False advertising a free product trial with only having to pay shipping. Absolutely no "fine print" or disclosure about future charges.
They advertised their products as a free trial and all you had to do was pay the shipping charge. $4.95.

When I got the product I found that they had sent me two products, rather than the one I thought I was buying and they charged $4.98 shipping for that second one.

There was no literature what-so-ever about needing to cancel within 14 days of order or you would be charged an exorbitant price per bottle if you kept it. $83.41 and $78.91 per bottle. Also, no literature about being put on auto-ship with recurring charges.

I specifically searched their site for info on the fine print details and there was none. There was no information other than a packing slip that came with the product.

We called and talked with them to complain. They claimed to have taken us off of auto-ship but couldn't reverse the charges and refund our money to us. We explained that they were dishonest and had fraudulent marketing. We asked about returning the bottles to get a refund, but they declined. They claimed to have talked to a supervisor and then came back on line and said "Sorry we couldn't resolve this." and hung up on us.

The product did not work. It was claimed to help me loose weight, and I have not lost any weight in the two weeks that I have taken the product.

We called and disputed the charges with our credit card because the company was unwilling to work with us, so we may be able to get our money back that way.

We want no further contact with the company. We do not want them to insist that we pay for the product after the dispute and they don't get their money, if that is how it works disputing charges with the credit card company. We want no further charges from them and no further product deliver to our door.

We made the purchase on 4/24/2019. Got the product several days after, don't know the exact date probably the 29th or later. So we did call to cancel within two weeks of receiving the product.

Desired Outcome

We want the charges reversed and to not be billed for the product. We want no further contact with the company. We do not want them to insist that we pay for the product after the dispute and they don't get their money. (If that is how it works disputing charges with the credit card company.) We want no further charges from them and no further product delivered to our door. They should have to change their advertising so that there is full disclosure about cost and recurring charges as well as the time period for seeking a refund.

According to our records, we received your order for a 14-day trial for the Instalean Dietary Supplements. The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a 14 day trial period starting from the date that the order was placed, in which you could cancel your account to avoid further charges. They also indicate that, "you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $83.41 and $78.91 for the products purchased, fourteen days from the date that the order was placed for the product(s)."
These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to.
When you ordered the product you also clicked a button indicating that you agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer clicks that button, we must assume that they have read what they are agreeing to. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.
Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $83.41 and $78.91.
According to our records the first contact we had requesting cancellation of your account was on 05/16/19, when our company received a dispute from your Financial Institution. Which resulted in your account being canceled immediately, and you have not received any shipments or charges since then.
Since you have contacted your credit card company and initiated a chargeback for the full charges. Due to the chargeback, we are unable to issue you a credit at this time because you would then end up getting a credit twice for those purchases. Once a chargeback is filed with your bank we are unable to provide any type of refund as a resolution to the account. The outcome will be between you and your bank. There response is a lie. They did not have this information posted on their site, we did not see it once during the order process. If it was there at all on their site it was completely hidden and virtually impossible to locate because we specifically looked for it and couldn't find anything about future charges or what would happen after the free trial anywhere.

Their email of confirmation of the order, which I have attached a screen shot of, clearly has no "full written version of the terms you agreed to." as they have claimed in their response.

If the bank does not issue us a permanent refund by the end of June (that is their deadline of receiving response from the company) and Instalean refuses to work with them on this issue and allow them to refund our money, then there will be no way we will end up with a double refund. In that case, we will want a refund directly through Instalean.

We called an cancelled on 5/10/19, so their records of 5/16/19 are clearly false. They were rude, refused to work with us, and hung up the phone on us after claiming they talked with a manager giving us no chance to work with them, so they are not "sorry" nor are they an honest, upstanding company.

Click bait. No clear mention of an $83 charge 14 days after the 100% satisfaction guarantee 30 day supply of pills was sent. Deceptive tactics.

They falsified the amount of a product, then at check out they asked if I wanted to add an idea, in declined. Once I pushed submit, it added it and my total went fron19 to 40. I called and emailed immediately to cancel the 1 item, they said it was already processing and couldn't refund me. I got the item and asked to send back but they said no refunds. We went back and forth through email and she kept saying, no refunds even though I didn't order it. Not my fault and they won't take it back. I asked to talk to management or supervisor and they stopped emailing me.

Refused to Acknowledge my request to cancel subscription then charged my account.
I purchased the 14 day trial subscription on March 13th. I sent an email to their support email address requesting to cancel my subscription on March 25th. I received a charge of $83.41 on my account on March 28th and an email replying from my original cancellation email on April 1, 2019 stating that my subscription would be cancelled and no further charges would be made. I emailed back immediately stating that I cancelled within the 14 days. A response email was sent stating that a refund was not possible since I did not cancel within the 14 day period. I have replied several times since then advising I did cancel and forwarded my original email that they replied to confirming my cancellation, but have not received any further response back.

I would like my full refund as I did cancel my subscription within the 14 day trial period.

I will accept the money back but it was not for the 14 day trial. My first order was in January. I cancelled later. Then they charged me again and continued to send product. The product is junk for me does absolutely nothing.

