they say we never canceled the service which is a flat out lie Three family members have tried to cancel it for five or better years and it always seems to get taken from the bank account, so after several attempts we went to the bank and stopped payment of so for one month they got nothing and we thought it was resolved, but the next month they was smart and took payments which was around the first of June ,we where extremely mad and contacted your company and it was determined that the company vivint would close the account immediately after the refund, they refunded the money waited to months and charged for months This is not right there are over bad reviews online about this company ranging from longer contract than agreed to taking money after account is closedI asked for a full refund and they told me that I was lucky to be refunded the first timeAt this point I'm keeping all emails from them and you along with taking notes also I will start recording my calls because I have a feeling I will have to take it to court .THIS Company Should Be Shut Down Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am not sure which conversation you are referring but you should listen to the entire set of conversations (starting August 12) in which at least on two occassions I was asked to locate the sensor and I could not Then I was told that a replacement magnet could be sent - and I told the Vivint rep would serve no purpose since I could lnot ocate the sensor More importantly, my point is that you cannot expect a customer to be without a security system for a month That is unacceptable customer care I am happy to present my facts to an arbitror or for a legal review Your offer of exiting the contract with a penalty is not only unethical, but I would consider illegal - you cannot charge me for a service that you are not providing You are in the business of providing security - if my house were broken into tomorrow, I would sue Vivint for negligence Bottomline - I need to go with a provider who will provide security on an ongoing basis and fix problems in a timely manner Please reconsider your position and do the right thing Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:August 13: The sensor error did not happen while I was on the call but a day later, the sensor tripped at night and a alarm was generated This woke up my family in the middle of the night and the neighborhood watch wanted to know what was going on I stopped setting the alarm after that August 17: When I called they offered to ship me a magnet I told them that I cannot see anything in the window that remotely resembled a magnet The Vivint rep then said that there was no point in shipping the magnet The earliest date offered to me was Sept for a technician to come outAugust 19: A Vivint rep called and offered to send a magnet and I told her the same thing as above She offered to give me credit for the time the service was not available I declined for the reason below:Example 1: If I were to hire security guard to protect my home and he got sick and said I will come back in a month, that would not be acceptable I need my home protected and a replacement guard needs to be made available We are talking about the safety and security of my home and a taking nearly a month to fix a sensor is not acceptable.Example 2: If my internet was down, I would expect my ISP to fix it in a day or twomy livelihood depends on working from home If they offered to fix it weeks later, I would fire them Same thing with Vivint - my life, my family's life is at stake hereVivint is supposed to protect my home and treat it as a priority...not take their own sweet time A few days is okayweeks is not okay.Bottom line: 3+ weeks without protection is unacceptable I am moving on to another security provider who can fix issues in a timely manner Sincerely, [redacted]
