My family and I live in a split level home with three heating zones One of the zones, which uses radiant heatwas not working and the temperature dropped to degrees The NJR employee who answered my phone call for service was very sympathetic that morning, just after 6am, while taking down my information and scheduling an appointment An excellent service technician named Al arrived shortly after 9am He was very thorough in his questing and testing to understand and then quickly resolve the problem
Our heat was working properly again within minutes I appreciate the promopt and excellent customer service received from NJR Home Services Thank you!
During the past year NJ Home Repair recommended replacement of the HVAC unit at ** *** **Owners contacted NJ Home Repair and signed a contract to remove and replace the existing unit including Permits with Montville Township(see attached)
On August 18, a new Trane Heating/AC unit in the amount of $ 6,was installed by NJ Home Repair Over a day period NJ Home Repair was contacted and came out three 3x to ** *** **
At first, since the weather was not warm there was no need for Air ConditioningApproximately in mid- September, *** ***/Tenant contacted NJ Home Repair based on unit not maintaining temperature as the temperature outside began to get warmer
This happened twice 2xBoth times pinholes were found in the lines and Freon replacedSubsequently, the weather really heated up while the unit was maintaining the temperature more water was noticed on the hall rug around the utility closedNJ Home Repair was called back a third time 3X and coul
The technician was friendly and professionalVery thorough
I planned to rate star but there is no such option Terrible company I had the contract from and thought I would have a peace in my mind I called in in for water heater failure I called them and was given a quote, which was much more expensive then the one I got from Lowes Totally worthless!
I did not make the payment for and thought the contract would end, just like auto insurance or home owner's insurance NO!!! I received a phone call today from a debt collection company, telling me I owed NJR about $ I was in total shock!!! I called NJR and was told the contract was auto renewed every year and I needed to call them to cancel the contract
I am getting an attorney to help me on this It is just unfair that I had to pay this ridiculous "debt" for no services
I have been using NJR for my last and current home's heating and a/c needs for well over yearsAlways courteous, prompt, and reliable service from initial call on through to completed work and follcall to ensure I am completely satisfied

DO NOT USE NJR HOME SERVICES! My husband and I live in Manahawkin spent almost $7,on a brand new AC and furnace, and now only one year in our AC blower has gone and the part that is on "rush ordeR" no-one calls us back its been over a week of my husband and I having to use a window AC unit and keep our three kids in one room with the dangerous tempsThe supervisors Lynn did NOT help us, and we want a refund of the $service charge we pay every monthwe are told too badThis is despicable

New Jersey Home Services replaced my old water heater which had begun to leak on occasion and they also completed an evaluation of my heating/furnace I found their technicians to be proficient,respectful and efficient I had completed an Internet search on the heater they installed and it had a out of ratingI will a loyal customer to New Jersey Home Services because of the professionalism of their technicians and the quality of their products
I have had a NJR Home Service Contract for the last couple of yearsThey are suppose to provide a yearly inspection/tune up yearly for both my furnace and AC unitWhen they were called at the beginning of heating season and beginning of cooling season they explained I couldn't make an appointment at hat time and had to wait months for them to come out In addition I recently moved and they charged me for an entire year $when I was only into this years contract about three months and would not prorate it I was unaware that they automatically renew your contract without notifying youI would caution anyone using this company
Technician arrived on time and diagnosed problems right away He was very courteous and solved problems I was impressed by home service and glad to have a service contract with you!

For five years we have been paying for a service contract for heating and boiler repairs with NJ Home Resources I called nj home resources to fix water heaterTechnician came out and said we needed a part which we orderedFew days after that another technician came out and said water heater was fixed after he had installed the new part Water heater broke within two hoursThey came back next day and said that the new part broke and we would have to order it again which we didWhen technician came to put the second part in he said that there was an electrical issue that was causing the parts to break but wasn’t sure and said that we would need to have an electrician look at itWe had electrician from same company come out and they said we needed grounding work done and that we needed two electricians to do the jobThey came out next day and did the electrical work and charged us After the electrical work was performed the electricians called their office to have the hea