This is a scam. You sign up for a "free" 14 day supply of a diet supplement called Forskolin Extract. They send you a 30 day supply. There is no communication about any additional charges yet 2 weeks later I was charged for $83.41 without my permission. I called the company,(their website no longer appears to exist) and am told they do not offer refunds or and something about the small print. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they operate through a "chat session" and that there was nothing she could to help me. She then hung up. BUYER BEWARE. Oh, and the pills do NOTHING.

On 2/15/19, I signed up for a free sample of Instalean - just pay shipping. They have continued to charge my account for an unwanted subscription.
On 2/15/19, I signed up for a free sample of Instalean Forskolin, for which I agreed to pay shipping and handling of 4.99. There was no fine print (I read this religiously for any offers I check out). They sent me two free samples and charged me for two free samples. I thought maybe I had accidentally hit "submit" twice or something like that, so no flags went up. I DID NOT sign up or authorize any further subscriptions or transactions to my account, yet on March 3rd, March 4th, and March 20th, they charged three different transactions in excess of $79 to my account (different amounts each time). I have not received any further products after the free samples I received. I emailed the company but have not received a response. Reading the other complaints here, it seems unlikely that I will receive a refund. I called my bank and heard the same story others have - that the banks will not refund my money either if I file fraud charges, because I first signed up for a free sample and they will assume that it was in the fine print "I didn't read." I will need to cancel my card and get a new one with my bank in order to prevent further charges to my account from this fraudulent company. As others have mentioned, when they looked up instalean online to check the terms, the original offer was not what was found. I found a distinctively non-American instalean website with broken English throughout (I never would have ordered from such a website or offer), and several other similar offers for the same product, but not the same offer to which I fell prey originally.

I would like the company to refund the unwanted charges to my account in full, since I authorized no further charges to my account beyond the free sample.

This company needs to be placed on your alert list. You agree to a two week trial order of supplements and then they come back and charge you .
I agreed to a two week trial order of supplements for shipping cost only. Approximately two weeks later, the company charged me again for the cost of the supplements that were supposed to be free.I was able to obtain a partial refund after threatening them with a lawsuit.

This company scams buyer with no invoice or warning of rates then charges $80+ for 30 pills. On website at the bottom there is no disclaimer!
I purchase two products on 2-27-19 and paid shopping cost and the second one I bought. I never recieved an electronic invoice via email, even checked spam. Now on the 3-17-19 I was charged $79 & $83! I called my bank to file a dispute and the bank gave me the phone number since I first learned of the product on Instagram. The website is instalean.dietary.com/new/offer and the phone number is 833-499-0546. My order number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX for USPS. I spoke to a woman named Chris and her supervisor was Denise. S
Chris informed me that because a claim was in progress I couldn't cancel my pending $79 order even thought it had not gone through. And when I informed her that I never received an invoice she said that there was nothing she could do to give me a receipt for my transaction and when I asked about where the information was for the additional bees that I was charged she said it was at the bottom of the website when you scroll all the way down but it's not listed. You can pull the phone recording as she told me where the fine print was but when I checked there was no indication that the charging would continue. And I dont have an email for the charge or cancellation email.

Scam customers to pay for shipping and then charge an additional fee of $162.32. Also charge a $9.95 to return the product and get partial refund.
Ordered "free" product. Paid shipping and handling. Received product. Was charged $162.32 without warning or permission. Now I have to PAY to return product and will only get a partial refund. This is a complete waste of time and money!

Signed up to receive a trial of these pills and was told I only had to pay shipping. I then had $160 worth of charges from this company.
I signed up for a free trial that only had to pay shipping. Two weeks later I received a charge for around $160 I called the company and they said I was signed up for a trial. I was never told there was a trial or subscription. I tried to call that company and they were very rude to me. First guy hung up on me after saying he would do a 50% refund on one of the charges and I tried to request for a manager. I called back and the representative *** acted like she would help and claimed she spoke with a manager and he said there was nothing they could do for me when I said I need to speak with a manager she hung up on me as well. I am contacting my bank about these charges trying to see if they can help because they were unauthorized.

Ordered a "Free" trial of one product and was charged for that product along with another without my authorization once I put in my card for payment. I'm not happy.

I ordered Instalean and it says that it was a risk free free trail. All I had to pay for was shipping. I purchased two items, for a grand total of $9.93, which was the shipping total. I ordered these products on 2/18/2019. On 3/7/2019, my credit card was charged two times. One was a charge for $83.41 and another was for $78.91. My order number is 9DXXXXXCD6. No where in the purchasing, did it mention that I would be signed up for a membership at $170 per month. I used my credit card to purchase these items, which is how they were able to charge me again.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. They scammed me $83 that I can never get back. Now I can't even find their website.

Didn't end subscription before trial period ended. Now that credit card is charged couldn't find any contact info and website deleted. Scam
Purchased product on Feb 20th, received two containers about a week later. Afterwards forgot to end trial before the thirty day period ended. Company charged my card $83 on March 8th for next months and I tried to contact them about ending subscription. The website has been deleted do to bring caught as a scam and no means of refund has happened.

I had signed up for a free trial one time fee. Then two weeks later I had an unauthorized transaction made to my bank account of $84.00.
I signed up for a free trial, just pay shipping. 2 weeks later I got an unauthorized transaction made to my bank card of $84. I immediately called my bank to dispute the unauthorized transaction. They couldn't do nothing due to the hidden text in the terms and conditions. The bank told me to call the company and they didn't want to give me my full refund. They only gave me half, what they call a courtesy refund
