Attached you will find a PDF file with the original letter that we sent to the St. Peters, MO office for US Restoration. The letter was sent certified and then returned to us as it seems that they no occupy that location ( but the sign is still in the window and their website still has that address listed ). The letter spells out the issues that we still feel needs addressing. There are pics in the attached PDF as well showing some of the damage caused by the workers to the siding and bushes. The first pic after the letter is a shingle tab pulled from the top open pack of shingles that the crew was placing on our home ( that we do agree said Estate Gray ) and then laid on the top of our existing light gray roof that we were tearing off. The new shingle is nearly the same color and maybe a bit lighter/brighter than what we had, and we wanted to go much darker as seen in the bottom of that pic ( see note ). The Estate Gray is on the Right and what it looks like is in the Lower Left of the color chart. There is a HUGE difference in the color from the sample and what the shingles actually look like. I understand that the 'package' said it was 'Estate Gray', but once you see the photo you can see that the color is not close to what 'should have been' in the package. I know it does not happen often where an item is packaged in the wrong wrapper, but it clearly looks like it may have happened with the skid of shingles that we received. The color is so much lighter than the Estate Gray ( it looks like the Sierra Gray ). I do not dispute that the order that we placed was for Estate Gray, the package was labeled Estate Gray...but what was inside surely does not look like the DARKER Estate Gray! We just wanted the color that we ordered...Estate Gray like seen in the sample! We also wanted to not have any damage to our bushes and siding as well and are needing to finalize this ASAP as we need to get working on the siding again as it has been 7 months since we started the roof and still can not get our issues resolved. Do you feel that after seeing the photos of the NEW shingles in the pics that they look like the Estate Gray color as seen in the sample book?

We are still trying to set up to do this with our installation crew.
US Restoration has completed part of the work and I am satisfied with the work. The rest of the work (siding and gutters)) is to be done this week

And then on Monday May 15th, 16th they resided one west wall of our house that looks OK. And rewrapped aluminum around the roller door. The west front corner of house needs to be redone with aluminum. Was not done right. Back wall of house May 17th replaced siding with new and used siding. It looks horrible. It is worse than what it was before they touched it. And they did not have enough material to fix all hail damage. It looks like .... Now my whole back of the house needs to be redone. I can not even sell my house the way it is done. How pathetic. The house across the street from us just sold for $216,000. And they do not have two driveways or a two car detached garage in their back yard. I do not even think I could get $190,000 fro my home the way it looks now. And this is the way my insurance company told them to do things. [redacted] Insurance. They .... Unbelievably Rediculous! Next they are going to get the Gutters and downspouts on the house and detached garage done. I spoke with Dan S[redacted] on Thursday May 18th. That is all that I can tell you for now.thanks,[redacted] and [redacted]
The gutters are issued to our gutter installers. So it is coming up very soon.

I am rejecting this response because:From: [redacted]<[redacted]>Date: Mon, Aug 29, 2016 at 3:12 PMSubject: RE: You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Central Ohio in regards to your complaint #[redacted]To: Revdex.com <[redacted]They are lying. My insurance company never replaces entire roofs. They are telling you lies. They could not do the job as promised so I let them go. I was unable to do this in the 3 days they state in their contract as they took longer than that to let us know the insurance company would not replace the entire roof.
I am rejecting this response because :Need I remind you, your company was MIA for 5 months. As I stated earlier; I did try several attempts contacting your company through verbal and written correspondence with no success of response from your company(US R & R). You hadn't submitted a claim for the siding until you received complaint from me through the Revdex.com. If you had succeeded in getting approval for the siding; why wasn't there a contract presented to me to sign off on for the approval amount to have been submitted to my insurance company? Instead recently your company submitted a demand letter to my insurance company stating proposed costs of all repairs that your company was/is contracted to do on my house; coming up with a bogus total of $46,221.44. I believe your company had overlooked the repair contract you had with me. I believe your company had misplaced the siding sample you had taken from my house, and the insurance loss statement, because why would your sale manager(Rick A[redacted]) tried to obtain a copy of the insurance loss statement from my insurance company on Nov 25,2017( insurance company reported to me), instead of contacting me. And why then contacting me after 5 months of neglect; requesting another siding sample from my house(Dec 4,2017). There is still the matter of unfinished repairs that your company has already been paid(also stated earlier).Regards,

