Tech was very patient with me, since I arrived a bit late and had an issue getting in to unit
He was very efficient in servicing the furnace, and gave me a detailed explanation on what was wrong, and how the failed part worked in the overall system
I always like to know about things I do not fully understand the workings of, and he brought me up to speed
Full marks on today's visit !!

To Whom It May Concern:
I have the platinum home heating service contract with NJR Home Service and the plumbing department came to my home on December 6, to perform repairs and installation of various gauges and pumps on my steam heating system I paid NJR $for these services, which also included a flushing of my system, according to the person who performed the work
Since that time, two of the steam heat radiators in my home have not been working I called NJR on December 18th, December 19th, and December 20th to inform them of the cessation of functionality of the two radiators All three times I was told that the customer representatives could not get a hold of any supervisors and that I would receive a call before the end of the business day I have yet to get a response from anyone at NJR
I have had to hire an outside plumber to determine what needs to be done to fix the damage caused by NJR He said that a steam heating system should never be flushed

When I signed service contract for repair air conditioning or heating units I was promised verbally that serviceman evaluate within 24-hours I called 5/4/for repair air and was given a date of may with no guarantee that njr could ensure a guarantee in that date either I want to cancel the contract for $monthly for one year.This is the first time I called and very dissatisfied I was charged for service $in feb when the previous home owners cintract expired

I have long been impressed by this company's fantastic customer service, competent service technicians, and quick response time Just today, NJR Home Services sent Al to our home because our heat went out Our house is old and has a difficult location for our heating unit Al was diligent and worked hard to fix the problem, despite any difficulties All throughout, Al was calm and collected, and he explained things clearly without a hint of being condescending
I am so glad that I have kept my service contract with them and I recommend them, highly

For five years we have been paying for a service contract for heating and boiler repairs with NJ Home Resources I called nj home resources to fix water heaterTechnician came out and said we needed a part which we orderedFew days after that another technician came out and said water heater was fixed after he had installed the new part Water heater broke within two hoursThey came back next day and said that the new part broke and we would have to order it again which we didWhen technician came to put the second part in he said that there was an electrical issue that was causing the parts to break but wasn’t sure and said that we would need to have an electrician look at itWe had electrician from same company come out and they said we needed grounding work done and that we needed two electricians to do the jobThey came out next day and did the electrical work and charged us After the electrical work was performed the electricians called their office to have the hea

Brian performed my annual inspection and was extremely knowledgeable of my entire HVAC systemHis service was performed on-time and he was able to answer all of my questions and concernsHe is a definite asset to NJR Home Services and I will always request him for future visits if possible

Tech that came out(Gavin) showed up on timeHe did a great job servicing my A/C, Furnace and Hot Water HeaterVery pleasant to deal withDefinitely worth getting the service plan

I have been using NJR for my last and current home's heating and a/c needs for well over yearsAlways courteous, prompt, and reliable service from initial call on through to completed work and follcall to ensure I am completely satisfied

Everyone was professional from the office to the field techniciansAll were extremely knowledgeable and courteousHad my gallon gas water heater replaced from the second floor of my homeMy home has all white carpetThe water heater was replaced within two hours and you would never know they were there except for the new heater being neatly in placeThey laid down double tarps in the entire work area and stairs before they even started the replacementThe technicians actually made some improvements to the manner that the water heater was originally (piped) installed to provide a better support of the expansion tankI am in the business of dealing with subcontractors as a project manager for 16+ years and I was impressed with this teamHighly recommendedBap Cimino, West Creek NJ

Have only been using NJR home services for a few yearsEverything from start to finish scheduling appt etc has been seamless My technician To yveas outstanding Ontime , thorough and explained everything going on I couldn’t have been happier Would recommend to everyone

The worst company to provide service and will never show up , even though I cancelled with them years ago , they keep on charging NJNG bill every year , every year its been a problem to get these money minting all fuss no work don't start service them at all

Furnace Tech, Gavin, was excellentDid a through inspection and cleaning of my furnaceHe also advised me on safety issues as my unit is old and could have potential for problemsI really appreciated this as I have been on a rescue squad for over years
Safety is a top priorityGavin also explained some hot water heater potential issues as that unit is double the life of average unit
I would recommend this service highly

Excellent service at a great priceThe seasonal maintenance included a replacement of the thermocoupler which other companies charge $500+ to replace! Franklin, the technician who performed the tune up was friendly, professional and informativeI will definitely use NJR Home Services for all of my boiler maintenance needs

Had a leaking water heater that ruined a whole area of my house All the people that NJR sent to my house were all great They had a lot of patience with meI really appreciate them

NJR great services I use them for all my HVAC & Hot Water Heater tooToday, they just installed my new Hot Water heater Great service and both men so pleasantExplained everything, no mess when they left
