We are very sorry for this individuals frustrationOn February ***, the same day that they filed this complaint, they contacted us via email requesting a refundWe had already begun that refund process and had emailed them to let them know, prior to receiving this complaintWe would like this individual to know that there is a delay between when they file a complaint with the Revdex.com and when the company in question receives that complaint.It seems as though this individual was not aware of our weekly update via hangout video that we have been making available to our contributors for over a year now on our websiteWe are sorry about thatIf our supporters are unable to locate that on our website, we encourage them to use the contact us button and we would be happy to email them a link.At our earliest supporters request, we do not send out mass emailsHowever it does seem from their emails to us that they were aware of our crowdfunding status and of the delay between contribution and shipping.With crowdfunding, an inventor takes a good idea to the internetThere, many people contribute a small amount of money towards making that idea into a realityThe inventor then takes that money and uses it to create, manufacture, and ship the productWhen the product is ready, it is then shipped out to all the people who supported its creation, as a thank-you gift.Because of that process, there is usually a lag between when contributions are received and when perk packages are shippedThis can feel frustrating, but it is a part of crowdfundingIt seems that this individual was simply not comfortable waiting, so we are processing their refund

thingCHARGER is a crowdfunding campaignBefore we ship perk packages to our supporters we send them a link where they can add upgrades and select additional tips for their chargersThis individual selected an additional tip for the bonus charger in their perk package which is where the additional charge came from When the individual contacted us with their concern about the invoice we responded with an explanation of the invoice At the time of this response the individual has received all of their thingCHARGERs and their tips

When this transaction occurred thingCHARGER was a crowdfunding campaignAt the time of this writing this individual has received their thingCHARGERs.thingCHARGER is currently a crowdfunding campaign that has started shippingCrowdfunding has become more and more popular in recent years--Americans are enjoying getting behind new ideas and helping small start-ups succeed Crowdfunding works a bit differently than a typical "direct sales" and we are shipping out in the order that people supported us.Some people joined us many months before we had our product available and so we are working to send their thingCHARGERs to them first and then working our way through our newer supporters

We are very sorry that this individual did not receive our email responses to their questionsWe have attempted to reach out to them via both phone and email and will continue to attemptWe encourage our supporters to email us at [redacted] Because crowdfunding uses the funds collected from our amazing supporters to create, manufacture, and ship our products to our supporters, there is often a long delay between the receipt of funds and the shipment of packagesThis can feel like a problem to individuals who are unfamiliar with crowdfunding, but it is a part of the process.We have reached out to this individual to try to attempt to address their concerns and will continue to do so

ThingCharger is a 100% scam companyThey sell via smoke/mirrorsI purchased units and none workI was told that if I returned the units they would be refunded minus 25% due to restocking and testingI even upgraded after purchase to double the power and add surge protectionI tried to speak to them via email and was told that only new units would be returned for fullIt is impossible to return new units as you needed to register the unit by opening up the packagingThe time it took to deliver is grounds alone to not trust them, however, when they did arrive they did not work as promisedThe "tips" won't hold in place and recess into the unit, the only way to have them work is to remove the unit from the wall and disconnect the tip, then place into the unit being charged and return the charger to the socketI gave up when I was repeatedly told to return for a reduced refund (email correspondence available upon request) yet email continued telling me of the representatives successSuccess? Sure, you are the scammer helping "run" the companyI am looking for a partial refund (at the very least for the amount I upgraded after purchase) as sending back units and having a 25% value sent back to me (if they can be trusted to actually do that) is unacceptable

We are grateful that this individual has contacted us, both here at the Revdex.com and directly at [email protected], so that we can work with them to resolve this issueWe are very sorry that this individual has been frustrated by the delays in receiving their perk packageWe also wish that we could have gotten thingCHARGERs to our newer supporters more quickly.Happily, at this time the individual has completed the shipping verification process and their package is being assembled and shippedWe hope that they will be satisfied with their thingCHARGERs when they arriveAt each time that this individual has contacted us, we have been completely truthful and answered them quicklyDuring the fall of we did experience a shortage of units to ship to the thousands of thingCHARGER fans who are waiting patiently for us to fulfill their crowdfunding campaign perk packagesWe are attempting to ship to our earliest supporters first in honor of their early support and are working hard to finish fulfilling all of the packages for our and contributors by the end of JanuaryWhile there are thingCHARGER units available on Amazon.com, those units were not placed there by us or by our distribution partnerThese are units that were acquired by a third party and have been placed there at a high mark up in costWe are not sure where these unit were acquired or who has listed them, but our focus continues to remain on fulfilling our early supporters.There are a small number of units available in some Sam's Club/Walmart locationsThese were offered by our distribution partner as part of a small market testWe are sorry that the availability of these units has been upsetting, however we continue to offer the best upgrades, perks and deals to our supporters.We understand that the lack of a clear shipping timeline for our contributors has been frustrating to them, so we have added a timeline estimate to our website based on the month that our supporters donated to our campaignWe are also attaching this timeline to any inquiries that we receive regarding crowdfunding, new contributions, or from supporters seeking more information regarding our shipping expectations.We truly appreciate our supporters feedback and, while it sometimes takes a little time to implement solutions based on their concerns, we are listening and we are working to improve.In this case, we hope that this individuals concerns have been addressed and that as soon as their thingCHARGERs arrive they will be completely satisfied

Never received my order, all I got was a link for delivery details that has been "under temporary maintenance" for almost months Tried to reach out to the company via email and phone several times, no response CROOKS AND THIEVES

We are very sorry for the frustration that this individual experiencedWe have emailed them acknowledging their request for a refund and will process that for them right away. It appears that when this individual contributed to our crowdfunding campaign, they were unaware of our
crowdfunding status and believed that we had moved to direct shippingWe are sorry that they felt badly about the email explaining that we were still a crowdfunding campaign as that was not our intentWhen they emailed in December we were still working on developing a shipping timeline based on the month in which supporters donated to our campaign, so at that time we could not give a precise answerWe do have a shipping timeline available now on our website. Because thingCHARGER is still a crowdfunding campaign and we are currently shipping to our very early supporters, we have a final checkout to allow them to add any items that were not available when they originally contributed and to confirm their current shipping address. This individual became very frustrated with that process and we are very sorry that they were not given the information they needed to feel comfortable completing that shipping confirmationWhile this individual had prepaid an amount towards shipping, occassionally the actual cost of shipping is slightly higher than the prepaid amountWhen this difference is small, as in this case, we do not charge the supporter. However, we do want to offer an apology for the frustration that this individual experienced with the final checkout process and that this individuals frustration and request for a refund was not immediately acknowledgedWe will be working on improved training to prevent that from happening again. At this time we have begun the refund process and emailed this individual to let them knowWe will be following up with them as soon as the refund has been processed