I'm having trouble with the website And The box where I would write in My information goes away when I Click on The line that tells me click here to fill in your complaint It's a Lunch time where you are so I won't be able to reach you for an hour and According to this I only have a half an hourTo respond. I am Going to be busy Until late this afternoon so I don't want this to go away Before I can transmit my information to you.The company Initially promised us A whole roof replacement Before they spoke with our insurance company. We signed the contract under the stipulation that the whole roof would be replaced. In speaking with my insurance company I learned that their policy is 2 Never Replace A full roof unless there is catastrophic damage. So they came in Misleading us from the start. I handed this matter over to my attorney and he learned that They are Licensed in Ohio To do business But not in Missouri. You should also know that one This company's representative Came to our house the first time I noticed he had the Revdex.com patch on his sleeve. That made me feel a little better knowing they were a member Of the Revdex.com. When I mentioned That to their representative he laughed and said anyone could be a member of the Revdex.com and Spoke about The Revdex.comAs if they had no importance at all. They think that You are a joke. I know you are not And I'm counting on you to stop this Predator from Preying on others.Thank you so much for your help
We will contact you to review your file this week.
I have not gotten resolution from insurance company. Insurance company tells me company did work without approval. I spoke to the insurance company after I had paid roofing company in full. I was told they were not responsible to pay for some of the work done. After speaking with insurance company, I contacted US Restoration. i left a message but my call was never returned. At no time, from July to March, did I receive communication that there was a problem getting reimbursement from the insurance company. It was only when I asked for a lien waiver so we could close on the sale that I learned there was an issue. We were then in a bind to get things done in order to not lose the sale.it took from July to October to get job completed. Materials sat at the house for over two weeks before job was started. We did not have a deck that was stained. I am unaware of siding repair. This was not our primary residence. We did receive mail at that address. House was unoccupied during this time period.
The insurance company has miscalculated their estimate on the rear wall of the home. It should be over 600 square feet not 150. We have been ignored by the carrier for a month and a half and have left several messages to no avail. We have a solution to repair this with the homeowner.
Per our contract we have a one year warranty on workmanship. Nothing was ever brought up during the one year time period. We would be happy to send a service technician. To the homeowner's home if we are paid in full. Since no payment has been received we can not even give the homeowner his lifetime manufacturers warranty on his siding or his warranty on his roof. We will not sign a warranty card until we are paid in full.
The insurance company has been contacted about outstanding bill g that we are owed on the roof replacement. We are looking for a sub contractor to do the gutters at this time.

am rejecting this response because: US R & R has never gotten back in touch with me to inform me of no match for the siding on my home. The replacement of the siding required an additional claim to be submitted to the insurance company. I had contacted my insurance company in October, because it had been three months since I had received no response from US R & R; I checked with my insurance company to see if a claim had been submitted for the siding and none was. Insurance company informed me that I could have the claim for the siding replacement submitted from another company. Again I tried contacting US R & R, still no response from them. I informed them in writing about going with another company for the siding, I inquired about how were they going to handle the refund of monies owed back to me for work that they were paid for that no longer was required for them to execute, and inquired when would the remaining repairs be completed in accordance to the insurance loss statement that they have been paid to do. Still to this day I haven't received any response or correspondence of their attentions.

Based on the small size of the job and the fact that the homeowner will have to come out of pocket their $1000.00, we have decided that it is in the best interest of both parties that we cancel homeowner's contract. With the winter as severe as it is we would not be able to schedule till early April. This way maybe the homeowner can find someone to help him out on the cost of the siding where he may not have to come up with such a large amount out of his pocket. Upon review the insurance company has not even accounted for about $900 in coverage on this small job that needs to be done. We wish the homeowner the best of luck and will process his refund check this week.
We previously responded to this complaint that we were working with the homeowner to complete their insurance repairs. 85% of the work was the roof and it is complete. The remaining minor trades were being scheduled to complete but they have to be coordinated to efficiently complete. The homeowner will still owe us more money when the job is done. We cannot bill out the balance to their insurance company until they are all done. So once we complete the repairs we will address this with their insurance company so we can be paid in full.
We previously responded to this complaint. We have done 85% of the work on the claim and are working with the insurance company on an estimate to repair the rest of the home properly. The siding piece was cut to have it analyzed to see if there was a match for the existing siding. ...
There is not an acceptable match so we are trying to get all the siding replaced. Once we come to an agreement with the homeowners insurance we can wrap this up. Unfortunately, the homeowner complained to you because they could not get a hold of the sales rep on their personal phone. We have informed the homeowner they need to call the office on their production matters not the rep. The homeowner still owes a bunch of money when the repairs are done and we cannot bill the insurance out till we complete the repairs. We are working on all of these items as best as we can.
The estate gray shingle is a dimensional shingle and has different variations of color to give it a 3d look. We did what you wanted. This is the first I have heard about the bushes. Please call our office at ###-###-#### to get this addressed. We will also try to call you. I cannot do anything about the roof as it is installed properly and we gave you what you ordered and the supplier supplied the right product. I have not seen any photos of the bushes.
There was a mistake in mr [redacted] billing. There was a credit that was not noted on his original contract, but in an email. It was an error on our part and it has been corrected.
